Cons Telegram as security concerns charts are not end-to-end encrypted while they can be turned on in one-to-one chats. Furthermore, the platform is also a hotbed for scammers, fake accounts and misinformation since there is no hands on moderation like other apps. I like beung able ti find channels that pertain to me. Its easy to keep them organized. I like that there is also a personal message feature that you can use if you need to take chats out of the group channel. I do with the notifications worked better tho. Its hit or miss. Pros I really like thay different channels can be created. They are all organized to where i can see which teams are there. Its nice being able ti reply in channels to either a certain reply or the channel in general. Cons Sometimes the notifications dont come through for certain channles. But sometimes I will see something on Instagram and then click the link to bring to telegram, most times to see what the link is all about. But it's a pretty decent app. Knowing about the non-end to end encryption is crazy. Pros you are able to have a sense of privacy (to a certain degree, unless choosing another option which will be explained below). Specifically depending on the intention of using telegram, supergroups can be formed, going well above 200,000 members. Cons One may think that this app is similar to another like WhatsApp, but it is simply not. Unlike WhatsApp, telegram does not provide end to end encryption - unless you open up a secret chat. Finding out that your conversations are out in the open if the FEDS do get past this new ruling of allowing a back door to users encrypted data - will be putting us "innocent users" at risk.
