The support we receive has been great. Organizing our data has allowed us to grow as a nonprofit and allows us to grow our mission. Pros TYR has proved to be an invaluable asset for Paws-Ability. Our membership list demanded hours to manage each membership drive with no ability to email critical information to our members. TYR provides a membership list, with history of donations from each member, a history of volunteer activities members are interested in plus the ability to send email information to renewing members, non-members or business members with ease. Paws-Ability is a small nonprofit organization, not unlike thousands of small organizations that struggle in today’s technologically advanced world. TYR makes us more efficient and helps us document a history of usable information at our fingertips. The part of TYR that applies to rescue groups is over the top! No more paper files to shuffle and a perfectly organized print out available for each animal in rescue. This printed information provides a vet record for each animal. Every nonprofit that struggles with accumulated data needs TYR. We are better organized with our data and we manage programs that are changing our community. This type of software is normally available only to large companies but now smaller groups can benefit as well. It has really helped Paws-Ability and I am sure would assist other small nonprofits in their mission as well. Cons to be honest, there is nothing about TYR that I do not like. It’s comprehensive, easy to use, and has excellent support. One of the main benefits that we gain is the ability to easily stay in touch with our parrot rescue supporters. This is important as it contributes to our financial bottom line. If you are looking for software to run your rescue or sanctuary you must consider TYR. Cons No complaints . It is all that we need. Pros We love that it can be completely tailored to the specifics of our animal rescue. The customer support is also really good. if we have an issue, it gets resolved very quickly. Cons We wish that it could be put on the cloud so that we could access it anywhere. Rep will work out a problem with you and stay helping you even if it takes all night. (Not that it ever would take that long). They are great to work with if a feature is not there and it is something that is truly a feature that would benefit everyone you will see it in the next upgrade. They are always working to make the program better. Pros To Your Rescue is a very easy program to you. The learning curve is small, and anyone who is a novice computer person would be able to use this program with very little training. Cons To Your Rescue is a desktop program that can't be used anywhere, which is my least liked thing. I do hope that in time the program could be web-based. Review Source TM Teresa M. He is so pleasant to work with. All my concerns have been immediately addressed through revisions and he has been very helpful. I liked the product when I got it, now I love it! Pros This software is so easy to use. As long as you can read, you can use the product. Cons Currently the product is only stand alone but I know an online version is being worked. Reason for choosing To Their Rescue I needed an inexpensive no frills database for our brand new small feral kitten rescue. TYR had what I needed at a great price. I had no idea that the customer service would be EXCELLENT and because of that, I have a program that far exceeds what I was expecting! \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] truly wants to make this software the best possible. Volunteer Fund-Raising Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Excellent Database Tool" November 13, 2020 4.0 \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] at TYR has been inspirational and helpful throughout the time I've been with the Sanctuary, which isn't yet long. The Co-founders of the Charity are not IT users and did struggle with some of the initial processes however \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] put together a PDF guide which is easier to read than the online version. I am now slowly training the Co-founders the basics as they were not using the tool to it's full ability. Thanks \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]! Pros I find the tool extremely easy to use and the workflow is brilliant Cons Nothing really, I am happy using it. The only ideal change would be to have a web version as I work remotely from the Sanctuary so can't help with animal adoption process when not up there. And its mailing list feature makes it possible to stay in touch with our human family either via emails and regular mail. Because of TYR we have both more time to spend with our animals and more money to spend on them. Thank you TYR! Pros The ease of use and the customer support. Cons There is nothing.
