Even though the ads can be annoying, it works well on phones and computers alike, making it a great option for everyday talking and texting. Pros Viber lets you call and message anyone around the world for free over the internet. You can set up group chats, send disappearing photos, and use fun stickers and gifs to express yourself. Plus, all your private chats stay safe and hidden from outside eyes. You can even pay a small fee to call normal phone numbers that aren't using the app. Cons The screen can feel crowded with too many options, channels, and pop-up ads trying to sell you extra features. Because of these ads, using the app sometimes feels a bit messy compared to simpler chat apps. While Telegram offers great features, I found that Viber’s end-to-end encryption for both messages and calls provided an extra layer of protection that I valued more for personal and professional communications. Just use one of the many other free messaging apps that don't bombard your nervous system with ads & obnoxious ringtones Pros That you can edit messages indefinitely after sending them. The emoticons used to be nice until they imposed a new set of emoticons on you which are very generic and ugly, and to go to the old ones you have to go out of your way Cons The ads on the Windows PC version at least are extremely intrusive. This alone makes this app unusable for me. Even worse is that the ringtone when somebody calls on Viber is very obnoxious and they didn't think to make this as a setting that you could turn on and off. It’s a very convenient to use Viber out where you can call outside of your country to call cellphone number all over the world, and it’s so cheap comparing to skype or other messaging app. Pros The thing I love with Viber is that almost everyone I know is been using this, from the year 2013, until now, we have been using this for our groups, from work, family and friends. I had been loving their new feature where you can create your own sticker, and it can also be available for public use. This app has been most secured app for messaging that I had used, I can compare this to other app I had used, and this is the only app that I downloaded for my computer. I can attest that I’ve used this app for communication for the past year and it’s the most reliable messenger ever. I loved the feature where I can also verify the person in my contacts using this app, and also it made it so easy for the user to change phone number without deleting the old file from your old account. Cons I think Viber had deleted their feature where you can download the files from the app and you can send it to your email. The way I can save the file to my email, and it will come to a excel format. It was very convenient before, but now I cannot see that this feature is still available for viber.
