With integration into our primary business apps, we're able to send text messages programmatically, make robo calls, use disposable phone numbers... The best part of the products that Twilio offers is that they all work consistently, and they provide feedback when they don't. It just works! Pros It's ease of use and developer documentation are best in class. Cons It would be amazing if SMS shortcodes we're cheaper, but that's not Twilio's fault. Pros This api works great for sending text messages. We use it for alerting when things aren' going well. Setting up the api was super simple, and integrating it with our codebase was easy enough. Cons No complaints really, with free trial didn't require you to verify each number you want to text before they can receive texts. Pros With Twilio the value lies in how much you can customize your communications and how integratable it is with other systems. By far the best we've worked with. Cons The UX/UI for navigating the web app and setting up your customizations and integrations via their API is not very intuitive. Just not as friendly as I would like for how often we update rules. Pros \- Twilio saved us a lot of money as it allowed us to build an internal system and replace expensive third-party software. - Twilio is very reasonably priced - Incredible diverse functions and options. Nearly any case or use I could think of for calling/texting I was able to find documentation for. - The programmable call was easy to use and implement with few lines of code. - The debugging system on the twilio website was really helpful!
