Civitas Learning Reviews
"There are way better tools out there. "
Overall: My experience with Civitas has utterly sapped my enjoyment of my role. I used to work with our end users to develop new workflows and strategies in our old tool, now I spend my days chasing down glitches I could fix easily on my end with more access, but instead have to wait months to go through their processing.
Pros: The illume tool has some interesting features, and if executed correctly our users would enjoy having a bit more control over their calendar groups.
Cons: The entire rest of the process. From the over-promise, under-deliver implementation where basic, common sense features were dangled in front of us than revealed to require a costly customization; to the horrible customer service ticketing system where you get to wait five weeks to be assigned to an incompetent engineer only to hear months after the reporting entity has forgotten what the issue was that it can't be resolved. The tool itself is clunky and several components do not work as intended or do not work together as they should, rather than fix the root issue they treat every issue in a silo, fail to replicate a surface level issue, and then call the concern resolved while end users continue to struggle.
"Civitas Inspire"
Overall: Civitas has a great idea that has been poorly executed. Tech issues will be the downfall of Civitas
Pros: Civitas Inspire is a tool that helps manage note taking with clients. Great at basics and gives a quick view/summary about a clients info
Cons: Civitas has had major tech issues during the time I've used the service. Delays processing notes. Errors recording notes (not appearing) or duplicating notes seemingly randomly. Contant errors and downtime ever week it seems.
