There are some extra options in the paid section of the messenger, but not sure I will use them. Pros I like most about Telegram that it’s free, stable, versatile and widespread service working as both desktop program and mobile app on any OS. Cons I hate how internal options of Telegram work (e.g. search, extra account creation/deleting, channel search and setting). " March 9, 2025 5.0 So far I have taken a liking to this app, my experience is great and i dont have any complains so far it works well on low quality internet too. Pros Telegram is an excellent messaging app compared to many others. It doesn’t require a Gmail account for storage, and you can switch between devices without worrying about backups—your information stays intact. With strong privacy features, including secret chats, Telegram is great for those who value security. Another major advantage is the ability to send and open large files without any complications. Additionally, Telegram is ideal for hosting large online meetings, which makes it the perfect platform for prayer meetings and Bible studies. Many people have expressed interest in joining, but most apps have limitations on group size. That's why I’m recommending Telegram to my pastor as a better option for our community. Cons Telelgram isnt widely used as i would like it to be, you tend to find more people using other calling and messaging apps but overall its a great app to use. I like beung able ti find channels that pertain to me. Its easy to keep them organized. I like that there is also a personal message feature that you can use if you need to take chats out of the group channel. I do with the notifications worked better tho. Its hit or miss. Pros I really like thay different channels can be created. They are all organized to where i can see which teams are there. Its nice being able ti reply in channels to either a certain reply or the channel in general. Cons Sometimes the notifications dont come through for certain channles. I really like that you are able to find other users that enjoy the same things. Telegram is very easy to use and set up. You can easily find chat groups for just about anything. I have used Telegram to find information about certain topics and current events. Cons Telegram also has some things that I would consider negative. I have seen articles about crimes against children uploaded to the platform. It seems like Telegram allows just about anything to be posted. Luckily this has never been an issue for me. If your plan is to make money like other social media apps, Telegram is not the app for you. Pros Telegram è davvero comodo perché puoi avere gruppi enormi e canali per condividere di tutto, ci sono i bot che fanno un sacco di cose utili automaticamente e la privacy è super protetta con le chat segrete e senza bisogno di numero di telefono in vista. Funziona su qualsiasi dispositivo e sincronizza tutto automaticamente, quindi posso usarlo dove voglio, è veloce anche per inviare file grandi e posso personalizzarlo come mi pare con temi, sticker e notifiche. In pratica, è un’app completa e facile da usare sia per chiacchierare che per gestire community. Cons Quello che mi convince di meno di Telegram è che alcune funzionalità avanzate (come la crittografia end-to-end) sono disponibili solo nelle chat segrete e non nelle chat normali, quindi non è tutto protetto allo stesso modo. Inoltre, dato che è basato sul cloud, occorre fare attenzione a cosa si condivide per evitare di lasciare troppe informazioni in rete. A volte può anche essere dispersivo, con tante notifiche e messaggi se si è iscritti a molti canali e gruppi. E poi, rispetto ad altre app di messaggistica, non è sempre chiaro per tutti come funzionano certe impostazioni di privacy o di gestione delle notifiche.
