Pros

The only limitation with this is your imagination, or willingness to learn how to use certain features. Exceptionally cost effective whether business or personal.

Cons

The settings/features panels can be a little difficult to navigate but once you get used to it, you know where to go.

Twilio is considered the GOAT in SMS Marketing for good reason. They are trustworthy and reliable (I haven't had issues with SMS not going through), easy to use and schedule your marketing campaigns, and the analytics are solid. The pricing is confusing at first, but once you kind of figure out how they charge you, you realize that their pricing is quite cheap. There are other SMS Marketing options out there, but the dirty secret is that most of them still use a Twilio number and/or integration. Go to the source, use Twilio.

This program seemed to have a lot of features.

Cons

This system was all-around confusing- it was tough to know what was what. In order for this system to work, one had to tie-in a third-party application. Too complicated.

### "My experience with twilio"

As I mentioned before the problem that we wanted to address was a reminder that is needed based on the location. The user may be traveling in a bike or driving a car so a small notification would not be enough so that was the reason for us to seek twilio and use it's voice feature

Pros

I really like the whole idea of the service. Our team was building a location reminder app for which we wanted twilio to notify users when they are near their location. We seriously we're blow away by the ease of use and how it all worked in the end to put together our product

Cons

To be honest. There was nothing we could complain of and had a good experience overall. So, there is honestly nothing to booo about

### "Solid SMS gateway, but not for the faint of heart in terms of config"

Pros

Twilio saves me from having to manually look up carrier sms information and use email to send out group notifications. I can now just enter phone numbers in a tool, and twilio takes care of the rest.

Cons

Integration and initial configuration was rough. It took a fair amount of Googling to get tied in with our wordpress environment.

Pros

It is good for taking calls and very easy to use and understand. It is less complicated than the other software I used to use back then.

Cons

There are a few minor issues that affect this system I’m not sure exactly why but sometimes when I refresh the page it comes up with a error message and I had to sign back in.

Twilio is very powerful, but you really need to know what you are doing to achieve maximum results. Not noon-friendly.

Pros

Twilio is a market-leading communication API provider. In terms of features, Twilio offers it all pretty much, SMS, voice, video and authentication. The way their user interface is set up allows the user to browse through the different categories of services their offer. Their API is top-notch and works smoothly if you know what you are doing.

Cons

Customer service is so-so, takes a long time to receive a reply by email most of the time, 36-48 hours on average. The tutorials they have are definitely not noob-friendly.

One of the leading VoIP platforms on the market. Nice and easy, especially for the requested price.

Pros

Fantastic service for the money they ask! Twilio is a wonderful tool for building an infrastructure for making phone calls and sending SMS messages. Certainly it has a learning curve, but overall it's much easier to get setup and running than most of its competitors in the industry.

Cons

While its'a much easier to learn platform than most and the UI has significantly improved overtime, it's not as simple as I'd like it to be. Once you get into it it's OK, but teaching the new stuff on how to work with it definitely takes some time.

Very competitive and stable platform. Had pretty seamless integration into custom site caller application and easy audit trails for calls I was working on.

Pros

RESTful API makes integrating scripts very easy and is highly salable, quick and easy to provision SMS and phone number services as well as advanced call attendant and recording features. Plenty of support for international dialing as well.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind for my use case but it is possible the platform does not comply with certain regulatory requirements for certain institutions (not sure if this is the case, but worth investigating).

Cons

Twilio's pricing can be a bit confusing, and I have to be mindful of costs. Additionally, while the documentation is generally helpful, it can sometimes be challenging to find specific information quickly. Simplified pricing and improved documentation would enhance the overall experience.

Pros

There are many things I appreciate about Twilio, but some of my favorite features are the ease of sending and receiving text messages, the low cost of the service and the great customer service.

Cons

The user interface can be a little confusing and difficult to navigate.

Pros

I like the fact that they are able to send out automated SMS through Twilio and my CRM. I think they have an implementation team.

Cons

they have the integration between the two already set up, but I'm not finding it very easy to set up.

Pros

The costs are probably the single best thing about Twilio. I didn't realize how much cheaper they would be compared to other providers. It's just a great system to use especially if you need to integrate with other systems.

Cons

There is so much you can do with Twilio that it is easy to get lost. I can't really think of anything that is wrong with the platform.

Greatly expanded our ability to communicate with our customers.

Pros

We use Twilio to integrate text messaging with our CRM. The interface is easy to navigate and setup was a cinch. Unbelievably broad product offering, we plan to incorporate the faxing component as well.

Cons

Encountered some unusual logging issues early on, but I think that was more on our programming than Twilio. Otherwise, I'm hard pressed to come up with a "con".

My overall experience with Twilio is good and I honestly think that they have very high standards and extensive features in their platform. As they provide multiple services you can easily expand into those other services also as you go.

Pros

We have been using Twilio as our SMS marketing tool and the platform allows us to personalize every message according to each customer. This tool has helped us in creating long lasting relationships with our customers through this advanced enagegment levels and personalization.

Cons

After using Twilio for sometime I found the platform a little bit restrictive and too many rules. When it comes to sending out a SMS content there were few instances that the platform requested to change the content multiple times and it was exhausting specially during promotional campaigns.

It is easy to set up a basic telephone number and I liked that we were able to choose telephone numbers from many different geographical locations. We had no problems with their forwarding options either. The pricing is right too.

Pros

Extremely affordable. Allows you to purchase multiple numbers with ease

Cons

User interface design for more IT savvy individuals. It can seem a bit intimidating at first for the average lay person to navigate the interface. Plus that options that are geared for more complex set ups that would require a more extensive knowledge in the area of IT
