All of our communications with the JobBoardFire \[sensitive content hidden\] were through email so everything was recorded. Even with all communications and based on the agreement, we would have had to file a lawsuit in California instead of our home state. After already spending money locally on our legal counsel to review our case and send correspondence, it didn't make financial sense to pursue a case in CA. Pros The interface was fairly simple to use and setup was easy. The sales rep promised a ton of features that they didn't have though. Cons Job Board Fire directly stole from our members and from our organization. Due to their revenue share model and failure to pay the revenue share after multiple contacts, legal counsel reaching out to them, and demand letters. They never paid any revenue share and closed our account. At times the \[sensitive content hidden\] became defensive and argumentative. They didn't seem to care if they kept us as customers or not. They also seemed to have a lack of urgency when it came to solving issues like an XML feed not connecting even though we had a paying customer needing it to be fixed. They put on a good face to get you as a customer but then do the bare minimum so that you can't get a refund from your contract. They charge more than competitors for a lesser product and service. Do your research and go with another job board provider. Pros The site looked clean and overall was pretty easy to use. The option to charge for add-ons was good. Cons The customer service was terrible. I had to put reminders in my calendar each time I emailed to make sure they followed up on items. There were multiple times I booked calls with them in order to get a response and they just wouldn't show up to the call with no warning. There was a time this summer that the geolocation feature stopped working for multiple weeks which was a huge issue. It also took a couple weeks for XML file feeds to get connected. They take all of the headaches out of setting up your own job board, integrating auth and payments, etc. The team at JBF is amazing as well -- going above and beyond with each support ticket. Cons While you can modify the branding to match your website/brand, you won't get a high level of customization that you would as if you were building a website.
