### "Dial Twilio to add telephony to your application"

We used Twilio as part of our SaaS enterprise business application to do voice signature/ gather consent via an automated call, do short polling via voice and get consent via text message.

Pros

Twilio makes adding telephone based interactions - call/ SMS etc... to an application dead simple. No hardware or software to install - just APIs and you pay for what you use and nothing more.

Cons

At times documentation has not been found to keep pace with the functionality. That is just a minor irritant.

Twilio along with Zapier have never failed us and its pricing is really good for the services we use.

Pros

The API integration of twilio makes it easy for our business to operate and use the automation solutions provided by zapier.

Cons

The dashboard used to be a bit confusing when we started using the product. However after a couple of days I get its logic.

Using Twilio's APIs is really easy and the cost structures surrounding their APIs are user-friendly considering the fact that it's on a pay as you go, model.

Cons

While doing registrations is an easy process. Getting verified to use the services can take quite some time.

Twilio has hugely improved our range of communication with prospects and students. Texting from Salesforce using the Twilio integration also allows us to keep track of our communication effectively. I would definitely recommend Twilio to anyone. That said, in my experience, it can take some time to work through the set-up process, and you’ll want to set aside plenty of time to make sure things are working well. With great power, unfortunately, comes a lot of complication.

Pros

\- Twilio offers lots of options for managing communication with customers. - Twilio is deep, and deeply customizable. - Extensive documentation and training helps get inexperienced users started. - Twilio integrates well with other platforms we use.

Cons

\- It can be difficult to find your way around the website. - Even with documentation, setting up functions can be confusing.

Reason for choosing Twilio

We considered a range of products, but not very seriously. Twilio’s accessibility, range of functionality, and stability made it an easy choice for us.

Selon mon experience, on a utilisé Twilio afin de résoudre des besoins de télécommunications et messagerie pour différents cas d'utilisation. Ca permet d'atteindre les utilisateurs sur les différents canaux.

Pros

Le plus apprécié dans ce logiciel est que Twilio est l'une des APIs les plus fiables pour envoyer des SMS et des messages sur le marché. Ainsi, concernant les prix, c'est assez compétitifs.

Cons

Le moins apprécié dans ce logiciel est que Twilio manque un peu d'intégration avec quelques services.

### "An easy to use sms sending tool, easy to integrate with other solutions"

Easy to use sms sending solution that integrates well with many third party solutions, for a fair price. Sending of messages is pretty fast, there is log of messaging activity and overall this is a great tool to extend your marketing messaging.

Pros

Twilio is very easy to onboard. Have integrated it with 2 different tools which connected to Twilio and Twilio was sending sms based on data passed by those tools. I can say that account sign up was very easy, the interface was fairly quick to understand, the pricing of sms is fair and support was quick to respond. It does support sending sms for many countries.

Cons

When there is some error with the sms sending (due to integration issues or other), the errors are not very intuitive and may take some time to nail out the issue. But otherwise the tool has worked great.

### "Perfect tool for building your own in app communication system"

It was definitely great!

Pros

We built our inapp communication system which is extensively used by our clients to reach out to their clients through sms, text messages and calls via our app. As a developer I loved the light weight apis twilio provides along with amazing sets of documentations, that building all the features with twilio were smooth. They provide amazing options to track all the events throughout the process with events and callbacks, making the debugging process really easy.

Cons

They do not have much of documentations for the emerging language Golang :(

I've been using Twilio for years, and don't see a time I'll ever be without them. Valuable platform and tools.

Pros

I'm not a "coder" and Twilio makes it relatively easy for non-coders to provision phone numbers at a reasonable price and then direct those phone numbers in a variety of customizable ways. Now, with their addition of their Flow Studio, it's making it even easier for non-coding but tech-savvy people to truly control their communications for phone numbers, phone calls and even SMS messaging.

Cons

There have been challenges with getting decent phone numbers in some areas, and some of the flows are difficult to troubleshoot and make function without errors.

Overall use the api and setting up was a peace of cake, the subscription price and the option to create custom project for the client was great and watch how to use it thru a tutorial was not longer then 5 min, my client was conform with the integration of sending SMS and MMS to his customer and it did not required additional hardware.

Pros

You can either setup a new project with their own tool or just create your project on your own language programming of your preference, using the api is very easy and you can create the necessary tools to customize and ready to use for the end user, in my case I stored and encrypted withing the database, and explain the end user the price this company use and is not that expensive, it doesn't required additional hardware to use. only internet and is ready to go.

Cons

There limited Hispanic countries when I tried but I see the list is still expanding, for the moment my specific country was not yet available, so I have to use the USA number which the client was not that happy about it, but agree to use until our country was available.

Reason for choosing Twilio

Other products did not have a intuitive API to use.

It has been up and down. I love the ease of purchasing a number but building apps and flows is not my strong suit, however, you have to learn to do it if you want to use the service without a third-party app. I really think if they made their own easy-to-use apps, that people would increase usage tremendously.

Pros

I was excited to integrate phone numbers into my CRM.

Cons

I switched CRMs and the porting process and other aspects became very complicated. It took a couple of months.

I like that it integrates with our CMR and that we can created canned SMS texts to send out.

Cons

Although it’s great that it integrates with our CMR, I’m not able to have my texts connect with my tickets under supervisor/admin responsibilities.

Our software product did not have Messaging so Twilio filled in that gap in a couple of days

Pros

Excellent API Set, outgoing and incoming Messages with SMS and WhatsApp. We used Twilio to quickly add a Messaging component to our base application. Very inexpensive

Cons

As for any API Setup you need to be a programmer to do this. Twilio has a messaging dashboard, but we are programmers so we went straight to the APIs

Me gustó la calidad de la aplicación en cuanto a sonido y video. Ofrece muy buenas soluciones para el envió de sms, que en nuestro caso es lo que estábamos buscando. El precio es asequible si la vas a utilizar mucho y tienes gran volumen de demanda.

Cons

En nuestro caso y para el poco volumen que manejamos, nos echó para atrás el precio.

It's a business system with crap support

Pros

It works when it works. It crashes and doesn't work

Cons

They updated their system, you have to hoop jump to catch up. You're down and waiting in line for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks we are notified they had a system error and we have to reapply and wait 2 weeks again

Pros

The best product to send an SMS notification to the end user is Twilio. Always the goto product if there is an functionality to send SMS notification. I am an RPA developer and used twilio in lot of processes which is working like a charm!! I know aprat from SMS service they provide lot more, will update this review once i get chance to work / implement their other services.

Cons

I have not seen anything to dislike in my experience.

We were able to monitor phone calls to improve customer service and employee training

Pros

We use the call recording component of Twilio to record inbound customer service, sales, and support calls. We had the recording integrated with our website via the specialty phone numbers that we put on site. This gave us tremendous insight into our customer experience process. I can't speak to the implementation part since it was handled by our website provider, but using it was very simple.

Cons

Since we utilized the client side integration, I can't speak much to the native Twilio functionality. Everything that came through on our end was great. I think I would have preferred the native Twilio features, however, to have more flexibility with how we manage our calls.

I absolutely love that twilio provides new users with enough free credits to buy multiple numbers of their choice and use them for incoming and outgoing calls and messages for months

Cons

There’s nothing I dislike about twilio they are just amazing at what they do but if they had live customer support it would have been even more better

I'm very happy with Twilio and would recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable way to communicate via phone or text. The pricing is fair and the customer service is excellent.

Pros

This is a fantastic service at a reasonable price. Twilio is an excellent solution for establishing a phone communication infrastructure and sending SMS messages.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that Twilio doesn't offer a way to send MMS messages, but that's not a big deal for me.

Pros

One of the best VoIP providers for SIP trunking which offers very good value for money.

Cons

I am a little disappointed that lately, we needed to migrate some of our numbers from Twilio to other providers, as Twilio no longer supports phone numbers from some countries that they have been providing before. But at least we could quite easily transfer affected numbers from them to other VoIP provider (that also support SIP trunking, but does not have such good prices).

Overall it is a great platform and gives variety of services for messaging, text, voice etc. API's for according to business requirement. Most interesting part is that all are customizable.

Pros

I have suggested this tool to many of our clients and they get very great response and business through this. It has the feature of voice, watsapp, mail and many more API for your business requirement.

Cons

Somehow, Its pricing is too high compared to other existing platform in the market. It has also some limitations over voice API's.
