Pros It is a powerful tool for image processing and I like it. I use it for SEM images and it fully satisfies me. Cons It's processed on images as you want and it is overly useful. It allows us to evaluate cell growth and structural changes due to treatment in enormous batches very easily. Pros The ease of use with the ability for a complex backend that allows very complex analysis in the background. That once a recipe is setup any user can use it without having to think twice. Pros Comprehensive, less expensive than previous option, many features for a variety of imaging options. Good for a complex lab with many imaging systems or a single project with a defined need. Cons Unable to work specifically with my system. We used it for many other projects in our lab but I had to stop using it as it did not work to quantify the images I needed. Not only does it allow you to use these amazing algorithms it also does a super job of allowing you "USE" the results in a productions environment Cons Only supports TIFF files for the training data set, also no cloud base API as of yet. I was quite impressed by its easy to use interface and diverse range of features. Besides, the online customer support was simply awesome. However, it would be great if some student packages may be introduced to facilitate students at cheaper rates. Pros I like MIPAR and it's ease to use. I found it quite flexible with diverse range of interesting features. Cons Overall the software is good enough for a beginner. I have recommended the software to companies I have interned for. They seem to have the same problem that the software is too advanced for task they need to accomplish. Pros Very easy to apply recipe to multiple images and saves alot of time. Wide variety of features makes the program very useful in a variety of ways Cons Program is very advanced and requires alot of training to master. I did not hava much time to setup automatic analysis, but I was still able to use it manually. Pros It allowed us to analyze significant number of pictures almost automatically and finish a laborious task in a relatively short amount of time.
