The document control is fantastic and shows subs clearly what they are lacking or you as GC are lacking to process in your control set. Pros Easy to manage SOV against payments inbound from supplier side. Very intuitive design. UI is not flashy or slow - straight to the point. Cons Offline notary management can be confusing to suppliers if turned on. It requires them to sign the documents electronically first and if they don't know to print prior they cannot get a blank copy for a physical notary. I have never had a negative experience, simply the user friendly element it lacks compared to other popular platforms such as GC Pay and Procore. Pros Textura is the most widely used platform for general contractors so I like the familiarity that comes with repeated use. I appreciate the straightforward reminders with links to complete necessary billing, legal docs and compliance uploads. Cons Navigating various compliance sections for my company and all of our subtiers is challenging and not organized in user friendly fashion. It’s the easiest and fastest one for me to submit my billings in. Pros Really easy to navigate as a sub contractor and to enter progress billings. If I could give this a negative rating, I would. As a subcontractor we are occasionally forced by a GC to use this website to submit invoices. I have used several other online platforms to submit payment applications, but this is the most confusing, frustrating, and time wasting one by far. I have wasted hours of my workday trying to submit & resubmit invoices or find whatever document they say is missing and causing a hold on payment. I have tried watching their lengthy training videos just to figure out how to do one thing, only to find that steps were missing, incomplete, or outdated. It seems you would need to attend a week long instructive seminar just to know how to use this darn thing. Who has time for that? Pros Nothing good to say. If I could give a negative rating, I would. This is terrible. A waste of time!! Cons Least user friendly program I have used in a very long time. Difficult to find what you need. Not intuitive. Very confusing. In the future My company will wait the 90 days for a mailed check from the contractor instead of using this company. Everything having to do with this company is a hassle. Between tons and tons of useless, lengthy, and confusing automated emails to completely useless and rude customer service, if you can even get ahold of them of course. It took them three weeks to get my companies account even set up in their system. The reasoning for this went from "it's just stuck in our system" to "there was a holiday in India" to "one of our team members was sick." After all of that it still took a total of two full business days of going back and fourth to get the invoice submitted, which was supposed to be paid in full but somehow got a retainer placed on it. 10/10 DO NOT recommend this company. Pros I liked absolutely nothing about using oracle textura payment management. Cons Everything. There was nothing to like from working with this company.
