While we replaced the Accounting piece for a more enterprise capable system, we still use it for some of our smaller entities. We do still use it for Construction estimating and it has performed excellent. Pros It is a good product for small and medium businesses. It has been around for a long time (I think close to 30 years) and has excellent US based support. This is one of the few softare solutions left where you can actually speak to a real person when you need help. Everyone I have had contact with at Sage has been great. Cons There aren't too many things. The one thing is that there is not a good hosted (SAAS) solution for Accounting and Estimating. We use a ZTNA VPN and it works pretty well, but it is slower to open and perform some tasks. The customer service has always been great once you are talking with someone. Cons Some Functions are Outdated, the chat system isn't as huge of a help. You can spend a while on Chat, and they will keep sending you knowledge base documents. If you can't get it resolved then they escalate the issue to a real person. Pros The reporting is great for seeing bottom line on each individual project. Customer support is always great quick to respond and resolve any issues. Cons Being able to change items easily without having to call support. When entering job cost against an invoice and misread someone writing for coding and than its such process to change things.
