Postage Saver is a blessing. Really appreciate the timely updates and how postal changes are kept up to date, and the ease of updating the software.

Pros

When looking for software to work with our non-profit permit, Postage Saver came to the rescue. It provides all the needed features to take advantage of our permit -- particularly the barcoding and sorting functions.

Cons

The initial learning curve was required a bit of additional understanding, but the step by step guide helped. And resources on the Postage Saver website were excellent.

Does not completely place subscribers in the right order. Some are scattered and you have to go through labels in advance and mark them and then remember that. It would be nice if you could created a route number which would be broken up into the separate routes.

Pros

Cost is the biggest benefit. I like the postal report. All I have to put in is percent and weight.

Cons

Have to keep a separate list in Microsoft spreadsheet and do a mail merge every week. You have to mark the labels every week.

Overall, recommended to anyone looking for a comprehensive way to organize and send bulk mail!

Pros

The best part is how easy this is, straightforward, we can get easy reports, its integrated with excel and I do not need it often, but when I do need some help with something, they are beyond fantastic!

Cons

Going back and forth from one format to another is a little time consuming, but this is not something that will prevent us from using Postage $aver, we save so much time and energy in so many other ways we barely even noticed (and it took me forever to even come up with something to put in this section!)

Great experience. The software is very stable and reliable. It includes automatic updates and reminders to update to comply with USPS rates and rules. Very easy to use. A rare occurrence in today's world of unsupported, glitchy software programs and apps. This company doesn't externalize its R&D on the customers. The product works, and when there's something that requires the company's attention, they respond the same day. Cannot ask for more.

Pros

Very reliable, excellent customer support and responsiveness.

Cons

Non cons. It's very good value for money.

We have saved money since day one. Easy to train new users on how to use the software.

Pros

Easy to use and literally saves us postage over other products we have tested for our publication permit mailings. Excellent and timely customer service. Excellent sorting on our Excel files.

Cons

Will not do some discounts allowed under postal regs.

Pros

The software is very easy to use, no special knowledge necessary. It's very straightforward, and makes the instructions on labeling, sorting, very easy to use. The barcode software is excellent too!

Cons

I use the USPS Postal Wizard, as they don't charge for permit renewal if we do everything online with the Postal Wizard. I wish there was some way to link Postage $aver to the USPS Postal Wizard system.

USPS does not provide a direct way to remotely access the Postal Wizard. There is a way to remotely bypass the Wizard and submit information into the postal data system, but it is not designed for simple mailings so it is complicated and in some cases requires a hefty royalty payment. We're considering that as an add on but would have to charge more for it. What do you think you might be willing to pay for that extra convenience? THanks. Scott Postage Saver Software

I mail several times a year postcards with standard mail rates. It does a great job for this purpose.

Pros

It works well with my design software. It is a cost effective solution to providing standard mail services It does not require an expensive subscription It works well for occasional needs which is why I got it.

Cons

It is not an inclusive solution If you mail frequently, it is not likely to be a good solution.

Reason for choosing Postage $aver

I do not mail enough to justify an inclusive solution that provides CASS certification of mail lists. The cost of such a subscription did not justify offering the service. This solution allows me to offer the service and pay for the CASS certification on a per mailing basis, as needed. If a list is reused and the CASS certification is still usable then the customer does not need to pay for it again.

Pros

This product is easy to use for someone who does not have extensive knowledge of postal regulations.

Cons

I am happy with the software. The only draw back would be the need for updates, but that is not the fault of the software.

The newest updates to Postage Saver make it so much easier to take advantage of carrier route discounts. Im very happy with this product.

Pros

Postage forms can be very complicated and this product offers an affordable way to make sure we’re completing these forms correctly and receiving as many discounts as possible.

Cons

The interface isn’t very attractive and can lag a bit. I’d also like to be able to add custom fields to the address labels.

### "I couldn’t get by without it"

Pros

I have used this product for three different nonprofits over 20 years or so and can’t imagine trying to use bulk mail without it. \[sensitive content hidden\] is always on top of everything and in addition, is quite personable. Thanks!

Cons

Don’t have any issues other than I have to use a different label merge because the format doesn’t come out right with Postage Saver.

Pros

STABLE SOFTWARE; EASE OF USAGE; EXCELLENT TECH SUPPORT.

Cons

I WOULD PREFER TO PAY A LIFETIME LICENSE RATHER THAN A SUBSCRIPTION.

Have used Postage Saver for over 10 years, reliable, priced right and makes the Bulk Mail process easy.

Pros

Extremely easy to use, constantly updated to stay ahead of USPS postage rates and increases. Interface has an easy Step by Step walk through that guides the user through each mailing. All forms needed for mailing are conveniently printed out for the mailing.

Cons

No cons on Postage Save at all, Perfect!

No hassel, easy to use....... I appreciate the timely notification of software updates due to USPS guidelines and such - allows me to download at my convenience. AND when the software update had a glitch years ago, I was impressed with Steve's personalism, professionalism and speediness in resolving the issue.

Pros

That we didn't have to seek it or research it to work within our database software, Church Windows, and it fits our needs, no hassel easy to use. Church Windows chose a great software product.

Cons

Least? Hummm. Don't believe there is an answer from us. I could comment negatively on the aestetics of design, the dialog box(es)... the overall professional "look" isn't appealing. However the product and customer service is very professional.... so "looks" do not matter to me.

### "Great Bulk Mailing Software for a Reasonable Price"

I have been in the bulk mailing business for 35+ years, used several different software packages when I was working for a larger company, but never found one as easy to use with easy integration into an address database. I am now retired and working for my high school alumni association, a non-profit that awards 8-12 $1,000 scholarships annually. I needed to find a reasonably priced CASS Certified program for handling their mailings (2,000-2,500 pieces at a time) for this small budget group, and your software was perfect for us. Easy to use, integrates easily with our database and reasonably priced for a small organization...

Pros

Ease of use, CASS Certification, works for non profit standard mail.

Cons

Nothing really, never had a problem in the years using it.

I think that the design could use a refresh. looks like it was make by an engineer in the 2000's. needs some TLC from a graphic designer.

Overall, I really like the product. We were trying to determine all the data entry points for the post office forms manually before, and it was a herculean task. Postage $aver made it feasible to continue to use bulk mail.

Pros

This software makes the arcane process of submitting periodicals mail to the post office easy. It's a life saver!

Cons

I think the first data entry screen could be simplified. It would also be helpful if there were a bit more explanatory text on some data entry screens.

Postage $aver was highly rated by the post office and was at an excellent price point.

Performing this task manually would be nearly impossible, and Postage Saver makes it quick and simple, and at a reasonable price. Pros

This program is so easy to use, I can not imagine anything better. I tried using the USPS site and it is so confusing and no one to help or answer your question.

We have been using Postage saver for years. During that time we have used several different CASS software packages. Some have also offered software to sort and bar code trays. Postage saver has remained our favorite.

Pros

Easy to use, Forms are the same as the current USPS forms in appearance. It checks for current updates when it starts.

Cons

We mail several different types of mailings. I would like a easier way to switch between the setup information.

Without Postage Saver to track and implement the postal changes it would be a very miserable task of mailing our monthly news letter. Especially the periodical requirements. I as an individual used the application in larger scale Coast Guard Auxiliary mailings until it was discontinued. That was standard (bulk) mail. Great product.

Pros

It is very easy to use. Set up is straight forward, just follow the steps. Of course like any situtition you must pay attention to details. Learn your territory and it's requirements. We use it for Periodical mailing of our member newsletter. With our current demographics we have 23 bundles that are distributed into 7 sacks. Postage Saver tracks the many postal changes and give us "heads up" almost immediately.

Cons

Failure to put a blank line after each bundle for ease of labeling. We do that with Excel subtotal routine prior to creating the actual labels. No other complaints.
