We love checking in on our kids all day long while they're not in our care, and Daily Connect helps us feel like we know everything going on with our kids while they're not in our care.

Pros

We use this through our daycare and we love the accessibility of information about our children each and every day. Great messages, pictures and notes on what they've been up to.

Cons

It was hard for me to figure out how to turn on notifications via the app to connect with my iPhone and actually give me pop-up alerts on my phones for new messages and pictures.

### "The best switch I could have made!"

I switched from another daily communication app that I had for many years. It was getting more and more expensive with less features that I needed. I made the switch to Daily connect and it has been great! I have recommended it to others as well.

Pros

I love being able to communicate with parents, update activities real time or after (or even before), easily send pictures, and the ability for parents to update how a child slept, or ate before school.

Cons

The video doesn't always work. Would be great if you could upload videos you already have as well.

I downloaded most of the apps and tried them all, daily connect was the one that had most of the features I was looking for and was affordable (also, I didn't have an apple device, so I couldn't use some other programs because of that)

I love it! Parents love it! I use it every day and would be lost without it.

Pros

I love most aspects of the app. I love how interactive it is, how many different and useful functions it has and how easy it is to use.

Cons

I’d love to be able to add several photos at once and also if parents could countersign the accident forms, incident forms etc.

Over all I am very satisfied with daily connect. I use it for my home daycare and would love to use it for my centre of 40 children I just wish that prices were better for more children.

Pros

I like that each child’s profile has their picture beside their name. I think how parents can sign children in and out or the educator and that there is attendance reports provided for the month. The parents love seeing photos of their children.

Cons

I think there should be a place for the parents to sign electronically with a signature on the monthly attendance report.

I love it and would recommend it to all preschool teachers.

Pros

I was looking for a way to be more environmentally friendly in my program. I wanted to move away from paper daily sheets for the parents. I started looking into communication apps and found Daily Connect. I tried it out and loved it! The parents in my program love it because they can see what's happening during the day in real time, and the especially love the pictures of their child's day.

Cons

I don't really have any cons because whenever I come across something that isn't as user friendly as I like, I make a suggestion and usually it ends up being improved. The Daily Connect team really cares about their product and makes improvements as they go alomg.

Great experience. Easy to use and easy to learn.

Pros

So easy to use! Has a mobile version and a desktop version and both are similar interfaces so you can use either with ease.

Cons

Need to pay a premium to access all the features. Which is understandable but also unforunate. One feature I wish was included in the base version was that the parent app could be free. Not fair to parents to have to pay.

### "Perfect for in home childcare"

Not having to use paper daily notes is environmentally responsible. Heightened levels of communication with all parents (not just the parent doing drop off and pick up) has increased our parents happiness with the care received.

Pros

The ease of this app is the best feature. It is easy to record details of each child's day and parents absolutely love the frequent updates and pictures throughout their day!

Cons

I would love to be able to type in one menu and apply that to all children. Having to log the same meal x 6 children x 3 times per day could be simplified. Much like when we post a picture - and you can select multiple children to have that picture posted for.

I am happy with it so far.

Pros

I have tried other childcare software and Daily Connect has so far been the one I am happiest with. It is very easy to use and I like that you are charged per child and not a flat rate. This makes it fair for smaller daycares. Customer service is quick when you have a question and very helpful.

Cons

Well, when I remove a child they don't seem to be fully removed. They remain in the archived section. I'm not sure what the need for this is.

Product is easy to use and give parents the opportunity to see exactly what is happening during the child's day.

Cons

Sometimes the software does not sync well, and if a teacher uploads something it may not upload.

My overall experience has been great. My families love it and that’s what’a most important.

Pros

What I like most about the DailyConnect app is how easy it makes communicating with several families at once. My families love receiving pictures and updates regarding their child throughout the day. It’s also super convenient vs having to carry a pen and paper to jot everything down.

Cons

I didn’t really have any negative feedback about the app until the recent requirement of payment. I operate a small in-home daycare and while the charge isn’t a lot, it’s still an expense that I have to budget into my monthly expenses.

I wish there was an option to customize some of the buttons. I wish we could put in our developmental indicators in so that we could alert parents when their child accomplishes a new task.

Love how easy it is to communicate with parents throughout the day when it comes to their littles! It has really helped ensuring that parents and staff members are on the same page and aware of any necessary supplies, activities, and their child’s learning daily!

Cons

I only wish that we were notified if a parent left a message; sometimes we weren’t aware we had a message from a parent, which caused slow response times.

I use it for my Daycare. I tried using the software that my previous employer used but it was difficult, confusing and expensive. Daily Connect is easy to use and the price is great!

Cons

Videos don’t share well. I’ve tried several times but the parents say they never received them.

Daily Connect is a good choice for basic daycare needs. You can use it for signing in/out, invoicing parents, taking census, easily. The desktop is more reliable than the app.

Pros

Daily Connect is an affordable software option for small daycares. I like the sign-in/out function best.

Cons

The mobile app seems to freeze up a lot. It's not always clear that when I take a picture, I can send it to a parent. Sometimes, I don't have the drop-down menu option for choosing a specific child.

Pros

Ease of use and the ability to keep and see everything in real time. Especially when having hectic schedules this eliminates the need to ask a dozen questions about my child's day when I can just review it and enjoy my time with my son.

Cons

There's no cons at this time. The only request would be a dark mode as we use the app to start the bedtime timer when we are rocking our child to sleep. Some phones, even when the brightness is all the way down still are too bright for a barely lit room.

I couldn't run my business successfully without it. I love everything about this app!

Pros

I love everything about this system, but most importantly the customer service is outstanding! I have only had to inquire 2 times, and both issues were handled within minutes. The developer directly contacted me via email. I was extremely impressed! Not only is the customer service great, but it is perfect for documentation and communicating with my child care families. I cannot give this program a better review! 10 out of 10!

Cons

I wish that there were group options like we are able to do for picture uploads. Being able to add in a meal or message for an entire group without posting on individual profiles would be much faster and seamless.
