After replacing our old kanban card system with KanbanBOX we saw a company wide reduction of onhand inventory by more than 20%! As the designated KanbanBOX SME for the company and facilitator of training I take immense pride in knowing this impact from this software has saved us so much time and energy in inventory management. Pros I have been using KanbanBOX since my company first implemented it back in 2023 and I have to say I am blown away by the efficiency it offers! The software is lean oriented with a focus on supply chain and does an excellent job at tracking down that pesky age old question of average daily usage through a concept called CMax. Any mid-size or larger company can easily see cost improvements within a year of diligent implementation. At our company with tens of thousands of SKUs we fully implemented the software over the course of roughly one year thanks to the simple user interface on both the app and website. And to top it all off, even though KanbanBOX is based in Italy they were always more than happy to hop on the phone with us in the US and discuss our questions/comments/concerns. Cons The only con I can mention is the language barrier. While training folks on the software I often ran into issues that delayed early adoption due to the wording of specific portions of either the KanbanBOX provided powerpoint slides or sometimes in the software itself. That being said this was more prevalent years ago than it is today and did not prevent the adoption of the software by the company. Pros La formazione iniziale è stata ben strutturata, lo abbiamo implementato in pochi giorni, la creazione di nuovi legami e la manutenzione degli esistenti è davvero facile e veloce grazie ai suggerimenti degli algoritmi. Gli operatori lo usano senza alcun problema. Cons Finora nulla da ridire, non abbiamo riscontrato malfunzionamenti. Per sfruttarlo al meglio va integrarlo con l'ERP. Nel corso della carriera l'ho implementato e sponsorizzato l'implementazione in tre diverse aziende, sempre con successo. Il vantaggio maggiore è rendere completamente trasparente la situazione del magazzino ed estremamente facile la sua gestione, contribuendo a distribuire le responsabilità attraverso l'organizzazione. Pros La facilità d'uso e la curva di apprendimento praticamente verticale per un utente alla prima esperienza. Permette di rendere trasparente la gestione dello stock, con informazioni aggiornate in tempo reale. The Kanban was easy to use. Pros It was quick process, easy to use. Didn't have to receive an email from a customer buyer to make a release on their PO. Cons When a customer purchase order was complete it was still sending releases. I typed a comment in the Kanban alerting them the PO was complete and shortly after I received another release for the same PO.
