Sending videos, messages, audio clips, files are so easily through viber. And also it facilitates the video and audio calls incorporating group calls. Its really advanteneous to use the viber for daily conversations. Not only that, i am having my school group in viber. So that we can share our feelings and messages with our school friends as well quickly. Cons Even though i am using this software frequently, i am experiencing some of drawbacks in viber. In case if we are offline, the messages and calls receiving at that time is not accurately displayed to us. Unless it shows the time when we came online back. If it could be modified in the application, it would be better to know at what time the other persons wanted to contact us and the importance. Otherwise if we felt that we received the call once we came online, we will tends to disturb them in their unconvenient time especially in foreign countries where the time difference a matter. Like I mentioned, I only used it exclusively for family members. I love the cute stickers and as long as you have a strong internet connection, quality of voice calls is superb. Pros Viber is a chat and VOIP app. You can call viber users or call telephone landlines for a fee. I have been using viber since it came out. I use it exclusively for chatting family members to avoid noise and clutter. Viber is affordable and competitive for making international calls. Although I seldom use it anymore to make phone calls, it still very affordable. I like the chat feature of this app. There are a lot of emoticons and gif's to choose from. It is actively supported and there are a lot of stickers offered in their marketplace which is very cheap. Viber is free to be used among viber users. You can chat and make calls without spending a penny. The voice and sound quality is superb as long as you have a strong internet connection, this app does the work. It also allows for group messaging, ver helpful when you have a group common friends and would like to message them all at the same time. Cons Skype and Whatsapp in my experience have more clarity if you have a weak internet connection. Viber is no longer as popular as before because of competition. However, the fact that a recent update suddenly locked me out of my account and effectively required me to re-register has created major problems; I can no longer access my chats and contacts even though they are backed up on icloud. Not only is there no alternative way for me to access my account, (the sim card on which I registered the account is no longer active) customer service is very poor. There is no way to talk to anyone on the phone and the staff answering the emails do not seem to listen to the specific problem and to actually provide assistance or a work-around. In short, the app works well as long as you don't get locked out or need support from customer service. Pros The app is very easy to use and functions well. Cons The App updated and locked me out of my account, effectively cutting me off from my chat history.
