Landscape Maintenance and Residential Construction Estimator Construction Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "I've tried them all - This is the one" November 3, 2025 5.0 I'm a landscape maintenance and construction estimator. I use Property Intel to map and measure all of my projects, whether from aerials or blueprints. I even use it as design software when our designer is overloaded. It has made my job much easier and streamlined compared to other options. I celebrate with each of their updates and improvements because I spend 40 hours of my life every week using this software. The customer service has always been immediately accommodating and the developers care very much about their clients needs. Pros I can't pick just one thing. They're great across the board. Editing tools and aerial imaging are high quality. They're constantly pushing quality of life updates and introducing new features. The customer service is top notch. Maps I submit to them for measurements are returned very fast and accurate, usually the next day. They are cost effective compared to the competition. Cons There's a few minor bugs that need ironed out. It's due to them rolling out so many new features regularly. It's inevitable when sending new features live, and they wrap back around and clean things up. Examples of bugs for your understanding: One of their export options has layering issues that is really only a problem in niche circumstances. Their other export option is perfect, so it's not a big deal. If you add an image to a project, sometimes it won't be there when you reload it and will have to add it again. There's a couple other minor things like this. They'll fix it all in time. PropertyIntel and provide me with data that I can collaborate with my clients through email and get signed contracts that our customers love because they know exactly what we are going to do in their yard. They get a live copy of their yard and they love it! Thanks PropertyIntel for having amazing support! Pros PropertyIntel is like having another employee that I don't have to pay to show up for work! I can collect data on potential or existing jobsites with out ever leaving my office. I love this program! PropertyIntel gives me the control over my project management from start to finish. September 4, 2025 4.0 Overall, I think PropertyIntel is a great estimating tool and it makes it very easy and accurate to get fast numbers for maintenance services and everything in between. I think it is well worth the money. Pros PropertyIntel is very user-friendly. They make frequent updates to their system and are very easy to work with. The cloud version is great and helps when there are multiple people working in the platform. It makes project management easy when it all flows together. Getting estimates out to customers faster and turning sales. Cons Some features need tweaking. When you launch a property from Aspire, it pulls the default catalog, but when you launch from PropertyIntel, it pulls the catalog that is made by our company. It needs to be fixed to automatically pull the company catalog when being launched. Review Source LN Liz N. Now that I have been using it for a few months, it is so much more powerful than LandOne Pros Ease of use, great customer service! All previous takeoffs were uploaded into PropertyIntel seamlessly. Cons One in awhile the screen shot downloads are a bit glitchy but they notify you they are working on a fix...and then, it is back to working correctly Switched from [Aspire](https://www.capterra.com/p/161544/Aspire/) Access to Landone was ending. Project manager Consumer Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Great Work PI" November 7, 2025 4.0 Great! it has helped us with several aspects of landscaping and estimating. it works fairly well and is easy to teach to others. I also appreciate the improvements that have been made over the past year or so. They have made the experience much better. Pros like the ability to filter through different angles/times of properties the most. The ability to filter through years/months helps us get a little history on each of our properties/projects i may be working on. Cons Text boxes with background do not rotate well. the white background is often distorted. Export image quality could be improved as well. It would be great if the text boxes could be expanded by clicking and dragging the text box corner rather than having to scroll over and adjust the slider. Review Source RL Ron L. Operations Support Farming Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Property Intel, The complete all in one Estimating Tool " February 4, 2025 5.0 Overall I am extremely satisfied with Property Intel. It has changed the way that we estimate. It has changed the delivery times of estimates, previously it would take several weeks to turn an estimate, now we can have them out in a couple of days. It has allowed our crews to be more informed about the jobs that are working with Maps that can be shared to the crews. The Maps also provide an excellent back up for what areas are bid into the job and what services are to be performed in the areas. The Maps are color coded by mower size which allows the crews to know which mower(s) they need for the job. It also allows for a great overview of the property which is useful in job setup. The support staff has been extremely supportive and attentive to my needs and concerns. This includes the self inflicted issues that I have created. Everyone that I have dealt with has been quick to respond and quick to get a resolution. The Office Hours webinars that are offered by \[sensitive content hidden\] and others whom I am sure take parts that are not readily seen, are a great learning and communication tool. I enjoy being able to see the New functions that are being added to the system. Usually when I get to the point that I find something that I think would be useful, it seems to be already in the works on the roadmap for PI. The ability to have all of the information synced with Aspire has also been invaluable. The improvements that have been made with Templates and Work Order Creation have made presentations of enhancements a more visually appealing process. Being able to pull up an area of a property and add our kits to the Pi map which in turn will sync it back to the work order eliminates a lot of error and allow us to give a clear concise picture of the scope we are proposing. Pros The ease of use. I utilize Pi Complete for most all of my base measurements for Property Maintenance quotes. Using PI Complete and Property has allowed me to support 4 business developers and 6 Branch Locations with almost all of the Maintenance Estimates that we generate. Cons I need some way to limit changes to the sections in the Projects. I would like to be able to lock down Default Sections/ Takeoffs so they cannot be modified by different users in the system. I have been told by coworkers that it is not user friendly but i think it is a greater program because of it. the landscape architect enjoys the program like i do too Pros i like that additional photos can be added, i do not use that feature much because the 2D 3D aspect of design creation but it is nice. i like that i can create new area names and zoom in close to the ground. Map information is updated nicely too Cons There is a glitch with some areas of the map and I am unable to see or have access to the address. I have tried to view the space different times and it will still not load. Pros The ease of use and being able to save time doing measurements from the software. It also helps with project management when I am able to give crew a highlighted work area. Project manager Construction Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Property intel" January 31, 2025 2.0 a little tough getting use to it but a least I get full view of property and not the black out areas like in Ipave Pros that i can transfer projects from Ipave to the new system. map quality and viewing Cons I'm still getting use to it but you cant correct outlining perimeters when marking out areas, you have to delete what you have done and start over. i wish you could click on a marked out area and it would tell you the square footage like Ipave had, i did notice it puts the square footage in small print sometimes, not all the time. you cant change color schemes and add them to other titles like Ipave Review Source LK Leah K. It's a user-friendly software that I utilize often in my role as a Landscape Designer and Estimator. Pros My favorite aspect of the software is the user-friendly take-off capability for pricing landscape design installations. It is a clear and easy way to visually see the layout of the plants with the colors and a fast way to see how the plants are spaced in object groups. I also really love the addition of the NearMaps Satellite Images. These high-res images allow me to take an overhead view of a property that I am designing--it is a much clearer and more accurate image than using Google Maps/Google Earth. The measurements are already scaled and, in at least some areas, you can view previous images from earlier years that allow you to see the site in different seasons. It's extremely helpful in getting an accurate basemap for landscape designs. Cons I do wish that there was a way to change the type of measurement without losing the take-off. If you are switching from area to volume, you lose the work that you have already done. I wish there was more control over the color and opacity for different materials--such as a color wheel. This would save a step in some of the simpler landscape designs and would allow me to drop in a design with the takeoffs already complete without have to do a separate page to show the client in a pretty way. The software pays for itself over time with the money you'll be able to recoup in efficiency and more accurate estimates. Pros We love the ability to accurately measure a property without the need to actually GO to the property. It has been a huge time and efficiency saver when it comes to putting together estimates for lawn care and snow removal. We particularly appreciate Go iLawn for it's ability to not just measure the property as a whole, but to distinguish different areas of the property, thereby allowing for easy and accurate calculation of, say, just the grassy areas (minus landscape beds and concrete areas) for mowing estimate, or just the landscape beds for purposes of calculating maintenance quotes. As a landscape designer, I use an exported property file from Go iLawn to create an overlay of the property in my design software. This helps ensure the house, sidewalks, trees and other structures on the property are positioned accurately before I start designing the new landscape. It has saved me several times from having to make an extra trip out to a property to take another measurement. But to be clear, for all the landscape designers out there, Go iLawn IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR A SITE VISIT. Cons Not the biggest fan of the pricing structure. First, you must have a subscription to use the software, but even with a subscription you are limited to 10 "free" searches per month. If you need to perform more than 10 searches in a month, then you have to purchase additional searches starting at $60 for 10 additional searches. Helps with more accurate estimates, which means better pricing, more jobs won. Pros I have used this program for years and it continues to improve. Recently Goilawn now is with Aspire who we use for the rest of our business. Thats a huge help that it is now integrated with Aspire. Huge time saver and estimating more accurately is a pro. We can win more jobs and have a more efficient teams, which means more profit. Cons Does it do everything, no. But I don't need it to. I have landscape design software for that. Pros Very user friendly for designs and takeoffs. Easy to put together a design and an estimate using this software. Cons I wish the quality was just a little bit better. It feels like, our install crews have told me this, the drawings are like a child drew them. Is there anyway to up graded to move away from this quality? Pros Great tool to measure areas and appears to accurate. Cons Property lines are not accurate. If there is an existing project and you pull up a new project with the same address it does not tell you that you already have a project with address and your charged for the lookup. In addition, many addresses you're not able to measure because of a poor picture but you're charged for the lookup anyway. I was told to just call so I can get a credit but I do not have time to make that call in all cases. We should only be charged if you make measurements versus lookups. Like I've said before, it has made doing takeoffs much easier than doing it by hand the way I used to. I use this software everyday and I'm very pleased. Pros I like how easy the software is to use, once you learn all the ins and outs of everything it makes doing takeoffs much easier than methods I have used in the past. Cons When uploading plans, the quality gets a little messed up compared to my PDF version, especially if the plans were hard to read to begin with it makes it harder to do a takeoff. With the cut-out tool, I'm only able to cut things out in straight lines, sometimes the things I'm cutting out have curves and I'd like to maybe see that changed in the future Review Source GC Gabriel C. November 2, 2020 5.0 The customer service is fantastic and helpful! We enjoy using this! Pros The software is incredibly easy to use! Coming from a competitor to this was a breeze. It is user friendly, straightforward, and intuitive. We have had multiple people train on using this software and each has learned it quickly. We love that our employees can hit the ground running with this after a few uses. It's been a tremendous asset for our team. Cons It's frustrating that others can log into a project at the same time if they aren't communicating. Then the work that one or both has done is deleted. It'd be nice if there was a way for the software to recognize if someone is currently in the program. It'd also be cool if you could click on one section then change it to a different thing- like if an area was measured for a certain groundcover but you want it to be changed to a different one. We are on/using Landone everyday/allday, and will continue to use Landone. Pros This is software completely changed how we do takeoffs, going from hand written notes and measurements and tallying up counts at the end, to having Landone cut our takeoff time by at least half is amazing. I have really liked all the updates that have been implemented since we first starting using the software. The measuring of areas and counting of specific materials is the biggest help on our side. Cons This not really anything that I dislike about the software, but the more and more that we've been using it the more features I would like to see. We have been using Landone more and more to draw and develop schematic landscape and irrigation plans. If we had more irrigation specific symbols such as valves or sprays, I know this is specific for landscape and irrigation industry but we have enjoyed using Landone for all or our plan needs. Another feature that comes with us drawing landscape and irrigation plans, is if we had the ability to add like a legend or schedule where we could add our symbols with the corresponding descriptions. Pros Two years ago our team was currently using a desktop takeoff software, making it difficult to work remotely, review projects in the field or with clients, and audit employees work. Making a switch to LandOne has made all those difficulties a reality with its cloud based takeoff software. Cons Being a newer company to the scene, LandOne has come leaps are bounds from where it started with minimal features to now an extensive takeoff tool. The occasional bug does arise, but \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] & his team is always very prompt in fixing any issues & his customer support is second to none.
