Another things is the backup - pictures and videos are sometimes lost and cannot be recovered. It's good for casual chatting and group conversations. Recently they added the feature of sending the original size media, which is really helpful for not losing image/video quality. Scribbling/doodle feature is also nice and can bring some fun into the conversation. Reply function is also nice and I'm really glad they added it. The integrated Google translate feature can also be very useful, especially for multilingual chats. Cons Logging into the same account from different devices has always been a bit of a hustle for me. Somehow the app managed to open new accounts or register the same numbers for multiple accounts every time I tried logging in on a new device. But might be an issue on my side only. This app has given them confidence in using some technology without the negative feelings so it’s a keeper. Pros This app is really easy to install and use. There are regular promotions in the app allowing users to use sticker packs to personalise their messages and show personality. Cons There hasn’t been much negativity to this app but it would be nice to have more rights to the ability to brand the users apps. Viber has been beneficial to me, and I encourage my friends to use it for better communication. Though there are some features that I dislike about Viber, the benefits of Viber have made my experience worthwhile. Pros Viber allows me to send and receive free messages and calls; it is convenient and cost-effective, especially when the interlocutor is located in another country. Users who have installed the application are automatically picked and added to the buddy list, so it does not require permanent authorisation. It allows you to form a chat group with up to 100 members and receive Push notifications even when the app is turned off. Cons In order to use Viber you need an internet connection, either it is Wifi or data. This is not an actual problem for me, but it might be for others. Sometimes the quality of calls or videocalls is not that good. Also the video chat quality is better than other messaging apps, the display of network quality is also helpful for the communicators. The stickers and wallpapers are fun to use as well. Pros What I like the most about Viber is its availability globally, it is also supported by data so wifi isn't always needed. Cons Viber has already improved in so many ways compared to the first time I've used it. As I work as a QA there might be several situations when I need to talk with software engineers in non-working hours and Viber is a perfect platform for that purpose as many of my colleagues are using it even in non-working hours. Pros First of all it is very user-friendly. Even if you are a first time user you can navigate quickly and understand how the app works. It allows you have chat with your colleagues, create group with them and also organize video calls with them. Last but not least it has a cool emojis and stickers(which is important for me as I love them a lot) Cons It automatically saves the files that are send to you via Viber. This decreases your phone's available memory and as a result your telephone starts to work much slower. Pros What I like most about this software is that I do not have to create an account to use it. I simply can use my mobile number and start calling and texting others. Viber has cool stickers that light up your conversations. Viber has more than hundred million users around the world. Because of that, there is nothing to worried about the usefulness of this software. Comparing to direct calls Viber calls are cheaper since it only uses data.
