Literally, I have been using it for 10 years and I mostly have only good things to say about the app. I like the way the developers also evolve and try to meet the taste of the audience. Pros Personally, I believe WhatsApp is the number one social media platform for chatting or messaging with friends and family through audio or video call. It’s also very easy to use. Feels like the more I use it, the more spam calls and messages I get on the app. I also get random images and videos that others send via the whatsapp group downloaded into my phone which I need to delete after. Pros Easy to add friends/people, just need to add via phone number. You can also create subgroups into main groups. Cons Probably because you add via phone number, you can sometimes get spam calls on whatsapp. Also feels more intrusive and less professional when adding via phone number. This seem so quality and easier for user like us. and for my perspective compare to other app, the smooths of video calling is much better in whatsapp. Pros its easy to communicate around the people, and the most i figure out its about the frequent update where some new feature are added which let user like us feel to used it, for example emoji and GIF sticker, and plus point we can used as a business whatsapp user too which allowed business man easier to catch up the customer. Cons Sometimes, WhatsApp doesn't give enough privacy. For example, people can see when you're online or if you’ve read their messages, which can feel a bit too much. Also, it doesn’t have strong tools for organizing chats, so it can get messy if you have many messages. Pros It's more private than other Meta products. Also, Video quality during facetime is really good in WhatsApp. You can multitask while using WhatsApp. For instance, when you are facetiming someone, you can do other stuff parallelly without having to hide your face. This is appreciative Cons The quality of the images or even videos seem a bit off compared to say like Viber. Maybe this is my personal observation, but it needs an update. Cons The thing I like the least is that if someone has the settings so that their texts disappear after a certain amount of time then it does it for both people in the chat instead of just the person with the setting on their end.
