The integration with the GRC module, makes it a more rounder. A solid 90% of user satisfaction, as there is always some room for improvement. The training sessions were also a major advantage, helping to accelerate the learning process significantly. Cons The E-Learning videos are disorganized and rely on BIC-specific terminology, making them hard for beginners to use. They need clearer categorization and modernization. Despite company access, the platform did not provide sufficient value for the cost. The AI Modeller solution needs more features to improve its functionality and currently does not offer good value for money. Pros Beck is very easy to use, and particularly if you have a process centric view of the world. It allows you to develop and describe your business processes across the enterprise and simplify what can sometimes be very complex, and I like the ability for being able to do impact analysis on other aspects of the business.It does not have all the bells and whistles and functionality of other tools in the same class, but what it does very well it's process management and execution for lightweight solutions. It's intuitive and simple to use and links very well to the enterprise architecture components of the business. Cons For my use case in supporting the management of processes for our clients there is very little I don't like, but obviously there are some areas of functionality that could be presented in dashboards for ease of management. Eine guten Prozessstrukturierung, sowie eine gute Navigation zu den Prozessen. Eine sehr gute Modellierungsunterstützung mit vielen Funktionalitäten erleichtert dem Prozessmodellierer das dokumentieren der Prozesse. Im Laufe der Implementierungs- und Nutzungsphase ergaben sich mehrere Berührungspunkte mit unterschiedlichen Funktionalitäten und Supportstrukturen. Die Software bietet eine Vielzahl an Möglichkeiten zur Modellierung von Prozessen und zur Darstellung von Informationen. Die Benutzeroberfläche erfordert in Teilen eine gewisse Einarbeitung, insbesondere bei komplexeren Funktionen. Im Austausch mit dem Anbieter ergaben sich unterschiedliche Ansätze zur Lösungsfindung, die teilweise weiterführende Abstimmungen notwendig machten. Insgesamt war der Umgang mit der Plattform geprägt von einer dynamischen Lernkurve. Pros die Prozesslandkarte ist interaktiv und übersichtlich, die Verlinkung vereinfacht das Navigieren im Modell. Cons Leider müssen wir unsere tiefe Unzufriedenheit mit dem SaaS-Angebot von GBTEC zum Ausdruck bringen. Ein technischer Fehler in der Software führte bei uns zu schwerwiegenden Dateninkonsistenzen, die unsere bestehenden Modelle unbrauchbar machten. Auch nach der offiziellen Fehlerbehebung durch GBTEC blieb der Schaden bestehen – unsere Modelle ließen sich nicht wiederherstellen. Der Support war weder in der Lage noch willens, uns bei der Wiederherstellung zu helfen. Besonders enttäuschend war der Umgang nach unserer Eskalation: Statt einer echten Lösung wurde uns lediglich angeboten, auf eigene Kosten einen Consultant hinzuzuziehen – ohne Garantie auf Erfolg. Dieses Vorgehen empfinden wir als unangemessen und kundenfern. Sie erfüllt die Anforderungen für spezialisierte Teams und bietet eine solide Grundlage für professionelles Prozessdesign. Gleichzeitig wird sie von vielen Mitarbeitenden noch selten oder gar nicht genutzt. Die Hauptgründe dafür sind die eingeschränkte Nutzerfreundlichkeit, die unklare Prozessdokumentation (aktueller NPS -33) und die restriktive Lizenzstruktur. Für eine breite Nutzung innerhalb der Organisation fehlt es derzeit an Niedrigschwelligkeit und Kostenflexibilität. Pros Aus meiner Sicht als Tool Owner bietet BIC Platform eine sehr gute visuelle Darstellung von Prozessen, die komplexe Abläufe nachvollziehbar macht. Positiv hervorzuheben ist außerdem, dass das Tool kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt wird und der Kundenservice wie auch der Vertrieb stets freundlich, individuell und lösungsorientiert auftritt. Cons Die Endnutzerfreundlichkeit ist aktuell noch unzureichend. Das Tool wirkt insgesamt wie ein Experten-Tool, das in seiner Handhabung hohe Vorkenntnisse voraussetzt. Durch die im Verhältnis hohen Lizenzkosten können wir zudem nicht alle potenziellen Beteiligten einbeziehen, was die kollaborative Nutzung einschränkt. Doppelarbeiten, z. Wir nutzen BIC Process Design sowie BIC Process Execution und konnten bereits einige KollegInnen durch die Integration ihrer Prozesse in BIC dazu befähigen, ihre Arbeitsabläufe transparenter und strukturierter zu gestalten. Die Möglichkeit, Prozesse nicht nur zu modellieren, sondern auch direkt auszuführen und zu überwachen, hat die Zusammenarbeit innerhalb der Teams deutlich verbessert und trägt dazu bei, Fehlerquellen schneller zu identifizieren und zu beheben.
