EyeOnTask replaces several self developed tools and many Excel sheets. It makes the different processes easy and prevents mistakes. Especially the integration of the app for the fieldworkers with the back office improved efficiency.

Pros

EyeOnTask comes with an enormous amount of standard features which can be configured to the requirements. All features are integrated within the software but also over the different user interfaces like the web-interface, the apps and the plugins. Several financial features for the European market where missing, but added on my request within six weeks. The price model is very acceptable. For the company I advised the cost was even less than the "free" open source solutions when support was taken into consideration. There is good support although it is only in English.

Cons

The integration with other software is limited. A direct connection with the accounting software my client uses is not available ( currently solved with an export/import). I however had a good discussions with the people behind EyeOnTask and they are now working on adding a mapping tool. With this tool it would be possible for consultants like me to configure the connections with third party software.

EyeOnTask is one complete system which can be configured to the requirements other than Bitrix where many plugins of different vendors are needed. And the pricing model is much more friendly than Syntess.

### "Software with great value for money!"

EyeOnTask has allowed us to keep good records of all our contract and services to clients. The subscription price is definitely returned with great value! However, speed of site has been rather slow lately, and the failure of old functions with every update is frustrating. Hope to see improvements in that moving forward.

Pros

Responsiveness of the software team that listens to our suggestions and requests. Love the constant development of new functions to enhance our productivity.

Cons

Updates without notification, changing functions without notice. Whenever there's an update, some old functions will fail to work. Developers should be more thorough in their testing before going live. Inability to attach videos to jobs has been a hassle.

Eye on task has made such an improvement on the efficiency of the office. Before EyeOnTask we thought we were at full capacity with regards to our engineers but this how shown us that with the correct tools there is always ways to improve.

Pros

It makes it very easy to manage hundreds of contracts and thousands of jobs. It has all we needed which includes job management tracking, engineer scheduling, inventory/stock, quotations and invoicing.

Cons

It takes a little while to get used to how everything links, but once you do it all makes so much sense.

Overall experience was good. Was able to get the job done efficiently with the tools provided. The convenience of the app was a strong point.

Pros

The dynamic reporting. Being abke to generate reports that are easy to understand and effective. As well as being able to share them with the client or just have thwm on record.

Cons

Some of the frustration dealing with third parties. Somw of the process when integrating certain companies such as steipe or zapier, it could get annoying at times.

Pros

The responsive customer support has helped implement additional requests. Issues are fixed quickly and directly. Easy and clear UI.

Cons

Could be more robust with more features, but I see things are being added. I think inventory could be improved.

The onboarding and support have been excellent. We use the platform to track service calls and contracts for our electrical company.

Pros

Easy to set up. Eliminated the need for paper systems. Has good workflow tools from call to billing. Integrated time keeping.

Cons

It's a good thing. It has too many features. I don't use many of the apps' features. The interface appears dated.

Pros

It's a great value for the price we pay and whenever there is an issue with the system, our contact at EyeOnTask is quick to respond and either try to fix the issue or fix it.

Cons

There are times when the system is being updated and it goes down but we are not notified beforehand to be prepared for it.

During the set up phase, the support team were always on hand. I've had the odd "how to" interactions with support and they have responded promptly with definitive answers or come back quickly when they have had to check with develops.

Pros

Fresh, clean look, strong reporting, attentive support team and willing to listen to suggestions, which have been implemented. Clean clinet reports and good automation. Great for managing teams

Cons

The web portal is strong but needs a revisit. At time of writing, the web portal is version 0.0

My overall experience with EyeOnTask has been very positive. The software is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and makes managing field service operations much more efficient. Scheduling jobs, tracking technicians, and sending invoices have become much faster and more organized. The mobile app is especially helpful for field staff and has made communication smoother

Pros

The system makes scheduling jobs, tracking work progress, and communicating with field staff very simple. The mobile app is especially helpful because it allows technicians to access job details, update tasks, and collect signatures while onsite — even without internet access. This has helped save time, reduce paperwork, and keep everyone on the same page. The support team is also responsive and willing to customize features when needed, which makes the experience even better.

Cons

One improvement I would like to see is in the receipt and payment tracking process. Currently, when a payment is received, the system does not generate a proper receipt with a unique reference or accessible receipt number. This makes it difficult for our accounting team to track and reconcile payments efficiently. Adding an automatic, numbered receipt feature would greatly enhance the accounting workflow and make the system even more complete.

So far so good.

Pros

We found it very easy of use, although there are plenty of new features that we find on the app and we are implementing those features to our business. All in one solution finally, everything is in one place, reducing the number of processes and paperwork. Our dependence on ms office and emails is getting less and less every day. Our clients love the customer portal and we are getting fewer calls every day from our clients who were asking for progress information on jobs because they can follow every bit from the customer portal with their accounts. Only this feature is enough reason to use Eyeontask. We are extremely pleased with the support service that are reacting in timely manner.

Cons

It would be nice to have some more custom reporting features.

It helped us to get rid of all paperwork and move it all to digital. We saved a lot of time and money. We can now schedule recurring jobs ahead and assign them to field worker’s calendar. Our field workers love the app which they find very friendly to use. The update between the administrator pc and the app is instantly which makes the communication between the administrator and the field workers more efficient. Whenever we needed some help, the Eyeontask support team was more than willing to help us.

Pros

The software has a very responsive and easy to use interface and app. With the newly added calendar feature, we can now plan and manage our field workers day ahead of time. The software has more than enough features to use, like collecting payment on the field, track the service history, customer electronic signature, job time tracker, quotes and estimates, billing and invoicing, dispatching and more..

Cons

Maybe the inventory module needs some extra features but we don’t really use it for now.

Organizing multiple job/contract. better tracking of overall operation.

Pros

The way the scheduler is displayed is really nice, clear to operate. That was why i needed Eye On Task in the first place...to organise my multiple little contract/job and it does exactly that for me which means, more reliability for my clients and a clearer schedule for me. Everything is synch with the app from my desktop PC. Just give it a try!

Cons

Surely since nothing is perfect but its actually more than i need. Maybe some other online payment method for the invoice system...apart from paypal.

With EoT I could simply create a job for a fieldworker and send it to him. I create jobs in advance and provide this to other field workers. It was easy to use, straightforward, fast and saved me a lot of time.
