More information can be added as well. Pros I helps the educator to give updates to the parents quickly and regularly. Great communicating tool for everybody. It has been easy to message back and forth with providers and notify them of any changes to schedules, etc. Super easy to check in/out my children using a QR code. Pros Ease of messaging back and forth with care provider and ease of using QR code to sign in both kids to daycare. Cons When it glitches and I am unable to get it to sync real time or when a sleep timer has been started on one device but stopped on another and it still says my kid is sleeping 14 hours later. Cons I don't really have any major issues with Daily Connect. The only minor inconvenience is that it's an American app, so there can sometimes be a time delay in getting replies. You will not be disappointed. Pros Its a great parent tool, that gives piece of mind through the day and follows the child's journey from room to room, Easy to use for staff and parents. Packed with features like attendance tracking, daily reports, photo sharing, and messaging. Our parents absolutely love this app because its so easy to use and its affordable for the nursery's/day care providers We have used this app for 10 years and never looked back. Cons We don't really have many problems at all, if we do have any query's we send an email to try and find a solution, this can take a little while as they are based in America and we are in the UK. The app is good and once you've used it a few times everything makes sense. Pros I like the ease of use and the many different categories. It's very user friendly and it didn't take much time to understand how to use the app. I really like how you can review all of the photos as if it were an album on your phone. Cons The thing I would change is how the communication works. It currently comes up like it's an activity or how anything else would come up. I would prefer it was it's own entity like how the photos are where I could go into the messaging category and treat it like an email or text separate from the activity feed. Once you send a message you have to go back to the activity feed to see what you saved instead of it populating where it was sent from. Review Source ES Emily S. There has been great updates to the app and it seems like they are always trying to make it better. I love how we can now like or comment on any of the activities and or messages. Great feature. Pros I love how user friendly this app is. I have used it as a teacher, parent and a director and it has worked great! Cons Right now we are struggling with not all of the children showing up on the director page when we add a new child. Pros I like that you can edit the time, in case you can’t enter in real time. I also like that it saves activities for future use. I like that you can choose multiple children on an entry. Cons I don’t like that it doesn’t have where you can choose the learning standards for documentation. It’s a pretty quick learning curve. Overall attractive appearance. Cons It doesn’t always sync and timers often don’t align between users. If you switch portals (phone vs web browser vs computer), the appearance and function are different. Some widgets are more useful than others depending on the portal. Pros Daily Connect is easy to use, simple to understand and yet provides everything I need in regards to communication, charting, and documentation for the child care facility I work at. Cons There's really not many negatives to speak of other than sometimes accessing children in other rooms or switching them rooms allowing me to access their chart can be challenging, but I believe it could be more of a facility issue than a Daily Connect issue, I'm unsure. Pros I like that it has so many features and it makes assessments and portfolios easy. Cons It is not super user friendly. I am constantly having to email asking questions. I think aesthetically it could look more simple from the parent app and teachers iPad, it confusing for a lot of my families. However, being able to see how many diaper changes he’s had, food and snacks, water:milk intake, and different crafts they are doing throughout the day puts my mind at ease. I am very thankful my Daycare Provider uses this app. Pros I am able to track what my son does throughout the day. Cons Every once in a while the notifications button in the app will switch to off and I won’t receive the notifications. However usually as soon as I turn it back on, there’s no issue.
