It was hard for us to find a software that met all of our items on our wish list but SafetyAmp has been a perfect match for us. Pros The customization of the platform is one of my favorite aspects. I also like the reporting and analytics. Cons Implementation took a little longer than I expected initially, but overall it went smoothly in the end. It’s user-friendly, keeps us informed in real time, and makes tracking and responding to safety issues much easier. We’ve been able to improve how we handle incidents and spot trends we didn’t see before. While there were a few bumps getting started, the benefits have definitely outweighed the challenges. It's a smart tool that helps us stay proactive instead of reactive. Pros The dashboard is clean and easy to navigate, setting up alerts and reviewing reports took me just minutes. " August 26, 2024 5.0 Our overall experience has been very positive, well above what we have experience with other safety LMS's. Pros I like the clean interface that gives our learners the ability to quickly access the tools they need. The dashboard buttons allow us to complete an incident report, document folders, and Pre-task plans in one click. Also, my customer service experience has been top-tier since our first meeting, through rollout, and still continues now that we are active users. I have worked with many services throughout the years that provide a lower level of customer service once the contract is executed. My experience with has been the complete opposite. The needs of my EHSS program is as much a priority for them now as it was before we signed our contract for services. Cons I wish we had a little bit more flexibility with our incident report forms. For example, when an employee opens an incident form, and chooses the classification we would like to have additional boxes open for information related to that incident. ie., When an employee chooses "Tick Bite," additonal boxes open so that they can give the additional needed information for the bite, instead of having to open and complete a separate form. I would also love to be able to send automatic notifications for certain classifications. For example, our Fleet Manager would be automatically notified whenever anyone chose "Vehicle Accident" as a classification. They are responsive to our needs and have added "bells and whistles" to suggestions we brought to their attention. Their customer service is outstanding Pros This is the first safety system that allows you to customize audits, inspections, accidents, and other forms to meet your needs. Our employees are able to turn in hazards online as they find them, allowing Management to correct these issues in a timely manner. Cons When using a module constructed with several forms, the form will not share information between the forms. I have approached safetyamp with alot of ideas and they are very communicative and cater to my requests in a very timely manner. They have tanken us from numerous systems and paper documents to an all in one system. The overall functionality and ease of use has made many jobs at E-Tank easier. The system was easy to learn and even easier to implement company wide. Everyone at SafetyAmp has been very knowlegeable and easy to learn from. Pros The ability to take our company from multiple systems, SOP's and paper documents to an All-In-One package. Cons has been able to find solutions to all of my current needs and have been open to hearing my idea's with advancements and improvements on things that would benefit all.The abundance of emails that the system sends out is my only complaint. I have had to add fake emails to many employees including myself due to the amount of emails being received. I would like to see an option for notification settings. November 15, 2023 4.0 Really nothing but positive to say here. did not check all of our boxes on things we needed, but definitely gets the job done. If you are a little creative, you will be able to use SafetyAmp to get what you need. Pros Customer service was second to none during onboarding and continues to be so. Can't say enough about their team. Outstanding! Cons Not a lot of negative, but i would have liked more practical training or advice in setting up compliance groups to reduce issues later on employee training profiles. They really know their stuff. Really the main reason was customer service. We have had a dedicated person from day 1 from SafetyAmp that helps us with most every issue we have and has made improvements to their system based on our feedback when it makes sense. You can't ask for a better team to collaborate with. What are you waiting for? You will need to put some time and effort in the implementation process. However, we are now starting to reap the benefits of the system. we are shaving hours and hours of time from tasks that previously have taken substantially longer. Review Source DH Dale H. Cons Pulling and sorting data seems limited, especially when looking for raw data, not just statistics. Having to upload certain items like certifications via a CSV file instead of just being able to fill out the fields directly is annoying. Pros Simple and easy way to document and manage safety. Vehicle accidents, OSHA recordable injuries and incidents are easy to manage with this tool. April 1, 2021 5.0 We are really just getting started but so far everything has been going smoothly and we are extremely happy with the software and the customer service. Pros We love that it is internet-based and easily accessible to our employees, contractors, or visitors. It is very straightforward and easy for people to learn to create forms. As soon as we rolled out our implementation our employees all had more ideas for digitization. It has truly been a great tool for us. The customer service has also been amazing. Any questions, concerns, or change requests have been handled super quickly, kindly, and even with a great sense of humor. Being able to reach out for help and get such great customer service puts this software at another level. Cons For us, the biggest con is that our company has one account for many sites and we feel that having so many plants on one account makes it a bit convoluted and a bit messy (it was our companies choice though, so maybe not a software con...). November 20, 2018 5.0 Forms and Documents have been fully integrated into all aspects of Innovative and this has been game-changing for us. The processes we've integrated with SafetyAmp are now fully audit-able, allowing us to consistently review and improve how we are meeting our own customer's requirements and how we are using the SafetyAmp software. Communication throughout our company has improved thanks to the software's notification and automation systems. SafetyAmp has also been extremely accommodating with any of our requests or concerns. All SafetyAmp staff that I have dealt with have impressed me with their timely responses and dedication to getting any questions or issues I have resolved. Pros The ability to create unique, custom forms has greatly improved our processes. We've been able to apply the Form software to nearly every department at Innovative, improving the communication, accountability, and overall quality of the products released from each department. We use it to conduct safety audits on our site. Very easy to add/remove users. Can create custom forms. I like that you can add photos and the system automatically sends emails to owners of audit findings. It has many other functions that we haven't tapped into yet Cons I would like an App as end-users would find it easier to locate and use. May 12, 2021 3.0 The system is very easy to use we just need to do few improvements Pros Easy to create New Templates.it is very easy to log into the system. Cons We can not get a report that includes enrollments missing and expired. A report can not be run under Regional managers. Training dates can not be extended if an employee is out on FMLA. They took our advise on how to improve the overall software and that mean a lot to a company like ours. Most products are to 'canned' and they won't or can't make adjustments to the software. Pros The ability to customize just about anything to match our current paper system. This allowed for better understanding across our company and easier implementation. The ability to use 'can" or to create customization training programs quickly has allowed us to deliver training in a timely manner. For the management to be able to see trends and issues helps to sell what emphasis is needed for safety in what area Pros Excellent for reporting, tracking and trending. I looked at multiple programs that were very good but prohibitively expensive. The subscription and tailored dashboard and ease of reporting for supervisors makes this software a great option. Cons The only con is as a subscription some smaller divisions felt the cost was a little high. Multiple year discounts would be nice. We are also seeing a trend with improved productivity with the availability of the processes with pictures and video type platforms tied into Safety Amp at the teams finger tips. Pros Brings much more to the table than just safety, we fine the followups, training and ISO9000 functions all tie back to safety. This allows management in one platform to set action items, process and procedures into place moving the entire organization forward. Everyone in the company is on the same page with safety, quality and productivity. Cons Everything we have requested to be address has been within weeks.
