The database is incredibly helpful, making tasks more efficient and streamlined

Cons

The nutrition info sometimes isn't the newest. It costs more than some other programs, and I wish the database had more stuff in it.

My overall experience is that the platform is simple to navigate, easy to use, and very helpful for staying up to date with all nutritional label requirements.

Pros

The staff is extremely helpful, patient, and kind—an absolute pleasure to work with. Using helps my team work more efficiently and provides quick turnaround times for our customers.

Cons

Some features take time to fully learn, especially when first getting started, but the platform becomes very intuitive with use.

I needed to guide my product development based on some nutritional guidelines. Once the guidelines were established, it was easy to create and modify recipes to achieve the results needed.

Pros

It is extremely cost effective for the work that we were trying to accomplish

The database at times seem to have glitches. Support is always available to work through the issues.

### "Simple Interface, Good Feature Set, Excellent Price"

The customer service reps are prompt, friendly and very good at solving problems (my one problem). And then the software got changed so that no one else would have that issue. That's pretty amazing.

Pros

The software made it quick and easy to produce accurate, professional looking nutrition labels. Customizing the way the information is displayed was a welcome feature as well.

Cons

It would be nice if there was a way to add a barcode or QR code to the label. But don't let that limitation be a deal breaker. This software, for the price works very well.

The Genesis R&D Food Labeling was WAY over my budget as a start-up. I chose not to demo it when I found out the price as there was no point. Once I am bigger, I might look at it for other functionality. But likely not.

I really like how user friendly the software is! My students and I can quickly learn the software and generate accurate labels for our clients. I would highly recommend their software as it is a great value for money and the customer support is great.

Pros

I really appreciate how quick and knowledgeable their customer support is. They respond promptly and provide great answers. They have one of the best customer supports I've seen.

Cons

I wish that the software had every type of NFT label that you could generate with Health Canada as an option (and have it based off the ADS of the package), but they can design the niche label types for us when it is required.

(specifically Noelia) has been very helpful, understanding and quick in handling our project. She was patient in her approach which is important for us as we are a startup.

Honestly I do not see anything negative. Maybe the online model needs to be a little easier for us to enter values for items not available in the list. Also please add more ethnic ingredients to your list.

Overall, my experience of using for meal planning was amazing and I would like to recommend it to other potential consumers.

Pros

Providing information regarding calorie content, macro and micro-nutrients is the most important feature of , I believe. It is user friendly and easy to understand. Since I am using Menusano for planning my own meals, it has become significant part of my daily life.

Cons

It was little challenging in the beginning to know all the features specifically how to create a recipe label. However, it got much easier with every use.

Extremely beneficial for the general populace, this product has proven invaluable not only to manufacturers but also to individuals concerned about their health. It has greatly assisted me in selecting healthier ingredients based on nutritional information , and I thoroughly enjoy crafting my own recipes.

Cons

I've just started using it recently and haven't had a chance to explore much. The only problem I encountered was when I tried to access 'How To Use - Guides' and clicked on 'How to create a recipe.' The page took a long time to load, which was quite frustrating. As a result, I went back and decided to watch MenuSano tutorial videos and read articles on how to use it, which worked smoothly.

Lots of ingredients missing from library. Too many custom basic ingredients are missing. Looks like it is geared mostly toward folks that use branded and or processed foods.

Hi Norman, We recommend deselecting the USDA branded foods database when searching as it is quite large. This way you'll find a lot more of the basic ingredients more commonly used. MenuSano has a built in AI tool in the search so that commonly used items will begin to appear at the top of the search. ### "Does what we need"

Overall it has everything we need to make NFTs for our packaging that follow Canadian laws. There are a bunch of little things they could do to make the product a bit more user friendly but it does the job we need for a decent price.

Pros

Overall the product is pretty easy to use. It can be time consuming if multiple recipes go into one final product. We only use it to get NFTs. I like that you can choose different shapes/sizes. The database is a good size and has a lot of the products we use but not all. I like that you can add custom ingredients though.

Cons

My main gripe is how slow it can be to look at different recipes. I wish it would default to just showing you the whole list of your recipes, not just short little pages and then you have to search for it. Then you have to click on the name of it and then click edit. I'd much rather have it default to editing when you click the title. It's very slow when you're flipping back and forth between recipes. It would be nice if you could also toggle an "autosave" of the recipes or at the very least have it ask something like "are you sure you want to leave this page? You haven't saved your recipe" because it's very easy to forget to save it.

We love that the software is made by a Canadian company and is affordable. We use the software mostly to compile Nutrition Facts Tables for our customers. The software is easy to navigate and if we do have questions their support is responsive, knowledgeable and are happy to help.

Pros

The personalized service is incredible. We needed a format that was not already available and they delivered within the week! We would never have had this type of response from another supplier. The owner even called to ensure they were on the right track with the formatting. We also appreciate the web based platform as we do not have to run virtual machines or be on a specific platform to be able to use the product.

Cons

The only hiccup we had was taken care of by the team! We needed a specific layout that was not already available, but is it now in the templates. Thanks team

Pros

We have been using for over 2.5 years and it's been handy from the start. We sell pre-made salads to grocery store so we had to find a good and easy program to have our nutritional values on our labels. We are always creating new salads so our old and new recipes are always at the same place. We recommended to any new or older business!

Cons

At first, it was a little bit overwhelming but you get the hang of it quickly. The only part at the moment that confuse me a bit is when I manually enter a new product.

### "Old references for Daily Values"

I used this software according one of our customer's request. Not a good experience.

Pros

Easy to use- Customer service was always accessible but they gave me the wrong link of Health Canada for your references

Cons

I figured out that the final values are strange and when followed it up with supporting team and references, I figured out that is using the old DV% tables of CFIA and FDA for calculating the data. The customer support gave me a wrong link of Health Canada which is not for the industry. Health Canada has made some changes in some regulations and numbers from 2016. The most updated references are for 2016 but Menusano is using the older references unfortunately. I can't trust anymore. Please update your references.

Cons

Not always up to date on nutrition panel requirements (ie,. I don’t see a feature allowing the grouping of sugars in the ingredients list). The price is high compared to other programs. Database could be more comprehensive.
