I was taking pictures of almost everything in the office! It almost never got the search correct. So, I decided to use the forward-facing camera and that turned out to be even more fun. It started comparing me to celebrities. Cons If it were more accurate, I could see some very useful business application. I even searched my Apple Watch, but it deduced that it was a shotgun. ...Maybe because it was an Apple product on Microsoft software. Pros The Bing Visual Search is easy to use and mostly ready to go. In my experience, Bing always brought back better and more relevant search results using the standard Bing engine, and now Microsoft is applying that same thorough approach to a visual platform. Pros It's good for shopping, cooking even traveling etc... At first i was skeptic since im mostly Google user and i thought that bing wouldn't be good enough and that i will get a lot of wrong results but that was not the case here. April 16, 2019 4.0 The tutorials are very good and, before you know it you realize just how cool and useful visual search is. With Google, it is okay, but Bing Visual Search is far more user friendly, and visually superior. Pros The interface is pleasant and easy to use. The ease of use and decent results make it outshine th eother search engines. Cons Realistically I have no complaints. I think recognition of low res pictures will improve as the platform evolves. Pros Being able to use the phone to instantly search for products just through images is brilliant, I used Bing Visual Search and found some of the clothing that i really wish to buy when browsing through web pages. The foundation is here but the real opportunity here is in the details. Pros Simply take a photo and let Bing do the rest! Great photo processing from the internet to what you snap a picture of on your mobile. Speed is very good and the results are almost spot-on. Very handy tool when you need a quick response. Cons Unlike Google, you can't talk to it, so that is a minus for me. The details I find in results could be a lot more detailed and improved. I also do not see any type of privacy mode, which could be a concern to some users. Image tagging is also non-existent. I think some sort of barcode reader would also be a big plus for future releases. I recently used it to identify a breed of cat; this powerful ability can easily be extrapolated to unusual workplace needs such as identifying pieces of unknown technology or solving unfamiliar problems. Pros This product is very useful outside of a business context; it allows you to take a picture and find whatever is in the picture. Bing is already on par or above Google in quality and relevance in my opinion, so adding this function places them a step ahead. Cons I haven't yet found as many business problems that can be solved with this function; it seems more of a personal benefit than one that would benefit my corporation as a whole. Pros It’s a really excellent search tool when fact-checking actually. I run an image through it along with tineye and google images now. Cons Honestly there’s not much to complain about.
