It's been a joy to communicate with our community using this app for years now. I enjoy this messaging app a lot. One of the things I love the most is the stickers and now they are animated! Also, It's very very polished. As a designer, I really appreciate the attention to detail. For example, on Android, the keyboard comes up smoothly, has beautiful animations and it has a dark mode. Pros I love that it has a ton of features (and they keep adding more!). I really like the stickers it has (now animated); there's a lot to choose from. Also, the app is cloud-based, so no attachments to a phone; I use it on my desktop all the time. And finally, I like the bots and how easy it is to create one for our business, which we use this app for. There's a lot to like about this app but these are the features I like the most. Cons The only bad points I could come up with were 1) the lack of users. Many friends and family members are still using WhatsApp and it's tough to make them change their messaging app or even install a new one. 2) The app is currently not encrypting messages in normal chats, which is a little concerning, considering Telegram stores the messages in the cloud (which may be a reason why it can't encrypt them in the first place). Pros I was initially looking for something which would allow me to design a "bot" for my team and I to use. This fit the bill and is extraordinarily fast at what it does, especially when you're writing a "bot". Now that I work somewhere else, I still use Telegram's easy to use bot features to integrate with my home security system (sends me a message if my door is opened, etc). I also use it to talk securely with family and friends. Cons I would like to be able to use an email address rather than a phone number to sign up. I had to later install it on my personal phone and authenticate it with my work phone before it would work on my personal device. Reason for choosing Telegram Free, and the API wasn't complicated. Pros After using the most popular messaging software, I decided to suggest that we give Telegram a try, it seemed like a more private and secure solution. End-to-end encryption gives communication a lot of security, especially when it comes to sensitive information and this is extremely valuable when you have a confidentiality agreement with your client. Another thing that I like about this program is that the shared files do not take up space on the device, they stay in the cloud. Groups can also be very helpful when looking for specific information, just put the topic you are looking for to find a suitable group. The rest of the features are similar to the other application, so Telegram has a clear advantage over it. Cons Perhaps what I like least about this software is the lack of official support, the only support is from the community and many times it can take days to answer any question or simply never answer. I had a problem when changing my phone number and there was already a telegram account associated with that number, when I asked for help to be able to register my account to my new number, I did not have an answer. Overall, the Telegram app is a good application with a lot of functionality. Pros Telegram is one of the most effective massage apps I've used.  I can share a large number of high-resolution photographs and movies (up to 1 GB).  Also, this Telegram app places a higher priority on security and speed, allowing users to create group chats with up to 200000 participants, remain in touch with everyone, and exchange an unlimited number of photographs and videos. Telegrm also has a nice feature that allows us to hide our phone number from unknown group members. This demonstrates another aspect of the telegrm app's high level of security.  Telegram can be used not only for massaging, but also for downloading movies and songs.  As a result, I'd like to state that Telegram is more than just another messaging app. Cons One drawback I've seen in this app is that we can't view the status of others. Anyway, it's not a major issue. Another downside I've seen is that while we're on a video call, the video may occasionally auto rotate, disrupting the dialogue.  It would be wonderful if they could repair it Review Source Akash S. Pros I really Like Telegram Messenger Its User Interface looks really good, And Telegram Saves all of our chats and the media that we sent , on the server. and I really like the fact that telegram supports in all platforms like Windows,Mac,Linux,Android and iOS and they have its web version too and because of that we can access our chats anytime from anywhere. And there is no limit fro the file size that we can sent on telegram. And we can use telegram on multiple devices at the same time. And I really like the option to add and use multiple accounts in one phone. And in telegram we can do voice calls and we can manage its security features like enable and disable peer-to-peer calling ,blocking certain users, or we can add them to exceptions list. And i really like the fact that there are too many customisation in settings. Cons We cant make a video call on Telegram, and the voice calls are not good as the other apps when its on low signal.There is no option to add multiple account on Telegram Desktop version. When we go-to a chat we can see the photos and videos that the use sent or shared on group, but there is no option to see only videos and photos separately. At work, we use Telegram Groups were for official communications. It gets us engaged. Pros The very outstanding feature about telegram is that it works swiftly and messaging is so instant. The app tells you whether your contact is online, recording audio or typing a text to you. If not online, then at least their last seen time. So, you judge for yourself whether it is timely to message the contact or not. Group chats have a very big threshold on the number of participants. It can allow up 5000 members per group chat. This is a big plus when compared to other social media apps. I also like the flexibility I have with telegram when it comes to diversity in chats. You can send text, audio recording, video recording, make a live audio call or video call. It also allows you to attach various types of files in a conversation. Telegram allows sharing of large size of media. I don't remember to have reached a limit on that. I can send videos of any size without a warning on limits. Telegram is excellent with security and privacy. Personal messages are protected with encryption. It also provides a pin code to the registered phone number, to be used when logging into multiple devices. Data for telegram is kept both online and and can also be downloaded into device memory. There are no limits to this. The app has good and unique animated stickers and an option to make additional ones without installing a third-party app. This makes a chat to feel live and fun. The last point I can make is that Telegram is free and truly free. No hidden costs Cons There is a feature to edit a text which has already been sent and received. Allowing these alterations can be seriously harmful for a crucial conversation. Telegram is generally noisy. For example, there is a default notification setting that each time a new contact joins telegram, the app should notify you on that. This notification keeps on popping up with sound and vibration, even after disabling it in the settings. It is a displeasure. Pros Why adopt this software? First of all, I like the fact that the conversations are totally secure. Telegram is one of the leaders in instant messaging on smartphones. Sending is very fast and there is very little loading time. I like the fact that you can start a conversation on your phone and continue it on your computer. Unlike other services, Telegram does not limit the size of the transferred files and this is very convenient. Its other big positive point is its capacity of reception (more than 100 000 participants) when creating public or private groups. The moderation is simple and efficient. Unfortunately it is not used as mainstream as hoped, so I am still stuck using Whatsapp and Telegram interchangeably. I would drop Whatsapp in a heartbeat. Pros Telegram has a simple interface with all features you can expect from a chat software. Very easy to operate and has intuitive features for making groups/teams for business or just messaging friends and family. Cons Telegram is near-perfect for business and personal use. The only issue we have had with Telegram was that it is not business compliant. We used Telegram for 90% of communication regarding business, but due to a change in laws we had to switch to teams as it is more secure.
