The end-to-end encryption adds a layer of security, which I appreciate. I also liked features like group chats, sticker packs, and the ability to make international calls to non-Viber numbers Pros it is free application for all user, group and other small business use Cons While the core messaging and calling features are useful, the app sometimes felt cluttered and not as intuitive compared to other messaging platforms. Switched from [Telegram](https://www.capterra.com/p/180347/Telegram/) I switched from Telegram to Viber mainly for its stronger focus on privacy and security. While Telegram offers great features, I found that Viber’s end-to-end encryption for both messages and calls provided an extra layer of protection that I valued more for personal and professional communications. Calling , chatting feature is very updated and easy to use. Besides we feel quality of communication during calls is loud and clear. We can make a group and follow up activities easily in Viber. Pros For personal and professional use , Viber is a interesting tool, I can easily communicate with co worker and share files and do conversation with maximum privacy. For considering friends who stays abroad ,normally I use Viber to contact them, it came free for me. Quality of video and audio call most of the time is very good. Cons Right now I don't have any complain about it, most of the problem they continuously updating, last time we face bad network during calling, but last couple of month , I didn't experience it. Just use one of the many other free messaging apps that don't bombard your nervous system with ads & obnoxious ringtones Pros That you can edit messages indefinitely after sending them. The emoticons used to be nice until they imposed a new set of emoticons on you which are very generic and ugly, and to go to the old ones you have to go out of your way Cons The ads on the Windows PC version at least are extremely intrusive. This alone makes this app unusable for me. Even worse is that the ringtone when somebody calls on Viber is very obnoxious and they didn't think to make this as a setting that you could turn on and off. Deleting the wave file doesn't help as the app just recreates it once it updates itself (again the user has no way to deny those auto updates which is once again rubbish software writing) Review Source SM Shriya M. Cons 1) File Sharing Limitations - file size and storage duration 2) Automatic Media Saving - which can lead to burst storage consuming.
