### "Great value"

August 20, 2025

5.0

Kandji is an excellent MDM solution that has greatly improved our organization's efficiency and security. Its ease of use, powerful automation, and outstanding support make it an indispensable tool for managing a fleet of Apple devices. It’s a "set-it-and-forget-it" platform that delivers reliability and peace of mind.

Pros

The seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem and its user-friendly interface are top-notch. The automation features, especially for patching and security, are huge time-savers. Excellent customer support is a major plus.

Cons

The custom scripting could be more user-friendly, and the reporting dashboard could offer more advanced customization. The lack of support for non-Apple operating systems is a limitation for mixed-device environments.

### "Great product, no real downsides"

June 16, 2025

5.0

Very good. Sales were fairly low-key, and their new licensing now allows for a lower minimum license count, which made it cost-effective for us (for laptops).

Pros

Excellent technical support for configuration and troubleshooting. The product works exactly as it should, managing these laptops for inventory, patching, and potential locking and erasing.

Cons

The "blueprint" concept for applying settings to machines is somewhat complicated and can be hard to understand where to configure certain settings. One other point: licensing for mobile devices (iPads and iPhones) was not cost-effective for us to consider it.

### "Great Platform, hopefully gets better soon."

August 28, 2025

5.0

So far, it's good. We don't have much, issues other than the passport and the sync issues, where the pop up interferes with the keychain. But that's just security issues with IDP. Great Value.

Pros

Kandji is a simple interface that offers a lot of functionality. I like that it is not convoluted. It works. We tried a few others, and not as simple as Kandji. It goes with how MacOS is, it's pretty seamless.

Cons

There isn't much of not liking it. However some more options would be nice, I'm sure it's in the pipeline. Soon, I hope it'll be better.

### "Probably my favorite part of the stack."

July 9, 2025

5.0

It was super easy to set up, and I was really worried when they switched from classic Blueprints that I was going to have to go in and recreate all the different setups I had created manually. But then I got an email that said they are all going to be auto-converted at the end of the year and they all still work, so I am thrilled. Overall, of the entire tech stack I manage, Kandji gives me the least headache. It is very much a set it and forget it type of thing.

Pros

It's super easy to create different setups for different departments or teams. I love being able to create a main policy set and then clone it to other groups of people. That, and their IMMEDIATE customer service. Log in as an admin and you have access to their support staff via chat and there is zero wait. I am not sure how sustainable that is, but I surely hope they keep that standard.

Cons

When I set filters or columns on the main device page, they are not saved. I want to be able to see default filters/columns that I choose.

### "Kandji: Best UI/UX and Great Support."

July 15, 2025

5.0

Pros

Fantastic UI/UX, better than it's competitors. I've used Addigy, JAMF, Mosyle, Intune and Kandji has the best experience by far. Easy for both MDM veterans and newbies alike. New features are being delivered with regular consistency. Day one support of new OSes. Support has been great.

Cons

Not many cons, but some features I miss. I used Extension Attributes in JAMF quite often and miss the feature. There are some limitations on the iOS side but suspect this is more on the Apple side than Kandji. Mosyle had the option to run shell scripts on a single endpoint which was a great option rather than deploying a whole policy to work on one machine.

### "Simple and reliable Apple device management"

March 16, 2026

5.0

IRU helps us centralize the management of our Apple devices and automate many tasks that would otherwise require manual configuration. This reduces the time spent on device setup, software deployment, and policy enforcement. As a result, our IT team can manage devices more efficiently and ensure that all machines stay compliant with our security and configuration standards.

Pros

IRU has been a solid solution for managing Apple devices in our organization. The platform is intuitive, easy to deploy, and the automation features make device configuration and maintenance much more efficient. The interface is clear and policies can be applied quickly, which saves a lot of time for IT teams. Documentation and resources are also helpful when setting up new configurations.

Cons

That said, some advanced customization options could be a bit more flexible. Overall, it’s been a very positive experience and a good choice for organizations looking to simplify Apple device management.

### "Kandji, The MDM for Everyone!"

June 17, 2025

5.0

Kandji has come into our organization and has transformed the way we manage all Apple devices. With Kandji's flexibility and customizations, we are able to tailor each departments experience to their preferences! We have very opinionated end users and they have loved Kandji! Their support is second to none! I would recommend Kandji to anyone who is looking for a robust MDM that has every feature and more!

Pros

Kandji is a robust MDM platform with very granular customizations! They have a wonderful support team with a chat feature that connects you to real time agents! My support team has collaborated with Kandji support multiple times, and they always walk away impressed by the level of service!

Cons

Kandji has had some issues in the past with deploying updates and set times for different users in our environment. They have since taken steps on their side to make updating end user devices more flexible and granular!

### "Kandji is Great"

August 6, 2025

5.0

The Kandji support team are amazing, any questions or integration issues they are on hand and provide really detailed responses with helpful guides. The device management has allowed our organisation to effectively manage our fleet of Macs

Pros

The constant releases of new features make Kandji one of the best on the market. After trying multiple different software to manage our Macs Kandji ticked all the boxes, ensuring our patch management was fully compliant, detailed reports and custom view creation make this amazing. There honestly isn't any learning curve its really user friendly.

Cons

### "Kandji Review"

June 3, 2025

5.0

Kandji is helping secure our Endpoint Security Infrastructure to be the best it possibly can be. Onboarding is a great experience for new hires since we leverage zero touch deployment and Kandji Passport.

Pros

Kandji is an all in one solution for our macOS fleet. It handles app deployments, enhanced endpoint security management and all around functionality. Last but not least, the customer support is top tier and also has a chat functionality built within the UI.

Cons

We been with Kandji for about 5 years now and we have seen the growth since the beginning. Reporting has been improved with the new release of Prism. The one thing I will say for improvement is when you back out of a library item or device view, it refereshes the page and doesn't leave where you left off.

### "Excellent Product"

July 16, 2025

5.0

Excellent! The team is super supportive and helpful, I only have positive things to say. This has been the way from initial contact, to implementation to ongoing support.

Pros

It is so easy to setup. The learning curve is not huge and I like that it is really visual. Having help onboarding and an account manager really helped with the questions I had. The Support Team is really responsive and helpful.

Cons

The only real thing I don't like (but can deal with it) as having software deployed via Blueprints (which are essentially device templates). I would like the ability to tailor software installs for different users. The way to get around it is by having the app available in Self Service.

### "Modern Boutique Apple MDM"

June 4, 2025

4.0

Kandji is great, especially for our distributed workers. We can drop-ship them devices that enroll instantly and we have configured Kandji to do much of the initial setup automatically. Kandji keeps our devices current and secure, with an impressive catalog of supported 3rd-party apps, and does a reasonable job handling software patches. They work hand-in-hand with Apple's newest supported features, and streamline privacy settings for users. Overall it's truly excellent, it's just at a price point that becomes hard to justify when budgeting time comes. A huge benefit on this front would be to provide on-demand pricing at a per-device price, rather than rigid pricing tiers. As a school, we could save 25% or more of our annual spend if we could stop paying to "manage" staff devices for users that put them in a drawer all summer!

Pros

Kandji stands out for its swift adoption of Apple’s latest OS features—its roster of ‘auto apps’ has grown impressively comprehensive. The platform consistently rolls out timely support for new Apple releases, and is now weaving AI into its core. This smart move promises to unlock deeper insights and streamline device management, all while saving users valuable time. If Kandji keeps up this pace, it’s poised to become an even stronger contender in the Apple device management space.

Cons

One thing I’d really like is a comprehensive summary of what’s new in MDM with each fresh roster of Apple OS releases—something that clearly highlights the latest features and best practices. Kandji always rolls out a bunch of new tools to complement these updates, which is great, but it would be better still to see a single, easy-to-digest resource that ties it all together for admins. That kind of clarity would make it even easier to take full advantage of what Kandji has to offer. Also, I’d love to see live support included at this price level. Speaking frankly, Kandji remains a boutique solution with a premium price tag; while its features are top-notch, there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of value for the investment.

### "Kandji, the most Apple-like MDM there is."

August 6, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Kandji has been very positive. Customer support has been good, and generally fast. Device management has generally been faultless, and configuration, and update management has been good too.

Pros

As an Apple only MDM I appreciated that the UI is very Apple-like and professional. It's easy to use and understand, and is good value for money.

Cons

Kandji is a great product and I do consider it value for money, however it was a little expensive for our small company. That's not really a con if your company has the funds to afford it.

### "Kandji Makes Things Quick and Easy"

June 3, 2025

5.0

Kandji has been wonderful as an MDM. It has made our life so much easier since we can manage everything easily from our portal. While I haven't had to use it much, the support has been very quick in providing answers and/or resolving issues. I highly recommend Kandji for any team looking to get a quick grasp on managing their Apple devices.

Pros

My favorite thing about Kandji is it's ease of use. As someone who does not have the time to learn the ins and outs of something like JAMF, Kandji checked all the boxes. There is a decent library of auto-apps that helped us with quick deployment of popular products and even found some that I thought wouldn't be easily deployed.

Cons

There are times where the Kandji deployment of apps took a few minutes longer than a manual deployment would have taken. For example, a custom app was created for printer driver installation and it would take a few minutes for it to go through. While the manual install would have easily been done, Kandji still saved time by being able to push this through. The time is not a huge con for me, but a minor nitpick.

### "Comprehensive and intuitive device management"

January 12, 2026

5.0

Initially we purchased the solution to manage and patch MacOS devices, but after the great experience and support, we expanded this to IOS devices too. We are excited to see how the Windows / Android side of Iru develops over the coming months. We managed to fully configure the system for MacOS management with EntraID authentication in under an hour.

Pros

Iru allows us to manage our MacOS and IOS devices with ease, it has all the features we need offers great value compared to its competitors. The support team is extremely effective and quick to respond via live chat.

Cons

Support is now behind a AI chat bot, which generally is good - but it does delay contacting a real person for more advanced support questions. Managing certain aspects on Iru from a mobile device is difficult at times due to web page formatting - but it is usable for the key device management features.

### "Reliable Device Management with Kandji"

August 21, 2025

5.0

Overall, our experience with Kandji has been positive. It provides a reliable and efficient solution for managing Apple devices at scale. The platform has made device management more seamless, and their support team is generally responsive and helpful.

Pros

We appreciate Kandji’s user-friendly interface and how intuitive it is to navigate. The automation features, particularly around device provisioning and compliance, helped streamline our IT workflows and saved a lot of time. The overall design and integration with Apple devices are also standout features.

Cons

### "Time saver for our IT team"

June 20, 2025

5.0

Fantastic experience so far. We have been using the platform for several years now and it only continues to improve. The innovation that they continue to utilize in their platform has been a huge time saver for our team.

Pros

The best thing is that they are always adding new features to ensure our ability to monitor and act on issues within our fleet of machines is always a top concern for the company. I also love how prompt they are when we have concerns with our fleet. Our IT has saved so much time on new deployments with their integrated launcher. We get so much positive feedback about this new process that we know we made the right choice with using Kandji.

Cons

### "My Overall Kandji Experience"

October 20, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Kandji has been a relatively smooth one. It was easy to get Kandji set up with my ABM and managing the devices has become easier I learn more about it.

Pros

I am very impressed with the customer support. Having good customer support is very important to me. If I'm working and can not figure out something it is nice to have a engineer just a few clicks away. I also believe the device management is very useful and easy to understand.

Cons

The feature I like the least about Kandji is the assignment map feature. I believe the feature could be a little more easy to understand. I would like to be able to group my devices by organizational unit using the assignment maps but so far the integration with Google does not seem to allow that.

### "Solid Apple MDM Provider"

July 14, 2025

4.0

Overall working with the team at Kandji has been great and the platform itself is solid with very little I can ask more from.

Pros

You can tell the platform is built and supported by Mac admins for Mac admins. Coming from administering Jamf Pro at my previous organizations, Kandji feels much more intuitive and less daunting while providing a robust platform for an organization of our size. The biggest pro to Kandji is their Assignment Maps functionality released earlier this year, it's taken what has traditionally been a fragmented experience of scoping the various profiles, applications and other items to our endpoints to a much simpler, visual experience with simple if/then/or style statements. There is still work to be done here in terms of making it as simple as a single blueprint for all devices regardless of what team your on but they're getting pretty close.

Cons

There are still some features I was very accustomed to with Jamf Pro that Kandji has been playing catchup on, specifically the flexibility Jamf Pro offers with very few limitations, even when that can make Jamf Pro very burdensome to onboard someone onto. Apart from that, having some level of management of non-Apple devices would be great for simplifying management purposes of our devices at our orginazation.

Pros

Our ability to manage and monitor our Apple devices is smooth and the the SSO process is so much better.

### "Kandji is fast, convenient and easy to learn"

July 15, 2025

5.0

Kandji has been amazing so far! Resetting and re-enrolling the macs are easier now too as we have automated enrollment in some of our devices. Manual enrollment is also a breeze.

Pros

The smoothness of the transition between another MDM to Kandji. It is easy and quick, deploys fast and you can manage Macs easily with it.

Cons

I guess the rotating passwords for admin accounts, but it is fixable. There are also times when we have to remove kandji and it gets stuck in the middle of the process.

### "The Best Decision!"

September 4, 2025

5.0

Overall, I’m really happy with Kandji. It makes device management way smoother and helps keep everything secure and up to date. Just like the title says, it was the best decision to move from our old MDM.

Pros

What I really like about Kandji is how much easier it makes managing all our Apple devices. The interface is super clean and easy to use, so you don’t need to be super technical to get things done. Features like Auto Apps and Blueprints save a lot of time and cut down on manual work. The support team is great and always quick and clear whenever I have questions.

Cons

It’s really Apple focused, so if you also have Windows or other devices, you’ll need another tool for that. But thats not even a Con for us. I wish Microsoft would have this kind of software!

### "Kandji Revieq"

September 25, 2025

5.0

Kandji makes Apple device management simple and efficient. I love how easy it is to set up new devices with zero-touch deployment, and the automation features save me tons of time on updates and compliance. The platform keeps everything secure without extra effort, and their support team is always responsive and helpful. Overall, Kandji is powerful, user-friendly, and makes my job much easier.

Pros

The automation and zero-touch deployment. Kandji saves a huge amount of time by handling updates, compliance, and onboarding automatically. It makes device management smooth, secure, and effortless, which is a big win for productivity.

Cons

The only drawback with Kandji is that some advanced features can feel a little rigid compared to fully custom solutions. While the automation is great, there are times I wish I had more flexibility to fine-tune certain settings or workflows. Also, because it’s such a polished platform, updates sometimes take time to roll out if you’re looking for a very niche feature.

### "The Collecting Group - Kandji review "

October 24, 2025

5.0

its a great MDM - no issues day to day, barring an occasional small hiccup - loving it. We've got a very good account manager also. Shout out to Camille.

Pros

It's easy to learn, use, and customise and so easy to enforce software updates and patch management.

Cons

Not as many granular options - but a small issue. Also would be better if Threat and Vulnerability were all part of the same initial package instead of add-ons.

This was managed by a 3rd party on our behalf. We wanted something in house to manage ourselves.
