### "Postive experience with IRU"

July 9, 2026

5.0

Mostly positive. Product very much OK and UX is very well suited to non-technical adminstrators. The odd thing is that the helpdesk are clearly very technical profiles, which makes communication sometimes a bit of a plan. But no showstoppers.

Pros

The ease of use and experience that comes mostly out of the box. Having migrated from a competitor who was quite the opposite, was a relief and took strain off our internal support.

Cons

Purchasing in buckets of 25 licenses rather than something that fits current needs. Sales is willing to think along though.

### "Effortlesss AIO MDM package"

June 11, 2026

5.0

Easy setup, very straightforward migration from our old platform. Very receptive and helpful support/customer service users. Never spoken to anyone who was anything other than a delight to engage with.

Pros

Extremely easy to use MDM for device management. Autoapps are a godsend that make managing software version control as frictionless as possible. Expensive but well worth the money in my eyes!

Cons

Control over unwanted apps is something I feel Iru could do better. Considering it does a full scan of softwares on devices, it would be really nice if we could view a centralised form of all softwares across the estate to understand what is being used outside of our preferred scope.

Switched from

Hexnode is very obtuse and difficult to manage. It was costly with barely any features we found useful. New engineers found it very frustrating and confusing.

### "Mandatory Review"

January 9, 2026

3.0

Contract management continues to be messy, often incorrect, late renewal notices, incorrect quotes, etc.

Pros

Iru provides comprehensive endpoint protection with broad coverage across devices, helping reduce risk and centralize security management.

Cons

Contract management is consistently problematic, with frequent inaccuracies, delayed renewal notices, and incorrect quotes that require follow-up.

### "Amazing Device Management with Strong Automation"

June 11, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Iru has been amazing! It’s a reliable and efficient platform that simplifies device management and reduces the day-to-day workload for IT teams. The ease of use and automation features make it particularly well-suited for small to mid-sized environments or organisations looking to streamline their tooling. That said, for more complex environments requiring deep integrations or highly customised reporting, there are still some limitations. Despite that, it delivers strong value and covers the core requirements perfectly.

Pros

The standout feature is how easy Iru is to deploy and manage. Onboarding devices is very straightforward, and the automation (particularly blueprints and zero-touch deployment) saves a significant amount of manual effort. The interface is clean and intuitive, making day-to-day management efficient without needing deep training. Another big plus is how updates and ongoing management are handled. Much of the patching, policy enforcement, and configuration happens automatically in the background, which reduces the need for manual intervention and helps keep devices compliant without constant oversight. Device management is strong and it gives good visibility across the estate. Customer support has also been responsive when needed, which makes a big difference for operational confidence.

Cons

While the core functionality is solid, some areas feel less mature than more established platforms. Reporting and filtering could be more flexible, and there are limitations when it comes to integrations, particularly in more complex or Microsoft-heavy environments. Naturally, it also feels slightly more tailored towards Apple-first setups, so mixed-device environments may not get the same level of depth or control compared to other enterprise tools. But I know they are workign hard to bring other device platforms into line with their Apple management offering.

Whilst Intune does a basic job, it was too clunky and very unreliable. I was spending more time trying to figure out why updates weren't being completed and eventually lost faith in its ability to manage the assets properly.

### "Powerful simplicity"

April 23, 2026

5.0

Overall it's a great product suite, and now really the only option I would consider for Apple device management.

Pros

The product is simple to use but very powerful for device management, vulnerability scanning and EDR. Automatic patching of both operating systems and applications make security compliance easy. When needed, the support team are very responsive and helpful.

Cons

Occasionally we have issues with vulnerability alerts not clearing correctly after patches have been applied. The support team can usually help to resolve these issues, but hopefully over time we'll see fewer occurrences in the first place.

### "Reliable, Intuitive, and Powerful Endpoint Management"

July 8, 2026

5.0

My overall experience has been highly positive. Iru significantly reduced our manual IT workload, value for money in my opinion, its given us a much better visibility into our security posture. It is a robust, AI-powered platform that saves our team hours of administrative work each week.

Pros

The ease of deployment, setting up and "Auto Apps" features are fantastic. It makes onboarding new employees incredibly fast, and the visual Assignment Maps are very intuitive. It takes a lot of the heavy lifting out of compliance and patching, especially for our Apple fleet. Providing top tier customer support where and when needed.

Cons

While it's great that they recently expanded to a cross-platform model, their Windows and Android management features are still maturing compared to their deep, historical Apple-native roots. Always a learning curve through this. Additionally the remediation on vulnerabilities aren't as easy to action where you would require to manually remediate through the user and not through the platform.

### "Very easy to use"

May 21, 2026

5.0

Overall it has been a very positive experience and help us integrate newdevices with ease and manage all the ones we have without taking up any time.

Pros

Ease of use after the initial setup and changes happen almost just a few seconds after pushing them to the devices.

Cons

There could be some more automation for maintenance task, but that limitation might be on the Apple side.

### "Rock solid MDM and fleet management"

June 23, 2026

5.0

I think Iru is a very polished, very approachable solution for MDM, and it allows us to worry more about some important things, rather than jumping into calls to help people update their apps.

Pros

The polish, the feature-packed product, and my favorite is passport. The customer support is very active and reliable. I love that we can push updates to users whenever we want. I love that they also have some AI features that we don't need to use and the are not shoved down our throat.

Cons

The only minus is pricing, but compared to other MDMs you're getting a lot. We have had some issues with certain onboardings not completing fully, but its hard to say if Iru is an fault, and its definitely partly an Apple problem.

### "Iru Review"

July 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, we've had a positive experience with Iru for our device management and would recommend them.

Pros

Iru Support has been great. They are able to assist on Live chat, giving step-by-step instructions and even provide documentation from their library. Iru is really helpful for understanding the ins and outs of computer specs: uptime, apps running, errors and vulnerabilities. Iru's templates/blueprints are so helpful for making computer buildouts easier and creating groups.

Cons

When older equipment are removed from Iru, computers are locked down and can't be unlocked using the MDM platform, which can be inconvenient.

### "Great hands off MDM."

December 31, 2025

5.0

The new workflows are a great improvement over the old blueprints. The prism gives us all the answers we are looking for, be it to hunt down some shadow IT tooling or be it for compliance reasons during an audit.

Pros

The support team and success managers are really great to work with. The product makes device management straightforward, it's feature-rich without being overwhelming, and it handles updates and patch management effortlessly. They are constantly adding new features, also from feature requests, which demonstrates great value for money.

Cons

It is not the cheapest product on the market, but it certainly managed to reduce the amount of time spent on device management to a minimum.

### "Easy deployment at scale, best MDM experience out there"

July 17, 2025

5.0

Kadji has been amazing and the support and Customer Success management teams are second to none. I have never had a random issue that I wasn't able to resolve over chat with an engineer. I have even had custom scripts created for us and video calls with support engineers in the States to resolve complicated issues.

Pros

The ease of deployment and migration to Kandji from other MDMs or no MDM at all was the winner for us. The support team created a migration PKG for us that enrolled the user in the proper blueprint as well as walked the end user through the mobileconfig profile installation and prompts. Easiest tool onboarding I have ever gone through.

Cons

I would love more granularity in the device filtering and search. The do update the device page pretty regularly though, so its possible the limitations I previously had are no longer an issue.

### "The Kandji effect!"

August 19, 2025

The migration from JAMF to Kandji was a seamless transition for our team. The new platform's intuitive and user-friendly interface made it easy for everyone to adapt, leading to a very positive experience and a great value for the price! Overall, Kandji has provided a truly positive and efficient experience for our entire team.

Pros

Since we've adopted Kandji, it's become a favorite tool across our team, mainly due to its versatility and ease of use. Key Features We Appreciate: Streamlined Device Management: Actions like managing, resetting, locking, or deleting a device are straightforward and save us a significant amount of time. Powerful Integrations: The built-in API connections allow us to expand our automation capabilities, making our workflows more efficient. Excellent Customer Support: The support team is consistently responsive and helpful, which has made a huge difference for us. Efficient Blueprint System: The ability to use multiple blueprints is a game-changer. It makes updating and triggering patch management easy, and allows us to deploy specific configurations to different departments or user groups seamlessly.

Cons

### "Do not look further for your Apple MDM"

November 10, 2025

5.0

I am rarely as excited to talk about a product as I do with Kandji, but there are very few products and solutions on the market that completely overshadow their second best.

Pros

I started with Kandji a few years back, when they were still at the seeding stage. At the time I had tested Intune, Jamff and Hexnode but I was immediately struck by the ease of use and the lightning fast communication between Kandji and my devices. Besides the extensive knowledge base, I found that customer support was knowledgeable and helpful, they helped me to go through some scripts that allowed me to fully customise my profiles. I can now update and patch my iOS and MacOS devices with complete effortlessness. I am Kandji's first fan and from what I can see, Iru thought the same as I did and are starting to build on this fantastic product.

Cons

Kandji was more expensive than other solutions when I picked it, especially when compared to Jamff that has offers for the education and government sector. This is however largely offset by the performance of the product, and justified by the fact that every penny put into kandji goes into the development of this first-in-class state of the art platform.

Its been incredible. The entire project to migrate off of Jamf and onto Kandji/Iru took us one week from start to finish. We started late because our Jamf contract was up for renewal and we had just discovered Kandji/Iru. The project went off without a hitch and we have never looked back.

Pros

It is extremely powerful and flexible while still being incredibly easy to use. Things that used to be difficult in Jamf are a breeze with Kandji / Iru.

Cons

### "Fantastic Apple Device management and Patching"

January 23, 2026

5.0

Iru has saved us a ton of time maintaining our fleet while ensuring we are secure in today's world. Support is always quick to respond and very helpful. Our end users were really happy with how easy it was to migrate over, and they love the Kandji self support portal.

Pros

Patch management. Saves tons of time both on the application and the OS side. Device management. Easily ensure secure deployments and the ability to meet compliance requirements while being a very small internal team.

Cons

Some edge cases with custom app creation can be annoying. I'd like to be able to upload a folder with a pkg file and run it, as they need the context of additional files. However, this is something that can be worked around, and is more of an edge case.

Overall, our experience with Iru has been positive. It’s a solid solution for managing and securing macOS devices, and it’s been reliable for our day-to-day needs. Support has also been responsive when we’ve needed help.

Pros

### "Very Happy With Kandji. Excellent MDM"

September 10, 2025

5.0

Our experience with Kandji has been excellent. Everything works as expected without hassle! When I push commands or scripts through Kandji, it has the expected logs too. Support is an absolute bright part of the Kandji offering, with chat and knowledgeable reps who are happy to help and give a hand. Definitely a much better option than email based support, which can be common in MDM.

Pros

Kandji is quick to learn, great at managing Apple devices and doesn't take a lot of time. I've played with quite a few MDMs and most require a significant learning curve, with hidden surprises that impact users, and the admin is just supposed to somehow learn it.

Cons

I don't really have anything negative to say about the Kandji product. There is definitely room for new features or integrations, but the current setup is very solid.

Switched from

[Addigy](https://www.capterra.com/p/154787/Addigy/)

Our previous vendor was pretty good, but was more complicated to manage than Kandji, especially the app library. We couldn't just set it up and basically forget it, we had to regularly apply new versions of apps as they appeared in the library, instead of just automatically updating within a set schedule. Addigy isn't a bad MDM, it just wasn't the best fit for a lean team.

### "Our Kandji Experience "

August 15, 2025

5.0

The overall experience with Kandji has been great from start to finish - the onboarding process was smooth, daily use is straightforward, and their support team is consistently helpful. By reducing the complexity of our MDM, Kandji has freed up significant time for our techs to focus on other critical issues rather than with device management.

Pros

I like Kandji for its clean interface that avoids the complexity of many MDM solutions. The platform is intuitive enough that IT teams can start managing devices within hours without extensive training. Features like Blueprints and pre-built automation templates make it easy to get started, while advanced options remain accessible when needed, making it practical for both new and experienced administrators. Their support team is also very responsive and great to work with, which adds to the overall positive experience.

Cons

What I like least about Kandji is the lack of an agent that can pull real-time data or provide direct access to the system console. This limitation means you can't get immediate visibility into device status or troubleshoot issues in real-time, which can be frustrating when dealing with urgent problems.

Ease of use, managed deployment, ease of device management, compatibility with a wide range of applications, the support.

Cons

The only think I'm thinking about (and it's not what I like or not) it's the agent. Maybe it could be practical to have some more options on the device side. Sometimes when we download an app on the self service, it takes a very long time before we have it install... and it the same when we want to re-install.

### "Great, Not Easily Found, Documentation "

October 27, 2025

4.0

I haven't had to worry about anything regarding our data safety. Whenever was see Iru being used, it's a no brainer to move along with this software. We know our security provider is doing its job when you don't hear a lot - Iru does a perfect job at that.

Pros

Working with many applications like PLAID, Notion and Lovable. Having reliable security on the platforms we use gives me confidence knowing my data remains protected. The documentation on how the application protects are data is essential. Having this clearly defined makes it easy to communicate when using new software in our orgaization. Kandji has been essential in managing our fleet.

Cons

I wasn't sure how my data was being used in relation to Iru. With that being said, it's nice that it is being used seamlessly. It took time and research to be able to advocate for the applications we use - this means that having proper documentation is essential. Iru had this provided, although not easily found, was very well documented and helped us feel secure.

### "MDM with less M"

October 17, 2025

5.0

The tool does what I need it to do and there are additional tools to add-on if I need them. It allows us to do more with less resources and that provides value.

Pros

I love the simplicity yet, the robust features it provides. It really does a great job and it's much easier to get up and running than other systems in the space.

Cons

al-a-carte/ feature based pricing model for other tools that could be bundled tool sets which can be problem for smaller budgets.
