Overall, we love the Tapgoods team and software for our business. I would recommend it to anyone with a large inventory who wants to better keep track of all the ins and outs.

Pros

Customer support is always very responsive. Super easy to use to send out quotes for our clients.

Cons

Nothing to note, but they are always open to new features, so if something is missing always the possibility to add it down the road.

### "TapGoods makes Rental Business Easy"

Customer service response time is very good. Even if the issue isn't fixed, they are in communication

Pros

I like that we can attach documents. We can make notes on items. We can link items. Keeping track of inventory is easy.

Cons

What I don't like is when we duplicate orders, there is no option is update with current pricing. I also don't like that we can't make notes for customers on items "for their eyes only". Customer notes also show on the operations pick list and sometimes there are notes that you don't want the crew to see as they were only meant for the customer.

When the routing was working it was good however after 3+ years of dedication to this product I am at my wits end with all the bugs and issues.

That we havent gone with it sooner ! Mobile experience could improve – Works on mobile, but not as smoothly as desktop for daily operations.

I've seen our company move from paper and clipboards to TapGoods. It's been awesome to see both companies grow and work together to make a platform for the niche rental industry. Again, I just love working with the people at TapGoods. They are always friendly, knowledgeable, and I can tell they really care about their product, and helping it work as best as it can for us as a company.

Pros

Easy to use. Very helpful and quick support. Working with our TapGoods rep (shout out \[sensitive content hidden\]) has been especially awesome. Love working with real people in a highly technical field.

Cons

The UX/UI could use some improvements. For example - Our customer's are often confused by how to confirm their orders. When they are sent a quote I describe exactly this: "click the long red rectangle that says sign agreement and pay online." Instead of click the button. Giving us the ability to customize some things would be super helpful as well. For example if we could customize where our delivery/pickup or customer-pick-up/returns windows go on new quote/order summaries etc. emails, so that it's very prevalent on the page, that would be extremely helpful. Some UX tools to make the flow and function a little more user friendly from both the business and customer side would be very appreciated.

### "Worth it!!"

The customer support has been great for us, they're very communicative and quick in trying to close help tickets. The features throughout cover about everything you'd need for a rental software. Overall it's a solid platform to manage our inventory and rental orders.

Pros

I like the routing feature and love the profitability report feature. Customer support is fantastic if you use it! Sending in help tickets gets a pretty quick response time.

Cons

Purchase inventory cannot track. It will be 8 years this year of our staff having to get an updated count on our purchase inventory, at least once per week, sometimes multiple times a week. Big waste of time and money for us.

### "First year user"

At the time of writing, I was introduced to TapGoods \*exactly\* 1 year ago today, and in that time I've seen it grow and evolve and I'm very glad to have it in my repertoire of toolkits. From usage in the field with managing inventory, to organizing rentals with clients in the office.

Pros

The very first thing that comes to mind is the incredible flexibility and transparency from the development team. We are able to suggest changes, feature requests, and report bugs super easily and know that we'll see implementation of those features ASAP.

Cons

Unfortunately, it's currently not very mobile friendly, and requires the use of a web browser instead of a dedicated application. This also means that being signed in on multiple devices is impossible. e.g. Being logged into an order on desktop PC, then walking away and checking on an order in the warehouse on mobile, only to lose all the progress you were working on at the desktop.

I love the customization and customer support of TapGoods! They continuously have released updated features that our very thoughtful for the industry. They are so easy to work with!

I would say that it can be frustrating that purchases are hard to track. We are a rental company that has merch to sell, but we cannot track it in TG.

### "Nothing else like it in the rental business software market"

Pros

There's not another platform you can't do what TapGoods offers in excel or just creating you know template invoices and trying to keep track of inventory as it's coming in and you're trying to build your inventory and build you know the business, there wasn't really anything that provided what I needed and so that's why I looked to TapGoods.

Cons

The onboarding process can be quite detailed but it's understandable given all of the elements that TapGoods is able to assist on. It's not as much of a burden if the implementation is spread out over a few months.

Since we are an alcoholic beverage company, we have some very specific needs from our inventory management software. We hold the license for many locations at once and need to be able to keep each inventory separate while being able to transfer between each location. TapGoods has been great at working with us to find the best way to do this, and help build new features for our needs.

Pros

I like how user friendly it is. The overall layout and features are easy to navigate. The customer service has been great and they have really worked with us to optimize our use of TapGoods.

Cons

Since we have a lot of locations, some of the load times were slow in the beginning. We also had some troubles with sub rentals between locations. After working with our sales rep, we have fixed some of the load times and came up with a new system for sub rentals.

Overall a very positive experience and one that has helped streamline our business.

Pros

TapGoods Pro has been a great tool for us and a definite upgrade from our previous software. The ease of use, the email template options and the ability to send our clients a link to sign and pay their order has limited the amount of time we spend going back and forth with clients and has automated and streamlined our process. The support team has been great and answering our questions and they continue to push new features and upgrades to the software. While we aren't currently using it we are excited about the possibility of upgrading to the TapGoods Storefront in the future to connect our website and our software - fully integrating everything.

Cons

There are a few features we'd love to see added to the software but have already told the support team about it and we are confident they are items that will make it into the development schedule as they have been very good to address any requests we have had.

Pros

The order processing and payment / signature receipt process is very streamlined. Also the scheduling and dashboards are very informative and easy to use. It works great on any desktop or mobile device as well. It also has good flexibility for making up orders. The company is great to work with - their support is excellent and they listen well to improvement requests.

Cons

The only downside is the reporting is a bit limited. I use Quickbooks desktop and I need to pull a lot of info manually to enter into quickbooks, because the reports can't export it all. However, I know they are working at this and I think it will come with time. They are constantly improving it and have made it feature rich.

Extremely user friendly and their support staff goes above and beyond! This system is very easy to navigate and will make training new team members much easier in the future. I love that we are able to track our inventory with ease, report damages, and keep our team in the know about the status of each piece of equipment we have. Their customer service team is first class and has been phenomenal to work with through out this process!

So far we have thoroughly enjoyed our new software!

From the beginning, our experience has been very positive and rewarding. Our clients are very pleased with the system which provides a positive image to our company as well.

Pros

We love how easy it is to use and how thoughtful it is as well. From the beginning to the end of each rental, it works with us and the client as an assistant adding information about each customer and their needs while making it easy for the customer and the company through the whole process. The automatic emails are fantastic! When needed, the support team is very responsive as well.

Cons

The fact that it cannot be accessed without internet access is the only drawback.

Amazing! So grateful for this software and how it has assisted our business. Online orders are fast and easy to approve. Online payment system is so smooth. Automated emails allow for ease of communication for order status with clients.

Pros

The support team is absolutely amazing. Questions or concerns and you have access to the support team that gets back to you quickly while reviewing the direct order you are on. The dedicated client success manager is fantastic checking in and ensuring needs are being met while introducing new and upcoming exciting changes for the software and overall ease of use. The online cart is the best, putting the ownness on clients to pick their own items - and the contract signing and deposit paying through the system constantly has rave reviews from clients on ease and usability.

Cons

That I didn't start with it sooner. Our online sales were non existent prior to having this system and now they are a large part of our business.

Very good overall experience, \[sensitive content hidden\] and his team want to make sure they are doing everything they can to assure we have everything we need to do our jobs efficiently.

Pros

Customer support has been excellent. They are adding new features all the time which is helping us. They make changes and add additions when we request them if they are feasible. We have not experienced any down time and everything is relatively fast loading.

Cons

no direct support line, they are however very fast to respond to emails. I do not have any other complaints
