Cons Some of the newest images were taken after it has snowed and are worthless but you still get charged for a search. Pros The ease-of-use and updated property images is the best feature of this product. Cons The price is the least attractive part of the program. My company encourages me quarterly to see what other take off software is out there for comparison case, and I am always happy to keep using LandOne. One time I hade an issue with a bug in the software and the \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] video chatted with me about it and that kind of service speaks volumes. Pros Very easy to use. Stores past take-offs on the cloud for easy reference as most jobs sell and go to production months, sometimes a year after I estimate. Cons I got in on this software early and were some bugs on the way. Customer service is very attentive and those bugs were fixed within a week. New, useful features are released frequently and video instruction on how to use the new features are released wit it. Easy to set up and use. Cons When items are added, you need to have options to keep the items in the order that they are entered, or different ways to organize the report. Pros There is no other software on the market that can turn a novice into an expert faster than LandOne. Learning to takeoffs is just the start. Once the skills are mastered on taking dimensions it is a short step towards expert layout of landscape designs and scaled instructions that crews can execute from with far less communication and Managment. Once you make a two week investment, you'll regret waiting so long. Cons Although intergration is underway, it does not yet link with assemblies in Aspire where actual production stats could be tied back to assemblies for bidding hours from by units of measure obtained through LandOne... Pros The overall ease of use and generally high resolution are awesome. The increased accuracy and decreased time to measure sites vs. doing so by measuring wheel is phenomenal. Cons It would a welcome change if measured areas could be split into multiple sections, and then the separate sections could be put into different categories. It’s much cheaper than other programs and easier to use. LandOne helps us save time and money. Pros LandOne is so easy to use! It helps me ensure that my plant counts are correct and I don’t have to worry about losing count if I’m distracted. I especially like the downloadable material lists. This saves time because I can copy and paste instead of re-typing materials into an RFQ. I also like being able to do takeoffs from a tablet/iPad. Cons Measuring areas and counting plants on an iPad could be smoother but I can usually get what I need. Everything we do is in the field, this helps us to be in the field and continue to put estimates out. Pros 1\. The ease of use on my iPad. Creating new projects as well as doing takeoffs in the field are simple 2. The ability to upload satellite images in the form of a pdf for takeoffs. Pros I like that Land One is very user friendly and easy to learn for non techy people. Near maps up loads are great and very functional for more than just landscape designing. Cons I wish that the icons used for plant material, hardscape material ect ... were easier to add to or more were in the system. Not a lot of choices, can make the plan look generic.
