Pros: WhatsApp is nothing short of a lifeline in the modern technological age. I cannot even begin to point out the ease of having this software.

During my student life, I traveled abroad for attending conferences and calling home to keep everyone updated about my safety and well being was a herculean task. But once I was introduced to WhatsApp it made my life so easy. The convenience of using WhatsApp is what garners most of my appreciation. It was so easy to handle that even my mom who isn't tech-savvy could easily use. So we could stay connected even when I was abroad. The mobile call charges those days and even today are through the roof. In such a scenario WhatsApp is definitely a savior.

Also, I am a big fan of the WhatsApp feature that shows the details about when a person was last active and the details of the message being delivered. Because that way we know when to expect an answer. Because of the time difference between where I stay and where my family is, I generally try to check on WhatsApp for the last logged time of parents' activities before calling them.

Also, the benefit of merging/switching between numbers but retaining the same WhatsApp account is another plus. Because if one switches an account he or she can still stay connected to his friends /family/acquaintances without having to go through the trouble of retaining the previous number.

Cons: I was never very successful in using the WhatsApp data backup service. It did not work out well for me.

Pros: WhatsApp is super easy to use. It is an App that anyone can learn to use within minutes and is for the whole family to use as well. It' s great to keep in keep in touch with family and friends especially when they are long distance it is much easier to talk to them through here and video chat as well. Also it's great when we have to talk to a client that is out of the country, it is easier to use WhatsApp now. This keeps us connected to everyone no matter who they are in our contacts, family, friends or a business contact we are never to far to be reached. We can either chat through texting or just a video call away and also love the fact that we can make groups to send our messages with, this is a cool feature that makes it easier and fun at the same time.

Cons: WhataApp is great overall but if I had to say something I liked the least it would be that sometimes depending on the country were the person is at the quality of the video signal sometimes doesn't come in too well while we are in a video chat.

Overall: Using WhatsApp has been a great experience. This app has made it easier to stay in touch with family and friends either in our daily lives but especially with those that are out of the country and we can't see otherwise. The ease of this app is great, just start texting like normally and that's it and also the video chat is simple and great. This feature keeps us connected to our family and I think it might be used the most because it makes us feel like we are there with them. It makes us feel connected. Another great feature that I love and use often too is the group feature, it's great, easy and fun all at the same time. Overall WhatsApp is a great app to keep us connected to our family and friends.

Pros: 1. For connection: whatsapp is a social media app which allows friend, family and loved ones to be able to communicate with each other all over the world as long as you have the individual's whatsapp number

2. Media sharing: through whatsapp, photos, videos, documents could be shared by loved or friends with each other

3. Easy to use: the creators of the whatsapp app has made it so easy to use that children are even able to use the app because of its user friendliness.

4. It can be used for advertisement and business: whatsapp is a tool for business owners to reach hundreds of people to advertise and showcase their business and all this could be done at the comfort of their homes.

Cons: 1. Sharing of false information : whatsapp has become a tool in which people use to pass wrong or false informations as this informations are not cross checked or don't have any negative impact on the individual passing them. Some of these messages could to panic and chaos

2. addition from strangers: anyone can add you as a friend or add you to groups without your permission as long as they have your number.

3. Constant update: one could notice that whatsapp constantly asks for individuals to update the app. This update costs mb which is bought by money and most times, the update isn't much different from the previous version.

Overall: It can be seen that though whatsapp has its cons, the benefits outweighs it. I use whatsapp to communicate with my friends and family. I always feel like they are close to me whenever I chat or video call with them. I have been using whatsapp for over 4 years and it has been really helpful to me.

Pros: WhatsApp is easy to install and learn how to use, even for someone who is both not very technical and dyslexic, like me. Also, for someone with international colleagues, friends, or family, it is a means of 'texting' and 'messaging', as well as video chatting, between phones without extra cost or stress. I am an American, who was educated in England, so I have many friends and a goddaughter abroad. I also have colleagues abroad. WhatsApp has proved a fast and a helpful means to keep in regular contact and maintain long distance ties. It feels more like conversation than e-mail and I find WhatsApp both easier to navigate and use to satisfaction than other private message systems such as messenger or the direct message features connected to some of the social networks, such as Instagram or Twitter. WhatsApp also makes private photo sharing very uncomplicated and convenient. These features have assisted me in business because I work as a researcher, writer, and editor, who regularly has to make contact with overseas individuals, so while e-mail often serves to open correspondence or further discussion on lengthy matters, being able to 'text' and 'video call' without added expense or difficulty regularly proves quicker and easier for interchanging on some topics.

Cons: The messages being marked as sent, delivered, and seen is in some ways a mixed blessing because while it can be helpful, it can also become a little addictive to monitor that each message passes through the three stages. This also means that colleagues are able to see if you have seen their message and taken time to reply, which is not as such a problem, but it is less than ideal as it has potential to cause irritation, frustration, or somehow put the working relationship at a disadvantage.

Overall: Overall, my experience of WhatsApp has been positive.

Pros: Their new end-to-end encryption is an amazing feature that has now made using WhatsAPP the safest and most reliable way to message, send files, make phone calls (video and voice), and leave audio messages. The ability to know when someone has last been online is something I don't know what I'd do without. The ability to call anyone....anywhere ...in the world using their VOIP technology that is BETTER quality and convenience than the using my paid for SIP/DID phone lines is beyond fantastic. The ability to have the Windows 10 Pro Desktop app sync with my Android Phone App is a lifesaver, as I don't need to "finger-type" all my messaging, plus have the massive added benefit of sending files directly from my desktop computer, as well. Lastly, the GROUP feature offered has saved my life so many times for so many reasons...it truly is an amazing feature they have developed!

Cons: There needs to be a way to DELETE messages (or whatever) sent to be more than 70 minutes (which is what it is the maximum allowed now). There is no rational nor logical reason why they designed it this way, and everyone should have the ability to delete anything at any time so that the receiver(s) do NOT see it, if someone decides to "change their mind" at ANY point in time AFTER something was sent!

Overall: Incredible and could never imagine life without WhatsAPP to an extreme degree!

Pros: Whatsapp is a light data communication platform with fully developed API with other functions of your phone including contacts, files, gallery, audio, etc.

Talk about PROs, there are a lot of them when it comes to whatsapp. First off, I think the "delete for everyone" option is a wonderful addition to the update that came earlier this year. And then the Backup and restore option allows me switch phones many times without losing my messages. This cloud platform helps me access my messages as far back as 2017 because of its integration with google drive.

The blue marks for read receipt is cool as well. I use it to measure the reach of my content especially in group chats.

The Mute feature helps me keep noisemakers at bay (lol)

One other feature I like is the fact that when broadcast messages are sent, it only gets to those who have you as a contact, irrespective of the fact whether they are your contacts or not. This helps to prevent spam marketing messages.

Site.. usage in my country and project

Compatibility across all platforms. I have used whatsapp seamlessly on windows, iOS, Android, and web.

Free voice and video call helps to save extra roaming costs you would normally incur when making international calls. As a matter of fact, these calls cost next to nothing, no matter how long they linger.

Control and Privacy: It feels good to know that I can regulate who sees my status updates because some times I may have need to post certain content that some segments of my contact

Cons: No screen sharing during video chat; Maximum of 3 persons in a group call; No restrictions or parental controls. There should be a safety catch for stopping porn or lewd content in the case of children; NO Video call on whatsapp web; Forwarding messages to only 5 contacts per time is clumsy. I once had to send messages to about 80 contacts. You can better imagine how long and how much effort it took to cover that number 5 at a time.

Whatsapp takes up quite some space in your phone memory. I regularly go to Files, Internal Storage, Whatsapp, Database, to clear all the irrelevant cache files down there.

I urge the developers to cancel notification of deleted messages because it is not be too good for privacy. I deleted the message because I did not want you to see it. When, you get the notification, you will start probing into the content of the deleted message.

Overall: With all said and done, Whatsapp remains the preferred social communication tool that offers you so much value for less. You just can't be my really close pal if you are not on Whatsapp. Otherwise, how do you expect me to communicate with you?

I actually did a study of instant messaging as my undergraduate thesis and WhatsApp was an application i drew most of my samples from. It has been useful to me in educational, social, and professional contexts.

Go ahead and download it for............FREE!!

Pros: I like how easy it is to use it and it offers everything you need for keeping in touch with others: write messages, send photos, leave a voice message or have a video call.

I also like that you can make groups. This is very useful, as it saves you time: you write in the group and all the people that are involved in that project are getting the information.

It really helps me to save money by not making these calls using my mobile provider. I just need an internet connection and that's it.

Cons: If you want to look for some info that you wrote or got some time ago, you have to scroll down through all the messages that you wrote with that person.

I have a hard time finding how can I change some settings, like people not seeing me online or seeing that I got and read their message.

I gave my old mobile to an acquaintance (give it as a present). I logged out and thought that that was enough. When she logged in (with her credentials), she also had there my conversations with my contacts (I found out later that it happened because I chose to do a back-up for the info, on that phone). Some things were very private and if this happens to you and your phone gets into the wrong hands, it is really unpleasant (to say at least). I think that they should work on this thing because this is really unacceptable. Usually, if you log-out from an app and somebody else use the same app, on the same device, but logging-in with his/her info, the person doesn't get also your info.

Overall: In general, I am very satisfied with the app. It does its purpose. The quality of the talks depends of course on the internet connection, but this has nothing to do with the app.

I use it both for professional and personal purpose. Actually, the entire family uses it (grandparents also).

I don't know how safe is the info you share there, but what is safe on the internet, nowadays. Depends on you to decide what to write and how to write.

Pros: Last year I went to Paris and Italy to attend a wedding and visit a friend. I found out that my phone plan allowed unlimited data usage but 0 phone calls would be covered and 0 texts via messages. I looked into apps and discovered that I could use WhatsApp to communicate with everyone. WhatsApp allowed us to all communicate with each other and make sure that everyone was picked up from the airport, feeling well, and weren't loss. Given how it is free and popular amongst a lot of people, it was not difficult to convince everyone to either download it or use it for the event. I liked that I was able to communicate in either a group text format or a single format. These different formats also allowed us to make sure that certain wedding gifts remained a surprise, and that other issues could be attended to privately. I also liked that it was easy to copy and paste things into a translator and send each other images. Sending images was super cool and important among the groups and allowed ease of meeting up and enjoying our surroundings. I like that the sofrware allowed us to do all this overseas without any extra cost invovled and any extra hassle. I even got in contact with my hotel that way!

Cons: I think that the menu and area listing people to talk to could be a bit more intuitive, I don't like it when I have to search for things or for help for too long. I think it would be helpful if everything was laid out more clearly. My whole thing when it comes to technology is that it has to be made for someone who has never used a phone before, because then everyone can use it, accessibility options would be key. However these are many only complaints, I think in general it is a pretty great software that is doing a great service for the public and I Recommend it to most of my friends with big data plans and lower phone / texting plans. It is very great for that! I like to save moeny and that's all that matters.

Overall: Overall, I found whatsapp to be a life saver when traveling over seas, when trying to talk with a large group of people, and with trying to save as much money as possible. I think that my overall experience was very positive! I think that this app has a lot potential to become number 1! I try to make sure all of my friends download it.

Pros: WhatsApp is probably the most common instant messaging and communication tool. This is why I prefer to use this tool - as also most of my friends or colleagues widely use it. The best feature about messaging is that it shows the status of the message (delivered or not/read or not). Although it makes you frustrated sometimes (not responding after message is read), it is a good feature. Replying to a specific message is really good. Another good feature is creating message groups. You can easily crate a group, select members and give admin rights to selected ones. Audio and video call features are working properly. Especially audio call feature works properly even with limited internet speeds - also data usage is limited. However video call need to be improved. Cloud management is good; so you can reach old messages.

Cons: Video call feature needs to be improved. video quality is not the best when compared to other programs WeChat or Skype. You need optimum internet speed in order to have a good visual. Translate feature needs to be added to received messages. Photo format when taking photo with WhatsApp is different than taking photo with Camera app. Limiting group attenders is sometimes good; but difficulty if you want to mage communities. You need to delete multimedia; as it becomes bulky sometimes. Storage can become an issue, if you receive too many video or pictures...

Overall: In overall, I'm happy with WhatsApp. There are some features which needs improvement, e.g. translate feature, group management or video call quality. However it is widely used; so preferred by most users. Interface is not complicated. User friendly app and easy to use. Recommended.

Pros: -Free

You'd think that carriers would have implemented group chat as a standard feature but sadly they haven't. Using WhatsApp you can communicate with people from all over the world via messages, calls, video calls etc. They even allow for files to be sent over WhatsApp. And the best of all: they have a great group chat function.

-Reliable

In all the years I've used WhatsApp I've had almost no problems with it. It works even when the reception is spotty.

-Encrypted

One of the best features and reasons why WhatsApp might be considered by companies is that all WhatsApp communication is end-to-end encrypted. This means that nobody (especially WhatsApp) can snoop in.

-Uses little data

This is partly connected to reliable but WhatsApp works in areas where the reception isn't as good as usually and it does not use a lot of data- something to consider if you're from a country where data is expensive.

-WhatsApp Web

You can use Whatsapp on one phone, but you may also use it through a web browser: however, this only works when your phone is also connected to the internet, because all communication still goes through your phone

Cons: I am honestly unable to think of a con for WhatsApp- most of the time I don't notice it at all because it does what it should do and it does that well. I can only recommend it!

Overall: Given that my line of work requires constant availability and responsiveness, WhatsApp is the perfect tool to communicate, especially when a lot of the team members are on trips across the country.

Pros: I like most that WhatsApp is very simple, easy to install on cell phone, and widely used. We are international technology company with multiple offices in US, Europe and Asia. We have leaned that WhatsApp is widely used in China. A lot of applications are simply can not be accessed in China. There is a big time difference between US and Europe and China. The fact that the application is widely accepted in China really makes our life easy. All employees of our Chinese and Hong Kong offices are on WhatsApp. We can get replies from them right away. With huge time difference with China, it is very important. We can send short messages or start full conversation. This helps to avoid huge costs of international telephone bills and allows to solve problems right away. When I send email internationally, I can simply check on WhatsApp if person is available and exchange a few clarifying comments. I believe that WhatsApp is simply irreplaceable for our international communication, results in great efficiency and cost savings. Additionally, I like opportunity to see some pictures and exchange comments with my international colleagues using WhatsApp.

Cons: There is nothing that I don't like about WhatsApp. I see that WhatsApp is very widely used in China and Asia - almost everyone in China is on WhatsApp. I believe that the software developers should focus to spread this application more locally in US. While a lot of US people use WhatsApp, I believe that such great communication tool can be used even more and developers should think about adding more features into it.

Overall: My company has head office in US and multiple European and Asian operations. Our shareholders reside in China and Hong Kong. We formally adopted WhatsApp for all our international communications, especially with Asia (China). Our employees also use WhatsApp for communication with US and European offices. Since we have multiple urgent communications with our Chinese shareholders and employees, our employees are normally on WhatsApp every day (if not, every hour). The overall experience is very positive as it allows us to save costs of international phone calls, communicate efficiently outside of business hours (as necessary because of huge time differences between US, Asia and Europe), and always keep connected with international offices and during extensive business trips.

Pros: WhatsApp has long been an extremely competent instant messaging app, which improved significantly with the introduction of end-to-end encryption.

The UI is simple and clean and it is available on every major platform (and some not-so-major ones). The web and desktop versions work well and are great for typing longer messages or viewing and sharing media. They also help to mitigate the restriction of only having the app itself installed on one device simultaneously.

The audio and video calling works well and is relatively economical on data.

I have no complaints with the general operation of the app.

Cons: The backup function (very useful!) occasionally hangs and refuses to back up despite the correct settings and a working Internet connection.

I believe it may be a security feature, but only being able to use WhatsApp on one device at a time feels limiting and can be frustrating for users with multiple devices. The web and desktop versions work by connecting to your phone and thus don't work if it has no Internet connection. This, I suspect, is for the same reason but it equally frustrating.

The yearly 99p subscription disappeared a while ago, but on balance I think I would much rather pay that than have the company be owned by Facebook.

Overall: At work, we use a number of groups to coordinate with multiple offices around the globe in a quick and informal manner. It allows sharing of photos and videos for general distribution and fosters a sense of community among the team, even when they are on different continents.

It also lends itself well to supporting customers, especially for shorter queries when a simple answer can be quickly typed on a phone.

I also use WhatsApp personally and have found it to be my favourite instant messaging app.

Pros: It is free, you can download it in the virtual store of the operating system that has the device without having to pay any kind of fee. It does not charge for the services it offers: you can send messages and make unlimited calls without any problem. It is only necessary to have an Internet connection. One of the favorable aspects is that it does not show advertisements. This represents a great advantage from different points of view: the platform that other messaging services do not have to load this advertising content, is enjoyable for users who do not like to be bombarded with information that may not interest us. Messages, images and audios sent within a chat are protected with end-to-end encryption.

Cons: Compared with other similar applications in WhatsApp WhatsApp requires you must share the phone number and there are people who prefer to keep this information private. Messages, voice memos and other multimedia files can take up a lot of space in the phone's memory. By taking up space in the phone memory, the application can slow down the performance of other functions of the device causing them to stop unexpectedly, which is uncomfortable in most cases. If the coverage of the cellular network is poor, there will be a considerable delay in the transmission of data, a situation that does not occur when using a WiFi connection.

Overall: Through the so-called Groups, the application allows the diffusion of messages for specific groups of marketing or sales, likewise by the Lists of Dissemination where they do not interact in a general way but individually with the supplier; These advantages can potentiate any business initiative given the current dynamics of Social Networks. Compared with other applications of instant messaging is the most widely used worldwide, which is to consider at the time of an advertising campaign or sale. Recently a version called Whatsapp Bussines has come out that under certain conditions we can edit our profile, check the statistics, place our business on the map, add a business schedule, write a description of the company, offer an email and detail our website.

Pros: WhatsApp is definitely my favorite application to communicate. From my personal point of view, there is no easier and simpler application to communicate than WhatsApp. It is completely free to use and registration process does not take so much of time. You have a working number, you are good to go! I use WhatsApp daily for making both formal and informal conversations. I love how fast the app works. The app keeps updating its features very frequently and it is very good. I usually make calls via WhatsApp and I am very satisfied with its quality. I very often need to communicate with my colleagues at once, and to do so we have created a WhatsApp group chat where everyone can text and share any information. The idea of group chatting is amazing and it saves a lot of time when you have to share an information with multiple people at once. That is why it is my favorite feature of WhatsApp.

Cons: When I think of cons of WhatsApp one thing comes to my mind immediately: the quality of the files I sent via WhatsApp. I sometimes have to share a lot of files on WhatsApp, such as pictures and videos. Although the original quality of the pictures and videos are very good, they will not be as good once they are delivered to the people that you want to share them with. It might be helpful if you want to preserve some of your mobile data, however, from my personal experience, it is most of the time unnecessary since I usually have a very good Wi-Fi connection and I want to share very good quality files with my colleagues. I would like WhatsApp to improve this feature and at least give us options and ask us if we want to share things with their full quality or not.

Pros: Whatsapp is integrated with Mobile Number as mode of connecting with people, you don't have to start asking people for their username; once you have their contact save on your mobile phone, they will appear on your WhatsApp list.

Another pros is the ability to Mute a chat or a person. There are options to mute a disputing group for 8 hours, 1 week or 1 year max, and easily unmute the chat anytime.

There are more features that are widely used, the likes of Audio Call, Video Calls and Voice Note, which you can't get enough of. They are not a gimmick because people loves using these features.

There is option to change Background chat, set customize notifications tones for chats, share pictures, videos and documents.

Group-ing, one of the best feature of the app. Perfect for a Webinar or discussion zone. The app allows up to 200 users in one group. One can even create a Family group with this.

Saving the best for last, best part of this app is the Encryption (Privacy) feature. Chats are End-to-End encrypted, which means that chats are not visible to a third party (not even to Whatsapp).

Whatsapp works best on iOS, thanks to the Amazing gestures, which gives access to use some options easily at the chat screen.

Cons: While the App is my favorite, there are some cons, which I look forward to have available on the app.

More Mute Options: There should be a customizable Mute options, the app only give options of 8 hours, 1 week and 1 year. Sometimes there is needs to mute for 1 day or 2 days but the option isn't available.

Animated Stickers: Even though there are stickers available on the app, but it's not fun like that of FB Messenger, Whatsapp stickers are still while it's animated on Messenger, making it more fun to use.

Online Status: Online status can't be hidden from contacts, there is only option to hide last seen. Once you're online, they'll know.

Overall: I have been using the Whatsapp since 2010. Hands down, it is the best Instant Messaging app and most popularly used in my country.

Sometimes, it's feels addictive, found myself opening the app even when there is no message, which makes the new status features a cool features to pass time; depending on your contacts, you may find it interesting as people share pictures and videos.

Overall, the app is great, features are amazing, it functions quite well and no regret using the app to far. Gives you your privacy and let you have full control on your chats. You can't go wrong with it.

Pros: WhatsApp is an open source software which falls under communication applications category. Using WhatsApp Users can have both private chats and group chats where users are allowed to chat with multiple users simultaneously. Also WhatsApp provides sharing image files, audio files and video files. Using WhatsApp users can make voice calls as well as video calls across the world at a very low rate.

When a user's is chatting with someone using WhatsApp if the user needs to specifically reply some message from the other side user can simply tap and hold the relevant message and type the reply for the relevant message. This technique is very much useful in group chats when there are many people chatting simultaneously and as they can specify the replies to certain messages it reduces most of the confusions that may occur. If something irrelevant is send through a messages users are given a chance to delete those messages before the other person reads them.

Cons: In order to use WhatsApp users always need a proper network connection. Without internet WhatsApp ones not work and if the connection is not strong messages may not be delivered and downloading images , videos keep lagging ; also voice calls and video calls gets disconnected due to the poor network connection. As the calls taken through WhatsApp cannot be tapped by any government or any organization. Because of that criminals and terrorists tend to use WhatsApp as a communication medium for their unethical activities. Although the users are given a chance to have group chats only the admin of the group is given the privilege to add members to the group. And the number of participants of the group chat is limited to 256.

Overall: I have been using Whatsapp many years ago. I recommended this software.

Pros: WhatsApp is the most used instant messaging App in the world. This is particularly used to exchange texts with anyone using this application. I have been using WhatsApp mainly for the personal communication but I do use it sometimes for a follow up with my team when I am on a vacation or out on an official trip. It works on all kind of mobile devices and even the desktop version of WhatsApp is outstanding in case you spend most of your time on PC or laptop and do not have time to view your phone often.

In addition to the basic feature of sending texts, it also enables voice calls and video calls. However, you need to be approximately high-speed internet for a good quality voice/video call. I have been using WhatsApp since it was launched and I have seen and used all features of this application. I did try using other applications that serves same purpose but none of them was as good as WhatsApp.

It informs you if a message has been delivered to the other person and if he/she has viewed your message, which is defined by 'Blue Tick' but one cannot always rely on it, as it is an optional feature. It has a chat back up option, which once set backs up all your communication in a timely fashion.

In addition to the traditional texts exchange, it also enables sending of pictures, videos, location and contact number.

Cons: I have experienced following limitations to this App so far:

1. The size of the file shared through WhatsApp matters as it doesn't allows the smooth sharing of a large file

2. The video/voice quality needs extremely fast internet else the you would feel the lag in the audio and video throughout the conversation

3. WhatsApp depreciates the quality of the image shared through this platform

Overall: WhatsApp has been an immensely useful tool for me so far and I can vouch that even though WhatsApp has some competitors in the market but it has been the most successful one.

Pros: WhatsApp is an application, which needs no introduction as it runs and available on every mobile phone possible. It makes it extremely easy to communicate from anywhere in the world. You only need access to internet.

In also allows voice call and video call but they work best only when you have strong internet connection. The basic texting can work even at a moderate internet speed. I tried using other applications in the market as well but none of them works as better as WhatsApp. I have seen WhatsApp improving their features since they launched. They have features like adding a WhatsApp story as your status and you have so much better control over the privacy and protection settings now.

WhatsApp web is also a great option to go for if you are working desktop most of the times and does not have to time to look into your messages on phone. It helps in sharing locations, which is 100% accurate most almost all time except if you are using apple phones. The locations identified with apple maps is just very confusing. You can store and share the contact numbers easily.

Cons: WhatsApp has few restrictions, which should be eliminated next. The ability to share only 30 pictures at once can be time-consuming sometimes when you want to share travel pictures on a family group. In addition, WhatsApp always decreases the quality of the image when sent through this application. The chat back up process can be improved by doing back up at regular intervals instead of doing it manually every time. There is limitation on the size of the file shared through WhatsApp.

Overall: I have been using WhatsApp since it has been released and I cannot think of any other applications than WhatsApp for communication. I use it religiously mostly for personal contacts and it works fine for me even internationally. All I need is the good internet connection.

Pros: I use WhatsApp religiously on a daily basis to stay in contact with my friends and family. One of the prominent features I really enjoy about this app is the accessibility to all my contacts who have the WhatsApp application downloaded. I am able to create groups and delete groups with the same or different contacts from my list- something that is really convenient especially when planning a birthday party for a friend who already belongs to one of your existing groups. Groups can also be personalized by adding a group icon that represents the members of the group, or you can even rename the group so for the next time you need to send a message to a certain group of friends you can do so by recalling the group name as opposed to searching for which members are in what group. Finally, although WhatsApp is a free application, there are NO ADVERTISEMENTS that pop up while the app is in use.

Cons: WhatsApps although it is a really great app, does have some flaws. One of the flaws I noted with WhatsApp is the inability to unsend messages. With the most recent update of the application, you are able to delete individual messages in a group or a single conversation, but it will leave a little notification notifying the other members that a message was deleted from the conversation. This kind of defeats the purpose as others members might wonder then why someone may have deleted messages.

Another issue with WhatsApp is that there is a limitation to the size of the files which can be sent within messages. Within WhatsApp, you cannot send video files larger than 16 MB and/or documents which are larger than 100 MB.

Finally, in order to even function WhatsApp, all your contacts require a contact number. So without a cellphone device, one cannot access WhatsApp unless they have a cellular device number.

Pros: The ubiquity. WhatsApp works on almost every mobile device imaginable so almost everyone has it. This makes it easier to communicate with people.

It stores all information offline on the devices so you don't need to worry about your data being stolen from if ever the WhatsApp servers are breached.

It's blazing fast. Messages come through quickly and there is little to no lag on video or voice calls.

WhatsApp group chats allow users to form communities. Whether it's a family, a club, work, or proffesional community. you're bound to find a group that shares your interests.

In some African countries, WhatsApp data is discounted by mobile internet providers!

Cons: WhatsApp can only be installed on mobile devices. If you want to use it on a computer you need to have it on a mobile device that that is connected to the internet. That's inconvenient in situations where a mobile device isn't immediately available.

WhatsApp needs to be regularly backed up to avoid losing data in the event of your phone or tablet breaking or being stolen.

WhatsApp does not have a function to record calls. Recording calls would be useful where I would want to go over a conversation again, for example, When I have a call where I am given directions to a destination I can listen to the call again. WhatsApp does have voice notes however call recording would still be a useful function.

Information overload. People tend to communicate more on WhatsApp than they typically would on other platforms that have a higher cost or barrier to entry. Sometimes this can be overwhelming.

Overall: I've been using WhatsApp for about 4 years now and it's been a great experience so far.

My favourite thing about WhatsApp is how they strive to make the app work smoothly on most mobile devices. One of my first phones with WhatsApp was an uncommon model, because of that it often had bugs, or needed featured that were device specific. I would email WhatsApp support requesting new features or bug fixes and there was always a software update to address my issues within a few days of submitting the report. On top of that they'd respond to my email to thank me. I hardly submit bug reports anymore but the earlier experience I had with WhatsApp support has stayed strong in my mind.

Pros: WhatsApp is very reliable and it is easy to tell when a recipient has received a message. It is possible to share relatively big files with a good Internet connection, making it possible to skip a few extra steps for the recipient who won't have to exit WhatsApp to download any file. The application is also permissive with its formatting: it is possible to enter bold or italic text for instance and also add extra blank lines in a single message. WhatsApp Web is a killer feature for anybody who works mainly on a desktop as you can then type faster and share files directly from your computer without needing to first send them to the phone. It is also possible to download files sent to you from your computer, making for a unified experience that just works. Being able to delete sent messages on both ends may save one's dignity once or twice too. If you participate in many different chats and/or groups, you can quickly figure out which one occupies too much storage and fix the situation accordingly. On the other hand, you have the ability to send up to 30 pictures at once to fill the recipient's storage, which is quite useful when it is inconvenient to send zip files to a non-savvy user.

Cons: After a while of having the screen turned off on the smartphone, WhatsApp Web somehow disconnects itself even though the mobile application is still running in the background. Also, there is no option to disconnect devices selectively inside the mobile application: one can only log out from all devices at once. There is some flexibility in how one can decide how to backup the data, but it could be better by having the ability to choose specific intervals and being able to backup changes incrementally instead of having to backup everything each time. There is no particularly accessible way to keep a certain number of backups, as they automatically get rotated and replaced by newer backups. Sometimes, it can come in handy to have a very old backup to retrieve deleted information that won't otherwise appear. This would have to be saved manually somewhere else since they get deleted. There is no way to restore only certain chats or file types: it's also all or nothing.

Overall: I have used WhatsApp for keeping up with my personal relationships and for work without ever experiencing any issue in almost five years. To say that WhatsApp is reliable is an understatement. The only instances I have been having trouble were due to my cellphone carrier's bad reception. Even then, messages can be "sent" and will be received once the reception is good enough on your end. Plus, it is always an option to stay connected on WiFi and avoid any pitfall with cellphone reception. With WhatsApp, I was able to maintain a good relationship with my clients: I could send them pictures, PDF files, links, precise locations on a map, audio/video files and more. Even though it is very simple to use, it has never shown its limitations in my regular, daily use. It helped my business thrived by being able to be available at any time for my customers. It feels good to know that it works no matter what, which is why I never felt the need to switch to another software, particularly considering the fact that so many people use WhatsApp as their main communication tool and with good reasons.

Pros: For the sake of the beginners, WhatsApp is a free download real time messaging app mainly built for smart phones. But of course it is cross platform, you can use WhatsApp web app also. You can send texts, images, audio and video via this application. You just need a smart phone and internet connection.

Not only messages you can also make audio and video calls.

You can share your location also. This is 100% accurate.

Also you can share your stories with your contacts.

You can send one message to multiple people at once. This will save your time.

Also you can create groups as you prefer.

The most important thing is, WhatsApp has end to end encryption. So basically your personal data is well secured.

Absolutely this will save you a lot of money for the conversations. You can make hour's long calls for a very low cost.

You can use WhatsApp not only for personal use but also for business purposes. It is professional and very easy to use.

Also it is totally add-free.

It is now supporting GIF and Stickers. So that chatting is very interesting.

You can block any picky user.

You have a lot of privacy options. My favorite one is hiding profile picture from the users not in my contacts.

Cons: WhatsApp calling is not available in some countries.

File size is limited.

Unlike some other social media, you need to share your mobile number to contact someone in WhatsApp.

Overall: I have been using WhatsApp for many years now. I am using this not only for personal communication but also for business purposes. When I worked as a Client Relationship Manager, I have used WhatsApp to communicate with our local and foreign clients. We had group chats including all the stakeholders and it was very easy for everyone. We have shared not only text messages but also files and calls.

Pros: whatsapp is one of the super best communication app, that allows sharing of date, files, photos, recordings with family, friends, work mates and generally everyone including clients.

what i love about whatsapp is that i can easily share information especially photos with members of my team.

most of our work involves gathering evidences, such as photos, calls recording, recording of a client"s information .

whatsapp has made this easier and more convinient because once i get an evidence such as a photo that is alarming i just send it directly to our other team members.

with whatsApp video call life has been made more enjoyable as i can call my family back at home and see their faces which i miss most of the time because they are far.

It allows for privacy as you can choose who views your profile picture, status and about.

Cons: being the most frequent app i use on my phone, there are a few challenges have experienced.

communication from unknown users: once someone manages to get your number they can easily send you messages and voice recording even when you dont know them and you are not interested. they can also add you to unnecessary groups where you may not know anyone, but the best thing about this you can always block them and at times report.

Overall: whatsapp is very great what i love about it is that it is free, you don't have to buy it as long as you have storage you can simply have it.

it is easy to install therefore can be installed faster and communication starts immediately.

whatsapp has enabled me to share some of our company products through my status which has enabled me to get some clients.

clients are able to send me photos and other evidences hence no need to meet them up for collection of such information.

It has enhanced communication between team members.

Pros: WhatsApp has become one of the most popular communication application in the world . With its features like making both audio and video calls, sharing images, videos , updating status it has become more and more popular among the people. WhatsApp is very easy to use. This is also one such advantage of WhatsApp. A user does not have to save contacts for WhatsApp separately . It automatically get the contacts from the phones contact list and create its own contact list with the other users who has installed the app.

Cons: Though WhatsApp has become a major communication partner in day to day life it has been discovered that WhatsApp is very addictive. Specially young population is much fascinated with the features provided by and they have become addicted to the app. To use WhatsApp both the parities need to have installed the app and both the parties need proper network coverage. Unless there is no proper network coverage WhatsApp won't work properly.

Overall: With the peoples need of knowing and gaining more and n=more new information WhatsApp has become more and more popular among the users. Pros: What I love most about this app is that it is so easy to install that my entire family has it downloaded on their phones too. Not to mention, WhatsApp has incredible features! I can call my relatives and visa versa, I can face-time them in real time and I can send and receive photos, which also goes through immediately. I can share and send web links about articles or YouTube videos I like, or I can instant message anyone in my contacts list that also has WhatsApp on their phones if I don't feel like doing face-time. This app is brilliant and it plays a huge part in my day to day life. It keeps me connected to my circle of friends and to my family despite the distances between all of us.

Cons: What I like least about WhatsApp is the fact that I am so readily available. My family members know that they can reach me through this app at all hours of the day and night so I literally have to switch my phone off when I want some peace and tranquility. Also, sometimes I might be driving or be in the middle of a task so I would not have the time to reply to their message straight away, but once I have read the message there is a blue tick next to the message which tells the sender that I have received as well as read the message, so I would have to explain why I didn't respond to them sooner, which has caused a bit of awkwardness in the past.

Overall: What I like most about using WhatsApp is that it is a free app, as long as I have data loaded I am always available for friends and family or even for my business contacts too. I have used this app for three years or more and I have never had a single issue with it. It updates software fast, a few seconds is all it takes and I have the latest emojis installed, which are so fun to use during texting conversations! WhatsApp calls cost only data, so it is a whole lot cheaper than having to use my mobile as contract calls on mobile or even from a landline phone is charged per minute and the cost can climb steep very quickly. WhatsApp works like a charm and the quality of the service is very reliable.

2. Limited amount transferred upto 5000 in payment feature.

3. Battery consumption is more in video calls for the phones ranging below 10000.

4. Very Less filter options for images and video than other chat application.

Overall: Its the best messaging application which i can recommend. Guiding other whatsapp users with sharing location is real problem solving for me which is infact easy to track and share.

Pros: We can create a WhatsApp account with our mobile number. If those who are using WhatsApp have our mobile number they can see that we are also using WhatsApp. WhatsApp is also End-to-End encrypted with that we can ensure our messages and calls made through WhatsApp is secure. We can send text messages as well as we can make video or audio calls with our contacts who are using WhatsApp. Great thing Whatsapp got is the chat groups. As university students when we got any group assignments or projects we easily create a chat group using WhatsApp with the help of it we can share details between the members. WhatsApp also have file transferring feature with that we can share photos, videos, documents, audios and etc. We can send audio clips recorded directly from WhatsApp as voice messages. We can also share locations to groups or to our contacts. WhatsApp have another feature called status which allow us to share text, images or links publicly to our contacts. WhatsApp automatically create a backup of messages daily we can upload it to the cloud services like google drive directly through WhatsApp. It also have a PC application which allows us to send messages from our PC which will be send through our WhatsApp account.

Cons: It is better if WhatsApp have group calling feature. It is better if WhatsApp got a dark mode when using in night time. WhatsApp interface can not be customized as we wanted it is limited to given options.

Pros: I love WhatsApp! It is so useful for free texting and calls, especially to communicate with people abroad. I use WhatsApp everyday to communicate with family and friends who are out of the country or even in the country but use phones from elsewhere. It is really easy to use and they have options for group chats, video chats, voice calls, and sending photos. I've been using and relying on WhatsApp for years, and it has never failed me!

Cons: What I like least about this software is that when I turn off notifications, I can only turn it off for all chats instead of for just one chat. For example, I have a family-wide group chat with my extended family. My family that lives abroad posts at all hours of the days and very often, so I wanted to turn off these notifications because it was very annoying to keep getting notifications every minute. However, when I turned off these notifications, it turned them off for the rest of my chats as well. I have to remember to constantly check WhatsApp when I'm chatting with people because I don't get a notification when I get a message from someone.

Overall: My overall experience with WhatsApp has been a really good one. I've been using the software for years. I like that it has a mobile version and a web version so that I can also use it on my laptop when I am not on my phone. I think it works very well and has so many options for a free software. It also works both on Wifi and just with regular data service. WhatsApp has been very integral for helping my family members from all over the world keep in touch with each other on a daily basis.

Pros: Being able to rapidly establish a new group between your own contacts and others makes this an exceptional tool, especially when looking to support crises and short notice planning. Not having to have any social media accounts is especially attractive to many. Files can be attached, individual messages can be replied to, and direct messages can be sent in replying to group messages. The GUI is very simple, making it an extremely swift applicwtion. Being able to delete messages for you and for your recipients is a great idea although the time allowed for this should be extended. Overall, knowing the high level of security makes this extremely valuable for corporate use although as recent media as shown, not everything is 100% secure, especially when it is free.

Cons:

The popularity! This is such a popular piece of software that my phone now has over 15 live groups, ranging from university syndicates, study groups, sports teams, social events and personal clients. Each one has more than 5 people - the biggest blessing becomes the "mute conversation" button at times!

Finding files within a group can become a significant challenge after long periods and I wonder if there could perhaps be an option that highlights only the attachments?

Overall: The ability to establish independent groups, scaled to suit a singular 1-on-1 discussion through to hundreds, within a securely encrypted package that doesn't require any social media account makes this the singular group messaging app of the 21sf century so far.

Pros: There are many other instant messengers out there but there's none quite like the WhatsApp messenger. I use WhatsApp because it has been reliable over the years. It has helped me stay in touch with everyone who is important to me.

I love that I get to chat for as long as I want, make free calls and even video chat with friends and family. The most amazing part is I get to do this all day long if I wish as long as I have an internet connection on my device, it's totally free.

It also allows its users post on their status and view other people's status updates.

I love that it allows you block or restrict people you pick out from view either your display picture or status updates.

Cons: The one thing I dislike about the features on WhatsApp is the "delete" feature. It usually states on your chat whenever you delete a particular chat message, telling the person you are chatting with that you deleted a message. I think the whole idea of deleting a message is so that the other person wouldn't know you sent it at all in the first place.

Overall: I can't remember the exact year I started using WhatsApp but I know that I've been using it to keep in touch with my family and friends and even clients for over 7years now. What attracted me to WhatsApp was the privacy and the large number of users it has acquired so far, because then, you are sure that when you send an instant message to people on your contact list, they are most likely to receive your message. This has made communication faster and easier, drawing people closer.

Pros: What I love most about WhatsApp is the mere fact that opened a new form to sell. WhatsApp is now a great service to connect with possible clients, and be closer to them. That's what big companies do, they have a presence in the clients life.

Talking about my personal life. Whatsapp also helps me to connect with my friends & family.

The group function is what I most use, you can add your team, your classmates and your slumber party friends.

If you're in the educational online sector, it is very recommendable to create communities, and give them value everyday. You will win them and they gonna buy you.

I think WhatsApp, has become almost the default app on every smartphone to send messages. Because it is entertaining, easy to use, and offers a lot of functions to the world, for free.

Cons: Well, it should connect with facebook and suggest contacts, it would make easier the way we found people.

Also, some day I had a problem to transfer my content from an iPhone to Android.

This is a tip:

It should have a tool to make marketing in WhatsApp. You know, sending promotions to a big

Overall: There is a lot of great things WhatsApp offer for free, so I'm really glad with this service.

You can use the normal app for your personal life, but there is WhatsApp for business, and I think that's the key to become a better seller and connect with clients in a way that few do.

I hope to see my expectations became a reality in the future, because having a lot of users means having a lot of potential...

Pros: I use WhatsApp for both work and play and there aren't a lot of software or communications options that you can say seamless translates that well. I could be in a group chat with my girlfriends but also in another tab be getting updates from my team. I truly love how organized the app is set up! I love that I can use it no matter what country or locations I'm in as long as I have internet connection, I'm connected. I also love how I'm able to store all of my files in a particular conversation and also that quickly save a file to my phone. Its the best and I literally use it everyday and its an app that has because very intreated into my life.

Cons: One major concern that occasionally pops into my head, is my privacy. Since, WhatsApp is so integrated into my life, I'm sure I amass a lot of personal data using this app. I know it states on the app that my messages are encrypted, however, I'm often still concerned. I know WhatsApp is owned my Facebook and they have been plagued with severe privacy issues and a lot users personal data have been mishandled. As little as two days ago there was the latest scandal. I know they are different companies, but I still have concerns.

Overall: I love it! Its truly works for me! Its quick and easy and I don't necessary have to be part of a larger platform to use this app and that great. It's one of the best communications apps that can be used for multiple purposes and it's far better than the comparable Facebook messenger.

Pros: I am NOT a "millenial". Whatsapp is the most intuitive, easy, wonderful, comprehensive texting tool. It is better than email, texting, social media, phone calls... all in one. The call quality and video quality are MUCH better than facetime! I don't think I have used Skype, facetime, texting in YEARS. When you get used to whatsapp and the people in your life use it... there is no going back. You can do everything on it. I do! Where I live, people use whatsapp officially. I got invited to a job interview over whatsapp. I called a store and they sent me pictures of an item over whatsapp. My kids' teachers send me photos of them over whatsapp. There are whatsapp groups for EVERYTHING (those get annoying but not because of the app, just because of the people in them. This won't be your issue). It is seamless, easy to use, quick, and supremely reliable. With wifi or cell service, you have ALL YOU NEED with whatsapp. If it were the ONLY form of communication I had with humans it would be more than sufficient. It is the greatest.

Cons: I really cannot think of one. The only 'holdup' is if the people in your life don't use whatsapp, then you don't have them in the app. It reads your phonebook and tells you who has the app and who doesn't, and allows you to invite whoever doesn't have the app.

Overall: I honestly don't remember life before whatsapp... but it is a total game changer in communications.

Pros: Whatsapp can be easily installed on phone/devices and it keeps us connected with individuals and groups all over the world via calls, messages, photos/videos/documents etc. without having to spend any money for using the app.

We feel as if we don't miss out any function or event even if we don't attend it as the events are shared by others through their whatsapp status/photos/videos.

Most attractive features are:

-Whatsapp web which helps connect the app to computer for easy data handling especially for office works.

-Location sharing which helps us share current location to others so that they can reach the place easily without hassles.

-It has almost all necessary features to express ideas, emotions and communication.

Cons: Some of the disadvantages are:

-It consumes a lot of phone memory space since the datas as well as the media get stored in the app/phone.

-This app cannot be used if there is no internet connection either wifi or mobile data.

-Free of cost service and easy access to others have resulted in many people especially teenagers misusing the app.

-Once installed in the phone/device, we can continue to use the app until it is deleted or reinstalled in another device, thus we need to be careful regarding the security.

Overall: It is one of the best applications having almost all the basic and necessary functions for connecting with people and the world.

It has become an inevitable part of everybody's life.

Pros: The program of WhatsApp allows in real time to communicate through text messages or videos called in real time, regardless of the country where you are avoiding the roaming service something that in some countries is very expensive another advantage is that only with connection of Internet can be transferred almost immediately multimedia images as well as files with documents in different formats such as spreadsheets presentations or texts in some processors such as PDF, WORD or ODF as well as images in JPG formats or photographs taken from the mobile phone.

Cons: The limitations of the program is that you can only use a mobile phone and if you use the program on a PC, you should use browsers such as Opera and it only works when it is related to the computer by limiting the function. of data consumption both to the telephone and to the equipment where the WhatsApp is being used. the other thing that limits the use of the program is the service provider of the latter depends on the version of the program and its quality of response regarding its properties as Software.

Overall: The use of the program solves the problem of real-time communication with one or more contacts and also allows video calls that allow a close experience with working people and loved ones. the other thing is the transfer of private or work documents to our different contacts, thus generating a way of communicating that facilitates our daily environment, be it family or work.

Pros: WhatsApp is currently one of the best FREE and popular messaging app on the market. Awesome and excellent set of features once you get to know them. excellent quality video and audio calls provided that you have the bandwidth to accompany. It also has the popular emoji options, ability to upload audio clips, video clips and images to share with friends and family. Has the ability to post your status and also view the status of people you have in your contact. One of my all time favorite, is Whatsapp Web, which allows you to use Whatsapp via the web browser and adds a whole new dimension to messaging as it boasts some of the same awesome feature that can be found within the app. In addition, that also have the desktop version of the app, which adds more to the user experience. It provides customizable features, including the notifications, wallpaper, groups, secrets and many more, just to name a few. I love the clean GUI and ease of use with boosts the UX (User experience) in the app.

Cons: One of the main dislikes about the app, is its' dependency. In order to use WhatsApp Web, you must be connected to the internet on you mobile device to make connection.

Overall: I am currently having a ball with the app as it meets almost all of my needs and those it in an acceptable and customizable manner with just a few tweaks here and there to make it the ultimate messaging app alive.

Pros: This is a really nice chat app to use to keep in touch with people. You can make groups or just chat one on one. It runs through your cell phone number. You can also receive phone calls and video chat within the app as well. You can save pictures to your phone within the app so you never lose any of the memories. You can update your status as well as have ringtones for special people that call or message you on it. It has a feature you can star voice clips, text or pictures. This way you can click your profile simply click starred and see all that you saved easily without having to scroll back through all your old messages.

Cons: Downfall at least for the iphone not sure about android based phones, but you can not use some ringtones mainly the ones that came with the phone not custom ones you make. However that doesn't effect the calls just the text part of the chats ringtone. The camera is a little off as well like when you take pictures sometimes it shifts it sideways when it shouldn't. I thought this was just me but had others tell me the same. This being said if you take the picture out of whatsapp and send it through whats app it works good.

Overall: This is become one of my favorite app. Its easy to use and its not over done. It has voice clip, calls, video chat, pictures and all in one place. It makes it easy to keep in touch with saving my text messages and helps me talk overseas to people I know.

Pros: What I like most about this software is the ability to create multiple chats with different groups or single people and send files that are larger than the allowed value via text message. This app is especially useful because it is free internationally if you are on WiFi or have data, so you can connect to people around the world with no extra charge. Lastly, you can turn on and off the notifications for certain chats and not others in case some chats are too cumbersome for you or time-consuming.

Cons: What I like least about this software are some of its default settings, such as automatically downloading any media in chats to your personal device. I wasn't aware this was happening to me for a while until I was running low on phone storage and had all these unnecessary files , gifs, and pictures that people sent in chats over time that I didn't even realize I had stored on my phone. Also, sometimes you get random SPAM messages sent to you and I have no idea where they come from and why. Reminds me of old-time AOL instant messenger in that sense at times.

Overall: WhatsApp is great to connect with people around the world, share large files, search through chat content, and not have to worry about download times. I like it more than regular text messaging! Also, you can do video calls and voice calls with people internationally with no extra charge which is helpful for personal use and business use if you work with contractors!

Pros: Userfriendly, instant transfer of messages, avaiable in I Phone, windows,ANDROID phones. It can send unlimited messages. We know the status of messages if single click happens with grey colour it means sent messages, if it is double click with blue it, means read messages by the receiver. Send document files upto 100mb. Can senx audio video messages. The best advantage is security. It is enabled with end to end encryption.. It can send multiple messages to multiple persons by creating groups. Easy way to change your phone number without having any problem to the existing whatsapp account. We can create group of maximum persons of 256 number. Message can be deleted in 4096seconds. All these services are of free cost. It is the best app for emoji writings. And chating becomes interesting one. I give five rating. Use it and get thrilled.. it can block unwanted persons.

Cons: It will not work in offline.. We can create a group of maximum persons of 256.it cant be increased. And also another disadvantage is only admin can add new persons into whatsapp group.. Whatsapp takes memory a lot. I think that is also a disadvantage. Sometimes chat backup process may not be a success one.. These are the disavantages i consider into a matter. All others are good.

Overall: It is nice to use. I would give five rating even though it have

Pros: Living in a world that is digitally dominated, privacy is one of the paramount things in an individual's life. WhatsApp, with its 128-bit encryption, provides you with just that. By enabling this WhatsApp has no access to your chats or media.

Yet another significant aspect that I like about WhatsApp is its two-step verification process, which allows the users to furthermore secure their information.

And let's not forget the amazing user-friendly experience it provides us literally free of cost and without any advertisements.

Cons: Like all the things, WhatsApp also has some negative aspects along with its advantages. One of the major things that I dislike is group management. All the users added to the group has access to your contact number, which is not an ideal situation. Another thing is anyone can add you to a group without needing your permission.

Another factor I would like to see a change in is the option to edit a sent message. Being able to delete a sent message is all well and fine, but an editing option would further enhance the performance.

Also, it would be incredibly convenient to improve backup management, as there are a lot of users switching from ios to android and vice versa. As the only option to back up WhatsApp in android is google drive and IOS is cloud, it sometimes can be a bit of challenge switching.

Pros: WhatsApp is a brilliant communication up that has become, "I can not do without" kind of app for me.

I use WhatsApp for my business and I find it super easy to reach out to my customers.

I also find that customers respond to my WhatsApp messages faster than they respond to my emails. I think its because they feel accountable since they know that I can see the blue double ticks that show that they have seen/read the message.

Another great thing about WhatsApp is the groups. My siblings are always out of the country chasing their dreams and so it gets soo hard to gather and talk as family but WhatsApp has helped us a lot. We always catch up, share photos and break news to each other on the forum. I know that there are many people that do this and I think that this is really worth applauding WhatsApp for.

Cons: WhatsApp back up crashes sometimes. I've never really lost any data but many times my WhatsApp refused to show my back up when I needed it.

I hate how videos and photos fill up my phone storage. I wish WhatsApp could create some sort of cloud so that messages don't have to get downloaded to the phone storage.

Overall: WhatsApp is definitely the best phone app right now and I would recommend it to everyone. Business people, teens, etc. With Its new features like WhatsApp Business, this app is getting better and better.

The people behind WhatsApp have great minds and I know soon they will fix a lot of the cons I have mentioned up there.

In the past for example WhatsApp calls worked horribly but now their calls are clear, fast and perfect.

Pros: 1. WhatsApp recently acquired by FaceBook has been one of the simplest and top-most mediums used for communication by people not only within the nation, but across the globe.

2. Because of it's simple and easy to use graphical user interface, the medium attracts users to communicate or chat with others.

3. I love the overall user experience and find it the best communication tool which works across multiple devices, PCs and mobiles.

4. It has a pack full of functionalities and features combined, that leaves out most of it's competitors far behind.

5. It provides options to group voice call, video call, chat, make use of emojis/gifs and much more all at a single click of our fingers.

6. It is free of cost and a great value for money.

7. Managing user profiles is also pretty simple and changing display pictures or setting up statuses, etc. just adds to the functionality list.

8. In addition, no ads or disturbances and security is at the peak.

9. Uploading files, sharing documents or connecting to contacts is all on a single go.

Cons: WhatsApp needs to do a little more work on thoughts like offline chats as everything today is dependent on the internet, but what if the internet fails or we are in areas of low/no network coverage.

Pros: I liked it a lot, it's free, and almost everyone I know has access to it ..

being able to send so much variety of files is very good too.

Group video calls are great.

Cons: It has almost no editing options, I think the new actuzliaciones will have a little more action.

but that I did NOT have the option of DARK MODE ,. if it was really uncomfortable, especially on the night you opened the chat, and a blinding flash appeared,

I do not like that the audio is cut (of any app) when starting to record a voice audio.

You do not have the option to activate or not this detail ..

because i like my audios with the music i'm listening to ..

it seems that every time they make the apps more annoying ...

the organization of the chats does NOT exist. osae everyone is scrambled. There is no order other than the recent chat.

among other things..

I can not see who sees my stories, if I do not have them added.

How do I know that there are people who do not know who they are but they add me and see my stories and I do not even consider them?

Overall: Needless to say,

everyone uses this application.

It is very practical. but they limit a lot what you can do with it ..

as not being able to send a file of certain mega ..

It takes away a lot of time whatapp. I am not a person who uses it well. for the amount of limitations they have,

but like all applications are similar. limited in what they offer us.

maybe to sell more '' certain '' function ..

This is fine ..

Pros: WhatsApp is great. I'm a huge fan of the end to end encryption. As someone working in the field of audio, I am wary of sending works in progress out that I am paranoid will be intercepted or potentially stolen as it's original intellectual property. I find it reassuring that I can have conversations, phone calls, video calls and even send basic files over the WhatsApp without having to worry about such potential issues.

Cons: What I like least is that the software is fairly limited in what it could do. If there was more emphasis on data and there could be a separate category for file transfer that had more options (such as involving other users, etc), I think WhatsApp would be a far more centralized piece of software for me. I have to, at times, resort to using WhatsApp in conjunction with other programs. It'd be nice if it could all be done in one. I understand that the developers have the app focus on very specific functionality as not everyone needs those options but it'd be nice if they had those options and they could be enabled or disabled for specific users.

Overall: I use WhatsApp to collaborate with clients who share their audio files with me and have no means to send actual recordings but have to rely on picking up audio and streaming it through their mics. While this is not ideal, I find the audio quality to be fairly pristine - especially since it is encrypted and being sent over a network. The noise cancellation and reduction is well designed as well and I've rarely had any audio glitches or weird behavior that can be noticeable with some other platforms when they are heavily in use.

Pros: Whatsapp as a software is hands down one of the best texting and messaging soft wares out there in the market. I have used this software as way back as 2013 and I can confidently say whatsapp software is a very rigid software. Its user verification feature ensures that the account is well protected. It also has other interesting features such as Group creation (as many as you like) to enable easier connection to a large number of people, Free video and voice calls for single or group use, file transfer in PDF, music, picture and video formats. It's end to end encryption is also a brilliant addition which ensures that your data doesn't fall into the wrong hands of third parties. It's beautiful user interface is also something to add, and the recently included status function brings friends closer making the software more aesthetic and multi-purpose. I could go on and on about the pros of this software. It is a really good software.

Cons: The web version of whatsapp lags a lot sometimes. It sometimes encounters some difficulties while syncing contacts thereby skipping some contacts. It also has a low limit of the video file size you can send.

Overall: The whatsapp software has really been a very important factor in my business and personal life, enabling me to reach out to business partners, clients and family members.

Pros: What I liked the most about whatsapp and the ease it allows converging through text or video calls with people who are not close, we can make a meeting through video call, create groups of interece in common. The Whatsapp company allows a contact with the customer, when used for service, this agility that the application offers in terms of commonality and very efficient at work. Here in the company she created a profile and with that she could add information such as business presentation, official website, email and time of operation something that I really like and the automated message and fast the texts that you send to the client at the time that the company is involved helps a lot in the day to day of the company.

Cons: The registration via telephone number find a negative point, when we change the number we have to notify our entire list of contacts, another negative point and not be able to use the app on the computer without the cell phone to be connected, in relation to the groups I think the amount of people that can be added to a group and very little, I believe that the app would look great if we could add as many people as we want in a group.

Overall: My experience and very good I use the application in my day to day so much for personal use with professional, helping me to diminish the distance with people dear to me.

Pros: WhatsAPP is the undisputed champion of the communication world as it is the most popular and the most downloaded. Its popularity is justified because it offers competitive features. who doesnt love something free. Information for users is also relatively safe and secure because WhatsAPP has end to ed encription for users. The fact that it can be installed to almost all if not all Operating system is a plus. Whatsapp users can make and recieve video and audio calls from all over the world free of charge. Users can also send and recieve mesage, documents pictures, files free of charge. All these and the fact that video calls can be recorded when need be makes WhatsAPP the undisputed leader in this area of technology.

Cons: There is a crop up of WhatsAPP clones that are proving to undermine the success of this popular app. Users of this clones can communicate with users of the genuine whatsAPP users. The fact that the clones have insecurity issues makes the use of WhatsAPP unsafe for its users.

Overall: WhatsAPP has helped me communicate effectively with my fellow workmates either in a group chat or one on one. This has greatly improved our efficiency and togetherness in the workplace and outside it. It has also helped me improve relations with members of ny immediate and extended family as we can now communicate freely whenever and wherever

Pros: WhatsApp is the number one application in instant messaging, works for any operating system and is free. WhatsApp allows you to be connected with anyone anywhere in the world, as long as you have the downloaded application. Allows you to share images, audios, videos, Gif and stickers, make calls, video calls and update states where you can place messages or photographs so that all your contacts can see them. One of the ideal things about WhatsApp is that it gives you privacy by allowing you to hide your photo only for your contacts, the time you last activated the application and exclude contacts so they can not see your status.

Cons: One of the most criticized and negative aspects of WhatsApp is that despite allowing to hide a lot of information, currently it remains visible for all contacts when you are active in the application through an "online" chat. Another negative aspect that can be mentioned is that WhatsApp does not work in all countries without depending on an internet connection

Overall: In my experience I can say that WhatsApp is my favorite instant messaging, I always use it, I find it comfortable, easy to use, dynamic and a good way to interact with all your contacts without the need of a social network. Its emoticons adapt to any personality and also it has allowed me to send files that are not too heavy without using email.

Pros: What I enjoy most about WhatsApp is how they were able to make texting people actually an addictive experience, like they really changed how we chat nowadays. Other apps are just following WhatsApp example in my opinion. I enjoy the fact that it is absolutely free, the stickers, the voice notes, and the fact that even though it is free it is constantly updated.

Cons: There are some issues with refreshing contacts and seeing the changes on your phone but apart from that there are really no issues that I could describe. I wish I could manage more types of files within the app as well, not like edit a Word document but at least being able to open a PDF without a third-party app. Something like that. I would also like an option to be able to hide a chat or something similar. Lots of people have told me that they wished they could hide certain groups, for example, because they don't want to get out of those groups for social reasons, but they don't want to see the messages there. The Archive function is useless if every chat gets back on the list when somebody sends you a message. At least there should be an option to change that and keep them archived.

Overall: My experience with WhatsApp has been great, it's been more than 4 years now and I have no complaints aside from what I wrote here. Can't live without WhatsApp currently.
