It would be helpful if I could use the same number on multiple mobile devices, especially since it works fine on my iPad, laptop, and computer—but unfortunately not on more than one phone. April 9, 2026 4.0 I used to talk to an acquaintance in UK, and when I was abroad myself, with no free text messaging. Easy to use, and send photos and files Pros Free messaging system. Great for using when one of the people is abroad without worrying about the cost. And unlike text messaging, when abroad you can still send and receive files and images. I believe it allows you to share up to 2 GB of data which is very generous. User interface is fun and simple to understand. Cons I never liked the name 'WhatsApp' and found it juvenile. You don't only text with your friends. On a more serious note, I never found it to have some especially interesting features to use it within US instead regular texting and messenger. It is beneficial in a professional and a personal setting. I liked it because it allows for all types of phone users (android and apple) to be able to communicate effectively. Cons WhatsApp does have some users that will contact you that is “spam” or “junk” messages.
