Pros: Positive features of this software include: user-friendly survey development, SROI dashboard with real-time capacity, descriptive statistics for SROI factors, and the capacity to handle high traffic for software users and survey data.

Cons: Poor reporting capacity without help from Sametrica consultant, only offers descriptive statistical analysis (no way to measure or account for validity or reliability from available software analyses), export features are compatible with excel but organization of data requires extensive time to parse, clean, and organize data for coherent translations for larger surveys, and developers appear to still be learning about reporting practices in terms of foundational structuring of content and reporting formatting.

Overall: Sametrica is developing into a useful resource for SROI software and reporting. Their human capacity to grow and respond to customer needs is exceptional where quality of product is limited. As such, the quality of software has improved markedly over time and continues to improve exponentially due to their willingness to listen, learn, and manage challenges to their product. No doubt the software will improve as their outstanding consulting and customer service skills offer a solid foundation to heighten awareness of challenges and inspire further nuanced development of the software.

Pros: The team at Sametrica was fantastic. They worked closely with us to learn the software, understand the logic model builder, make decisions on assumptions and ultimately provide us with a qualitative and quantitative report on our program. Services included use of the software, fantastic customer support and surveys with our stakeholders.

Cons: This was a first shot at measuring health and safety outcomes for the government and for Sametrica. Following the money to measure the social return on investment was the easier part. We did have difficulty getting quantitative gains/reductions in H&S knowledge.

Overall: I was excited to find a Canadian company in this space, it certainly helped with procurement. The entire team from the CEO to the support staff were kind and very knowledgeable. They delivered on time, on budget and met all of our expectations.
