Unlike many other subscription services, Videobolt give no notice of taking a payment - therefore robbing you of the opportunity to decide whether you want to continue for another year before taking a chunk of money from you bank account. They then refuse to refund the money even if you tell them you want to cancel on the same day as the funds are taken. Pros It works pretty well. Some of the templates are quite attractive and the interface is quite slick and easy to use. Cons They give no notice of taking an annual subscription payment thus failing to provide the opportunity to review need before they take a payment from your account - and they refuse to refund when you request it. They lie about how many credits you get and do not make it clear. State a MONTHLY price and display YEARLY credits to make it look like you get that amount of credits per month but its per year. They mislead you and they know they do as they wont write (per year) next to the credits because they know people wont buy it. Then when you complain they don't listen and lie to Paypal when trying to get refund. DO NOT BUY. Not nice people to deal with at all. They could learn a thing or two from people like Apple and Amazon as their customer service is non existent. Con artists. Pros Using the premade video templates is really intuitive. If you find one you like, it's simple to upload and edit your own clips and icons. It incorporates them really well into the video. Cons There is not an exhaustive selection of templates. If they are the reason you are getting the software, check that there are the ones you want first. It may seem like a lot of options but many of them are similar. And when doing anything more than very basic editing, you quickly find yourself feeling limited. Reasons for choosing Videobolt It offered better pricing for the amount of videos I would be making. I would have to make many more videos for other products to be worthwhile.
