### "Excellent Product for MacOS Device Management \*\*\*\*\*"

February 12, 2026

5.0

I would recommend this product to any company using MacOS. We moved from using Intune from MacOS devices to Kandji with a focus on security and have not looked back. The Onboarding was exceptional with knowledgeable staff able to assist us with our initial blueprints and configurations. When things have not worked or we have required support the support team and really responsive and resolve issues fast. Overall this is a product i would not be without.

Pros

Simplified the Process of Management of MacOS devices for a team that was more windows based. Onboarding was really quick and easily with excellent hands on support. Support response and resolution times are really good too. The whole product is intuitive and easy to use.

Cons

Alerts and clearing alerts is a pain. We see some alerting for some devices where through for example apps are already deployed before onboarding and the software can not be installed. It would be really nice if these could be cleared easily or "ignored" in the UI.

### "all in all, it´s very good"

March 16, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Iru has been very positive. I use it frequently and enjoy working with it. The interface is clear and easy to understand, which keeps the learning curve low. Value for money is solid given the quality of the product and the responsive customer support. The ease of use is one of its strongest points, and device and client management features work reliably. The main area for improvement remains the activity/audit log and its filtering capabilities.

Pros

What I like most about Iru is the intuitive user interface, which makes daily work straightforward and efficient. On top of that, the support team is impressively responsive and knowledgeable — issues get resolved quickly, which is a huge plus.

Cons

The activity log remains a significant weak point. It is very difficult to search through — there is no simple way to filter by keyword or by user. For example, if an admin performs an action in the console, you often cannot find any trace of it in the activity view. This makes auditing and troubleshooting unnecessarily cumbersome.

Reason for choosing Iru

UsabiltyWe chose Iru primarily because of its clean and intuitive interface, which made onboarding straightforward for our team. Compared to alternatives, Iru struck the right balance between functionality and ease of use — it didn't feel bloated or overly complex. The quality of customer support was also a deciding factor; knowing that a competent team responds quickly gave us confidence in the product long-term.

Contract management continues to be messy, often incorrect, late renewal notices, incorrect quotes, etc.

Pros

Cons

Contract management is consistently problematic, with frequent inaccuracies, delayed renewal notices, and incorrect quotes that require follow-up.

### "Simple to use, deeply capable, and the best value for dollar I get period as an IT Manager"

January 31, 2026

Exceptionally positive. From first onboarding, their support and engineering team have been reachable, knowledgeable, and so so kind and helpful. Their product team is innovative, and are adding the features that I as am administrator want to see. And when they do roll out totally new functionality like they have done somewhat recently with EDR, with vulnerability management, and with cross-platform device management - it is EASY to show my executive team why moving to Iru for those needs is the right choice.

They are committed to growth, not just into new sectors or categories - but to growing the product to make my job as an administrator using their tools easier and more effective.

Cons

give me D A R K M O D E please. I love your platform and the only thing that would make me love it more would be avoiding the flash bang of loading into my Iru dash from other white-on-black interfaces

### "the value lies in its ease of use. "

iru is a fantastic product. its simple and quick. user friendly to users and admins alike, Iru combines great UI with a high technical ceiling to get companies enabled, deployed, and engaged.

Pros

I love how easy it is to use and how quick the tool is to deploy. the self service options are fantastic for our employees as well.

Cons

i really wish it had a remote manager/ remote access feature. this is something that can really push a lot of admins to buy the software. additionally, i wish there were more intermediate app deployment options for users and an ability to notify a user when they have a new blueprint or app. finally, i wish they had better custom PPPC configuration options on mac.

### "One of the Most Intuitive MDM Solutions—Up and Running in Days"

March 10, 2026

5.0

We recently rolled out IRU, as our Mobile Device Management solution for Apple devices. During our evaluation process, we reviewed several platforms including Microsoft Intune, IRU, and Jamf. After careful consideration, IRU stood out as the solution that delivered the full range of functionality we required, while remaining within an affordable price range. From both a senior and junior engineer perspective, the platform is intuitive and straightforward to configure and manage. The setup experience was smooth, and the interface makes day to day administration simple without sacrificing depth or control. One of the key strengths for us was the ability to assign permissions based on our RBAC roles, allowing appropriate access across the team while maintaining governance and security. From an administrator standpoint, the visibility and control are excellent. From an end user perspective, the experience is seamless and minimally disruptive. We were able to complete the full onboarding process for all devices and users within a month, covering configuration, testing, and full rollout. Overall, IRU has proven to be a reliable, scalable, and cost effective MDM solution. I would highly recommend this platform to any company looking to manage their Apple device fleet efficiently and confidently.

Pros

This is one of the most intuitive MDM solutions I’ve ever used. Unlike other MDM solutions, it required very little training, and we were up and running in a matter of days.

Cons

It would be much better if the Threats and Vulnerability modules were included in the main package, rather than offered only as additional add-on modules.

### "User-friendly MDM with an exciting cross-platform future"

February 11, 2026

4.0

Our overall experience has been very positive. Iru has simplified our device management significantly. The combination of ease of use, responsive support, and the move toward a truly cross-platform solution makes it a reliable choice for our team. We are very satisfied with this solution.

Pros

The platform is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. What I value most is their expansion into Windows management, allowing us to bring all our devices under one "roof." Additionally, the admin support is top-notch—having a direct chat right inside the application makes getting help extremely fast and efficient.

Cons

Currently, the Windows management side doesn't offer all the features we need just yet compared to the macOS side. However, seeing their development pace, I am confident that these missing features will be implemented in the near future.

Reason for choosing Iru

We chose Iru primarily because of its competitive pricing and exceptional admin support. Unlike other complex solutions, their direct in-app chat support is a huge advantage—it's incredibly easy to get immediate help with any configuration. This combination of affordability and having an expert available at your fingertips made it a much better fit for us than more expensive and over-complicated alternatives.

### "A Clean and Easy-to-Use Platform for Everyday Management"

February 10, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Iru has been positive. Its ease of use makes handling daily tasks straightforward and efficient, allowing me to focus more on the work itself rather than managing the tool.

Pros

I particularly liked how easy Iru was to use. The interface is clean and intuitive, which made day-to-day tasks straightforward and efficient. In addition, the customer service was responsive and helpful, making it easy to get support when needed.

Cons

The built-in AI features were the least useful aspect for me. While the idea is promising, in practice they didn’t add as much value as expected and felt limited compared to how I would ideally like to use AI within my workflows. I also found the lack of built-in remote support to be a drawback, as this is something other platforms offer and can be very useful for day-to-day support.

### "Great macOS MDM solution for businesses. "

March 26, 2026

5.0

I was looking for a good MDM solution to manage all my macOS devices and Iru does a fantastic job. It allows me to manage the devices, deploy and enforce applications, apply group policies, wipe, DEP, and bypass any personal end user activation locks. Setup and deployment is very easy and pretty easy to learn to administor. UI is clean, modern, and easy to navigate.

Pros

The overall UI interface is simple and modern. Enrolling macOS devices either manually or through ABM/ADE/DEP is very straightforward and works as expected. Device management when enrolled is great. You get device details, ability to send MDM actions, and deploy apps automatically or through its self service app is very useful.

Cons

You can't manually clear/mute device alerts. You have to somehow physically remediate or resolve the issue before the alert is cleared. They also charge you in batches of 25 devices/licenses only.

### "Great MDM for Apple products"

March 3, 2026

4.0

I've been working for about four years, and honestly, I don't have much to complain about, but some changes, sometimes, are not so welcoming.

Pros

It is a very easy tool to use; I've never had a bad experience or downtime from the platform itself. The support team is also great.

Cons

The auto app library is still not big enough. Also, some features are just unlocked if you hire the endpoint detection services. The change from blueprint to assignment map is also not great, since there are some small things you can do with blueprints that are not available on maps.

### "Excellent MDM for Mac-heavy organizations"

July 23, 2025

5.0

When I look back at my overall experience with Kandji, what stands out is how dependable it’s been for managing our Apple devices. From onboarding and offboarding to the day-to-day maintenance, the platform gets the fundamentals right—it saves time, doesn’t add unnecessary friction, and just lets IT do what it needs to do. That sense of reliability is something you don’t always get with MDMs, especially at scale. I also appreciate how focused their team is on constantly improving, keeping up with macOS updates, and even hinting at bigger things like Windows support. You definitely notice their bias toward the Apple ecosystem—the product feels like it’s built for Mac-heavy shops, and that’s why it fits so well for us. The platform does what’s advertised, keeps getting better, and takes a lot of stress out of device management. For anyone prioritizing a solid Apple-first MDM, Kandji’s been the right call.

Pros

What I liked most about Kandji was how reliable it’s been for managing our macOS fleet. In comparison to other MDMs we’ve tried, Kandji just works—especially when it comes to the essentials: onboarding, offboarding, device lifecycle, and day-to-day operations. The experience has been smooth for both IT and end users, and it’s saved us a ton of time. I also appreciate that Kandji is always iterating (like with plans for Windows), which makes it feel like an investment that keeps paying off. Overall, its steady performance and focus on the Apple ecosystem made it the right tool for our environment.

Cons

What I liked least about Kandji was that, for all its strengths with macOS, there are still areas where it falls short—mainly with flexibility and breadth. Some of the policy customization feels a bit rigid, especially if you want to go beyond what’s offered out of the box. Integrations with certain security tools aren’t as plug-and-play as you’d hope, which sometimes means more manual work or creative problem-solving to get everything working together the way we need. While Kandji definitely nails the Apple ecosystem, that laser focus can come at the expense of features or integrations that competitors handling multiple operating systems might offer. Basically: it’s great at what it does, but you do feel the limits if your needs start to branch out.

### "Very intuitive device management"

October 14, 2025

5.0

We didn't have to ask for customer support ever, except for expanding the licenses. The truth is that we configured once, and didn't have to configure too much. Also I like the monitoring of Mac versions to keep everything updated

Pros

Self servicing and managing the devices is pretty easy. Also, integrating with third parties and applications. The model of different roles worked very well with our different project setups

Cons

Instructions on Apple enrollment are not exactly clear. But that may be more an Apple problem. Better instructions on how to make the automatice enrollment work may be useful

### "A huge leap forward for our team when managing Apple devices"

September 12, 2025

5.0

Kandji has been revolutionary for our team and we now manage all aspects of Apple devicement Mangement easily. The platform has ended up being great value for money and we are now confident our devices are secure and our users are happy. Features like Passport, Liftoff Blueprints all with clean and modern interface means our etams and users love using Kandji.

Pros

Having managed MDM plaforms for 15 years, we found migrating to Kandji was a huge step forward for us and feels like a highly capable, secure and modern platform that has streamlined our Apple Device Management. Managing devices via blueprint is smart, logical and easy to understand what is going on with a device. Previous platforms have left us totally bewildered at times as to what is triggered and where and can be overly complex for a small IT team. Kandji has revolutionised this process for us and allowed us to confidently configure end to end device mangagment, onboarding flows securely and confidently. Customer support were super helpful in the migration process and was very easy tmove our whole estate in just a few days.

Cons

Coming from other platforms that are very powerful with granular settings, but often difficult to use, we intitially found we had to reframe our thinking using blueprints and a lack of smart groups. However once you overcome this you realise just how powerful yet simple to manage to platform is. Auto app updates can be a bit annopying as the user is nagged frequently and this should be configurable to make the user experience more enjoyable.

### "Living my best IT Admin life managing our fleet with Kandji."

August 4, 2025

5.0

Overall, I cannot out in to words how life changing Kandji has been for our IT team, and for the end-users at our organization. Previously there were so many pain points, disruptions of life, and a continual never ending effort in managing our fleet. Since we migrated, everyone from our new hires, and to our oldest members in the org-- everyone notices how clean, simple, seamless and un-disruptive Kandji has been for them. We save money, get tremendous value our of Kandji, and more --importantly-- as an IT team, we get a tremendous amount of our time back to do / work on other projects without having to worry about how our fleet is doing.

Pros

There are several things that I like the most about Kandji: 1. Migrating from jamf was super easy and seamless with the pkg created for us by the Kandji team. 2. Not having to manage app updates due to Auto Apps is a game changer. I no longer have to set calendar reminders to manually update dmg or pkg files for apps. 3. Their 24/5 customer support is just -insane-. Coming from several MDM platforms, I can tell you that having to scroll through forums, or mac admins for support was a daily occurrence. However, with Kandji-- I can simply hit the chat button and actually chat with a human to explain my issue/needs and they have delivered a solution each and every time. 4. The ease of use, and the ease to teach our team -how- to use Kandji was a complete shock to me. With other MDM's, you have to go through several rounds of trainings, testing & certifications which is just frankly- ridiculous. We are in the modern age, and the tools we use in enterprise need to catch up. It is unacceptable the bar that IT admins have to clear to standup or operate their fleet through other MDM platforms. Kandji just works, and I learned 90% of what I use in the day to day in a 60 minute zoom call. COME ON! That's so sick. And I have the at least the same functionality (and some) than I did before with other platforms + everyone that joins the team acclimates in a matter of hours to the Kandji platform.

Cons

For starters, that it took them so long to come to market hahahahahha! But better late than never. On a serious note, my only gripe is that I wish we could see a list of "feature requests" others have positioned to the Kandji team so that we could "vote" on what features get worked on next from a customer standpoint. There are a few quality of life changes that I'd like to see / have already submitted as feedback/feature requests. I think that level of transparency could help a lot. Other than that, we have not encountered any major issue that has come remotely close to us even thinking about leaving Kandji. So to the Kandji team I say keep up the great work!

### "Great product: Easy to use & well-supported for admins, unobtrusive for our end-users."

July 23, 2025

5.0

Extremely positive both from an admin/architectural standpoint, and from the user perspective. Kandji rarely causes an issue for one of our users and on the odd occasion it's happened, support was immediately available with a resolution.

Pros

That it is continuously improved is a huge bonus. It was also extremely easy to set up a minimally viable implementation and add on to it incrementally.

Cons

In 2022, there were some UI concepts that I didn't love, but the consistent improvement got rid of those.

Reason for choosing Iru

Kandji was priced significantly better than Jamf at the time, and we felt like there was little extra that Jamf offered to account for the delta. Apple told us flatly that ABE was not a good fit for our 150+ macOS endpoints.

### "Kandji is the MDM to use in Apple only Environments"

July 24, 2025

5.0

Kandji is exceptional, from the deployment of their product, the support staff, and the continuous features being released. It has been a positive transition for our school, both from our staff and students. The IT workload from managing devices has greatly decreased, including user tickets, with proper setup, password sync, and update automation. I recommend Kandji to any school/workspace with an Apple only environment.

Pros

Kandji excels in ease of use and seamless integration into the native Apple environment. The features of Auto Apps, Passport logins, and Liftoff create an experience for our users that is seamless and intuitive, especially in a school environment. The Admin UI is clear and well-organized, allowing you to quickly view your fleet of devices and make swift changes to devices, updates, or applications. It is constantly updating its Auto App catalog, which makes tracking updates and handling deployments easy.

Cons

Hoping for robust features from a security standpoint as they develop their EDR and Vulnerability products to compete with other EDRs/MDRs.

### "Good experience !"

January 21, 2026

5.0

I've been using Iru for about three years now. From the first time I used it until today, I've been delighted with the product. It's intuitive to use, the features are relevant, and the support/sales teams are always available and very helpful (even in different time zone).

Pros

Ease of use, managed deployment, ease of device management, compatibility with a wide range of applications, the support.

Cons

The only think I'm thinking about (and it's not what I like or not) it's the agent. Maybe it could be practical to have some more options on the device side. Sometimes when we download an app on the self service, it takes a very long time before we have it install... and it the same when we want to re-install.

### "A Game-Changer for Managing Apple Fleets"

August 6, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Kandji has been very positive. It's a powerful and modern Apple MDM that makes deploying, managing, and securing Apple devices straightforward and efficient. The platform is easy to navigate, even for teams without deep MDM experience, and the automation features save a significant amount of time. Support has also been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve had questions. While it’s best suited for Apple-only environments, for that use case, it’s one of the best solutions on the market.

Pros

Kandji’s biggest strength is its automated device management and compliance enforcement. The Blueprint system makes it incredibly easy to deploy apps, security settings, and restrictions across devices consistently. I also appreciate the clean, modern interface it’s intuitive and saves time when managing a large Apple fleet. Features like Auto Remediation and zero-touch deployment via Apple Business Manager really simplify day-to-day IT tasks.

Cons

While Kandji is very user-friendly, one downside is the limited support for non-Apple devices it's a great solution if you're fully in the Apple ecosystem, but less flexible in mixed environments. Additionally, some advanced configuration options (like granular scripting or custom profiles) can feel a bit restricted compared to more hands-on MDMs. Lastly, the pricing may be a barrier for smaller organizations with tight budgets.

### "Kandji Honest Review"

July 18, 2025

5.0

Kandji’s really good for handling Apple stuff. It’s strong, saves a ton of time with all the auto stuff, and the Okta hookup is super handy. The support team’s awesome, always there when you’re stuck. If your company’s all about Apple, I’d say go for Kandji—it’s solid and does the job better than most, even if it’s got a few quirks.

Pros

Kandji’s setup is honestly so easy to use. Clean look, and you can find everything (your devices, apps, settings—without any hassle). Even if you’re new to this IT stuff, it’s not hard to figure out. The main screen shows you everything you need, no digging around. The Passport thing with Okta is awesome. It makes signing in super simple, no stress. Also, the Okta Device Trust thing is great for us. Setting up apps with Auto Apps is a piece of cake—you just click a few things, and boom, they’re good to go. And the chat support - Always quick to reply, and they actually get what you’re dealing with. It’s like having a super-smart friend who’s got your back.

Cons

The Blueprints thing can be a real pain. Like, if I just wanna try out some new software, I gotta mess with the whole Blueprint, which is such a chore. Also, there’s no easy way to delete apps without doing some fancy script stuff. There’s no TTL (time-to-live) option, so if a device isn’t online when a script’s supposed to run, it just doesn’t happen. For example, I want a script to run every 24 hours, but if the device is offline at that exact moment, there’s no way to trigger it later when it comes back online. That can mess with our reporting and give us false data. There there is no Sync button to make a sync right away. You gotta wait, like, 15 minutes for it to check in, or use the Self Service app. Also, it’d be cool if they had phone support. Chat’s fine, but sometimes you just wanna talk to someone.

### "Well that's easy!"

October 10, 2025

5.0

Kandji makes Apple device management feel effortless. It’s a reliable, well-supported platform that simplifies complex workflows and lets IT teams focus on what matters. With just a few clicks, you’re up and running—exactly what you'd expect from the "easy button."

Pros

Kandji is a seamless, intuitive solution for managing Apple devices, it truly lives up to its reputation as the "easy button" for Mac MDM. From deployment to daily management, the platform is incredibly user-friendly and straightforward to implement—even for teams without deep technical expertise. One of Kandji’s standout features is its exceptional customer support. The live chat team is highly engaged, responsive, and consistently helpful. Issues are resolved quickly, and you never feel like you're talking to a bot or stuck in a queue. It’s clear that Kandji invests in real people who know their product and care about your experience.

Cons

The only notable limitation is the lack of functionality to uninstall existing apps from devices. This can be a challenge when trying to remove unapproved or unwanted software that may have been installed outside of Kandji’s controls. Adding this feature would make an already excellent tool even more robust.

### "Solid MDM with great support!"

October 23, 2025

5.0

I've used Kandji at two different companies now and it's been great at both. The visibility into what's happening across all our devices is excellent. The functionality covers pretty much everything we need for managing our Macs. It's made my job a lot easier and saved us a ton of time on device management tasks

Pros

The support team is honestly amazing. Whenever I've reached out they actually get back to me quickly. The whole platform is super intuitive, which is huge because I don't have to spend forever training people on it. I really appreciate how customizable everything is. We're not stuck with one size fits all settings, we can actually make it work for our specific scenario. Also, the user community in Mac Admins is really active and helpful, which has saved me more than once when I needed to figure something out.

Cons

The pricing structure is a bit confusing and tier based but they work with ya. The vulnerability and threat detection features are pretty cool, but they're still fairly new so they're not quite as robust as I'd like them to be yet. I'm sure they'll get there though. One small thing that has bugged me for years haha, is that Xcode isn't in the auto apps list, which would make life easier for our devs since we have to manually handle that deployment.

### "Powerful and Easy to Use MDM tool!"

July 14, 2025

5.0

Kandji helps us manage our devices to ensure our compliance and contractual obligations by providing us with easy to use controls and meaningful support. It has helped us streamline the processes around our requirements given us time back to work on other projects.

Pros

In a word...simplicity. Kandji has streamlined our enrollment, usability, and ongoing administration of our devices. Support is quick to respond and very helpful. Prebuilt blueprints, like those for CIS controls, make quickly achieving a minimum level of security easy.

Cons

It would be nice to be able to organize devices into groups, but I understand that tagging can achieve similar results.

### "MDM with less M"

October 17, 2025

5.0

The tool does what I need it to do and there are additional tools to add-on if I need them. It allows us to do more with less resources and that provides value.

Pros

I love the simplicity yet, the robust features it provides. It really does a great job and it's much easier to get up and running than other systems in the space.

Cons

al-a-carte/ feature based pricing model for other tools that could be bundled tool sets which can be problem for smaller budgets.
