November 30, 2025 5.0 Most versatile app to use across devices for data sharing and communication. I have been using it for my work for more than 2 years and it rarely disappointed. In certain occasions it fails to send multiple files if its not selected from within the app, like when we select multiple files from our device and choose telegram to share it. Pros Telegram has the most privacy in any social media platform in the market now that provide similar service. The mandatory requirement of a phone number similar to WhatsApp limits fake accounts to an extend. It can be accessed from multiple devices at he same time making it very flexible and handy. Cons The search option seems to be a bit inefficient, the key words does not always fetch desirable results, even when we type in a word to search in our conversations, it always shows something totally unrelated. That aspect I think would be better to take reference from WhatsApp or even Instagram. Switched from [WhatsApp](https://www.capterra.com/p/180345/WhatsApp/) I used to only use WhatsApp, but since I tried Telegram, I found it indispensable and now It is one of the apps that I have in all my devices. " March 9, 2025 5.0 So far I have taken a liking to this app, my experience is great and i dont have any complains so far it works well on low quality internet too. Pros Telegram is an excellent messaging app compared to many others. It doesn’t require a Gmail account for storage, and you can switch between devices without worrying about backups—your information stays intact. With strong privacy features, including secret chats, Telegram is great for those who value security. Another major advantage is the ability to send and open large files without any complications. Additionally, Telegram is ideal for hosting large online meetings, which makes it the perfect platform for prayer meetings and Bible studies. Many people have expressed interest in joining, but most apps have limitations on group size. That's why I’m recommending Telegram to my pastor as a better option for our community. Cons Telelgram isnt widely used as i would like it to be, you tend to find more people using other calling and messaging apps but overall its a great app to use. Every time I've used it a scammer has used it to try and get me signed up for a fake job or other scam. Pros It's easy to use and has all the basic features and they work the same way as they do in other apps so there's no learning curve. Cons It's where all the scammers go to do their business. This app is easy to function and the quality is superb. I have been using telegram from a long time and always used to send photos and videos through it to my friends. I love using telegram and it fun to text using this app. Pros Telegram is a really good app and it is very easy to use. There are many fun GIFs and stickers that makes chatting more fun and interesting. It is almost free and the quality of messages, shared photos and videos is unmatchable. Group chatting and team communication is very easy through telegram. Cons Everything about telegram is okay. I do not have anything negative about it. Cons I didn't liked the notification system of telegram , because it failed to notify me of some important messages. Some features are a bit hard to understand for new users . I really like that you are able to find other users that enjoy the same things. Telegram is very easy to use and set up. You can easily find chat groups for just about anything. I have used Telegram to find information about certain topics and current events. Cons Telegram also has some things that I would consider negative. I have seen articles about crimes against children uploaded to the platform. It seems like Telegram allows just about anything to be posted. Luckily this has never been an issue for me. Pros you are able to have a sense of privacy (to a certain degree, unless choosing another option which will be explained below). Specifically depending on the intention of using telegram, supergroups can be formed, going well above 200,000 members. Cons One may think that this app is similar to another like WhatsApp, but it is simply not. Unlike WhatsApp, telegram does not provide end to end encryption - unless you open up a secret chat.
