Cons It is sometimes difficult to ask for people to change from WhatsApp to Telegram, but once they try it, they love it! " July 24, 2022 5.0 Pros Super easy to use, history search works well, until I noticed no glitches, works great on both laptop and phone. I use the feature of saving messages as a notepad for my notes. Way better alternative than the outdated Skype. Cons No major cons so far. If the submitted picture/image has not been compressed, viewing it without downloading it as a file and then searching through history won't work. Since the messages are stored on the cloud one can always access important information such as files at their own convenience. Pros A great chatting application that takes communication to another level. It’s a free application that you can use on different devices, whether a PC, laptop, mobile phone or table. One great feature love about Telegram is the ability to send large files despite their format. Telegram is a great chat application if you have a business, as teams can start work related discussions and everyone will be able to view the information. Cons I think it is not widely known and because of this one has to use other chatting applications when communicating with those who do not have the application installed on their devices. It frees up RAM and disk space on my device. It allows me to share images that will be delivered in the same quality. Once shared, the file is still available for download. It enables the creation of large groups with a large number of members for discussion and sharing on a larger platform. Pros This software has a simple interface, fast performance, is lightweight on the device, and is freely available for instant communication in text, audio, or video. The sent images maintain high quality. Once sent, the files remain available. It allows large groups to hold discussions with a larger group of people. the previous group discussions can be accessed by newly added members. However over the years less people started using it and migrated to other platforms that have been serving them more. Pros Peer to Peer messaging platform that at one point in time embodied an ethos of secure messaging. It had an energy and functionality similar to signal and wickr, and allows people to communicate with eachother. Cons From my understanding the platform itself is no longer as secure as it once was, it's notoriety and high visibility made it easier to potentially compromise, hence what might have once been a more secure messaging platform no longer is, from what I've heard- rumor or fact, this potential sentiment has deterred me from using the platform just in case, mostly based on the fact that more secure messaging platforms exist. The features may not be worth losing your data over. Pros Telegram es la nueva versión del antiguo telegrama que era algo complicado y demorado, pues se requería no solo de ser preciso, más bien exacto con el mensaje que además no permitía usar más de cierto número de caracteres sino también tener código postal y pagar un precio por su envío que solo se realizaba en oficinas acreditadas para ello, en cambio ahora Telegram reemplazó todo aquel servicio por uno inmediato, a la mano, fácil de usar, de enviar no solo a una persona sino que también integra a grupos o empresas dirigiendo un mismo mensaje de forma simultánea sin tener que reescribir un mismo texto varias veces y fuera de eso gratis, es genial para cualquier persona que tenga su propio negocio y quiera difundir contenidos a sus clientes, lanzar nuevos productos y demás por el estilo. Cons I do wish that after you've put up a channel and it's been used for a time, you could adjust how others interact with it more easily. I created a channel for my company, and while I still enjoy it, I want my customers to be able to speak in the comments section of a post that I broadcast. Every phone can use it, every computer has it. It's that easy to use. Even our operators communicate every operation performed through this app because they don't like to walk upstairs and report to the quality department. Pros Telegram has far superior end-to-end encryption compared to other IM softwares like WhatsApp. It's fast, easy to use, and it doesn't require you to share personal info like phone number or email address to use it well. Cons I can't say there is anything I dislike about Telegram, except maybe the frequent updates (then again, who complains about updates? That means developers actually care!). It has enabled me to keep in touch with people seamlessly from my desk to my mobile device and not miss the conversation. Even the ability to play games using the dice feature has been very rewarding. Cons Sometimes the GIF feature disappears from my device. I click on the option to add a GIF, but where the library used to pull up automatically, it is instead just a messaging pane. Nothing ground breaking, but a slight annoyance when I am trying to deliver that one perfect GIF at the perfect timing of the conversation. It is also great adventure that you can share larger files. One of my favorite apps so far.
