Pros Viber is great for staying connected with friends, family and colleagues especially internationally. I love its free messaging and calls, fun stickers and easy-to-use group chat features. The app works smoothly on both mobile and desktop. Cons Sometimes Viber can feel a bit cluttered with too many notifications, and the call quality isn’t always consistent. Just use one of the many other free messaging apps that don't bombard your nervous system with ads & obnoxious ringtones Pros That you can edit messages indefinitely after sending them. The emoticons used to be nice until they imposed a new set of emoticons on you which are very generic and ugly, and to go to the old ones you have to go out of your way Cons The ads on the Windows PC version at least are extremely intrusive. This alone makes this app unusable for me. Even worse is that the ringtone when somebody calls on Viber is very obnoxious and they didn't think to make this as a setting that you could turn on and off.
