May 21, 2019 5.0 I'm not sure what problem this is trying to solve but it is a pretty good implementation. I'd take it on a walk in the woods or use it on a mysterious spider in the house to see if it is a problem, though! Pros This isn't so much a reverse image search as an attempt to figure out what the focal point of your shot is and search that. It's great if you're taking a picture of an animal, new clothes or something with a distinctive look. Cons You're limited here visually. No abstract concepts - you can't take a picture of the abstract concept of say, Jungian psychology if you want to learn about that. It is aesthetically please from the moment is is accessed. It also provides relevant information so I don't feel like I am going down any rabbit holes when I am doing research. The Microsoft Rewards program is awesome and an added benefit to using this service! Pros This service is easy to use and has all of the features necessary to perform quick and accurate searches. Pros This software will be familiar to anyone who has use Google Lens. You can take a picture and search the web with it. Imagine seeing a flower in the wild or a landmark that you would like to identify and learn more about; simply snap photo and search on Bing. You can even scan barcodes and shipping labels so you don't have to type that long, cumbersome shipping number into your search bar. It's great! Cons Nothing I don't like yet. I haven't had enough time using it to be able to accurately compare it to Google Lens. Bing Visual Search is great for this, since you can just upload the reference and find those similar images with ease. Cons I wish you could limit it to images you can license. But, I love bing. I have been using bing for more than 3 years, have acrued more than 47000 lifetime points. As a regular bing user and microsoft enthusiast, I would like to see the bing visual search at its best. Pros It's quite easy to use. Clean user interface of the bing makes it nice. It is still at a very early stage, needs more training. Cons Out 10 searches it got me 2 correct results. Most of the time, showed only similar products, sometimes not the same product at all. Given an image of clothing, Bing matched images of similar clothing and the brand of the sample image much more accurately than Google. Cons Google Lens outperformed Bing Visual Search on images that contain text. Google more adeptly used the text in the image as a key for search results. This seems like a glaring omission from Bing. Cons I really don't find any cons but since all of them are using mostly Google it might be a bit different to start with Bing, purely emotional nothing technical, and is a good option to go for.
