While I enjoy the interface, the number of notifications, the lack of privacy, and spam and fake accounts can be overwhelming. Pros I appreciate that it is free to use, has fast messaging, and is easy to create and join groups. Channels make it easy to follow the content that I am specifically interested in. I noticed that subscribing to paid subscriptions by content creators is automated and easy through Telegram. November 30, 2025 5.0 Most versatile app to use across devices for data sharing and communication. I have been using it for my work for more than 2 years and it rarely disappointed. In certain occasions it fails to send multiple files if its not selected from within the app, like when we select multiple files from our device and choose telegram to share it. Pros Telegram has the most privacy in any social media platform in the market now that provide similar service. The mandatory requirement of a phone number similar to WhatsApp limits fake accounts to an extend. It can be accessed from multiple devices at he same time making it very flexible and handy. Cons The search option seems to be a bit inefficient, the key words does not always fetch desirable results, even when we type in a word to search in our conversations, it always shows something totally unrelated. That aspect I think would be better to take reference from WhatsApp or even Instagram. I started using it mainly for communication, but now I also use it to send myself notes, organize ideas, and keep up with fast-paced work stuff without feeling too cluttered Pros I like that Telegram makes it easy to keep up with different parts of my day without switching between apps constantly. I use it for personal chats, work updates, sending documents, and even saving content ideas for the salon. Doesn’t feel overloaded with ads or unnecessary stuff. Group chats are also easier to manage compared to other apps Cons The only thing I don’t really like is that group notifications can become a lot, especially during busy days. I really like that you are able to find other users that enjoy the same things. Telegram is very easy to use and set up. You can easily find chat groups for just about anything. I have used Telegram to find information about certain topics and current events. Cons Telegram also has some things that I would consider negative. I have seen articles about crimes against children uploaded to the platform. It seems like Telegram allows just about anything to be posted. Luckily this has never been an issue for me.
