We aim them to use SC as an additional resource to be used along during their Museum visit. SC is also used as an educational resource for specific activities run by our educational department. The project was technically easy to implement, the hard work focused on the selection of the artworks and the developing of the contents and histories we wanted to create for the visitors, Pros Second Canvas is a very powerfull tool, with an easy to use by non-technical users cms. Is really amazing how easy is to create a new history focused in the details of an artwork. Although is not a must, Second Canvas is greater if you have high-resolution Gigapixel images. Videos, X-Ray, and infrared images and other related media are also possible to be added to the history. Cons Sincerely, I have been thinking about real cons and I can't give anyone. The compliance of this app with it promised functionalities and other aspects like performance is really high. The CMS interface is intuitive and can be use easily by not digital professional (as guides, volunters or curators). The final interface is also very smooth, users don't need a lot of explainations to understand the concept and how to use it. The content can be update very easily from the CMS!
