### "The best I tried"

Pros

Whistle is the fourth customer communications software I've tried. This is by far the best for a reasonable price. What a time saver to have one place to communicate with all available channels!

Cons

I'd like more integration with Booking.com messaging service.

Pros

Whistle gives us many features to communicate with out guests. It's great to send a welcome note, in-house information such as they received a package or fax, sending thank you texts once the guest has left the property.

Cons

I wish that it was integrated with out system so that it could auto send out welcome messages without us needed to upload the arrivals daily.

It is such a great tool to stay in contact with our guests. Easy to use.

Cons

Wish it would be easier to create new templates. I have had a few issues, and was not able to be helped or follow up. For some reason I can not even find out how to create or change the templates we use.

Every business should use Whistle!

Pros

I really enjoy being able to contact our guests via text, without having to use a cellphone.

Cons

I don't like that the guests do not receive the messages that we sent to them after they say yes. For example I ask them if they would like to make a dinner reservation. First they have to say yes to get the texts but I think that the message that was sent does not go thru after they say yes. I am not sure if that is true or not.

So far, we all love it, and I know the few "cons" we have encountered will only improve with time

Pros

I love that it implemented with Cloudbeds (our PMS) seamlessly. Our guests and employees love that there is an easy and contactless way of communicating, especially for the small things that make a big difference.

Cons

There are some things that don't line up perfectly, I tried to make an automatic reply in the parking section, but the subgroup wasn't lined up properly, so it didn't work. I then just put it under the main "parking" section and it worked fine. I'm also a little nervous implementing the survey feature for our guests. Getting that set-up isn't the most user-friendly section, but I just need to reach out to customer service (which has been awesome so far) and have someone walk me through it.

### "The platform has improved guest communication 10-fold! "

We got Whistle at EXACTLY the right time because our entire phone system got knocked out by a power surge and we didn't have an in-room phone system. I love this platform!!

Pros

Guests love this feature! It is so easy for them to communicate with the Front Desk. We even had someone book another stay through Whistle after the checked out. I like that we can customize a pre-arrival, room quality check, and departure text.

Cons

One downside is that you have to press 'shift + enter' if you want a new line in the message. Hitting enter automatically sends the message, which caused a lot of guests to get "Good evening - Guest Services" texts when we first started using the platform. I have also noticed that sometimes a message gets sent to multiple guests, when it is intended for only 1 person, which can be inconvenient.

Pros

When guests opt-in after being told about the system is works very well.

Cons

Not all messages require a response and the 5-minute alert that a message hasn't been responded to is annoying. This has been mentioned to the company on more than one occasion.

Pros

Information on reservations is automatically integrated into Whistle which makes it easy to communicate with our guests.

We do wish it was a little more cost effective for our small business.

We, especially i are working on being very guest-centric. The results of the first few days had me sold. I would say it has helped "save" several guest experiences.

Pros

Give guests an easier, less intrusive way to provide feedback, request services or information. Find out right away if they have a complaint and resolve it. I have loved Whistle from the very start. Some people seem to have a fear of dialing '0', but few have fear of texting. Plus you can sometimes answer Whistles, while on busy phones. I would encourage everyone to try Whistle!

Cons

Doesn't work as well for team communications in our slightly remote resort. We have poor data/cell and WiFi only when in buildings :) Some staff do have issues getting messages. We of course assume it is the software :(

So far so good. I've only had to ask for help once, and while it didn't actually get resolved (our fault, not theirs), they gave quite a few solutions to work with.

Pros

Helpful tool to communicate with guests. We send them our virtual phone number in confirmation e-mails, when they check in and on the website, and they can communicate with us before or during their stay. Easy to use for guests and staff. Also helpful for communications at Front Desk - they can text their manager without having their phone out.

Cons

The notifications don't always pop up on your screen, but you can get e-mails sent so you know there is a message waiting.

Pros

It is easy to communicate with the guests and Alerts are clearly displayed on the computer via email.

Cons

The messaging layout is one dimensional. There are no templates for frequently asked questions. Many guests come in as Unknown.

Whistle is phenomenal ! The program is very user friendly and training new people to use it is also easy. The fact that we can communicate with our guests in a way that is the most convenient for them and have an answer in moments makes it worth it every day! Don't know where we would be without it!

Pros

immediate contact between me and guests as some people don't want to be bombarded with e-mails. Guests can ask questions about their stay and update me as needed. They can request services or ask questions and get a response without having to call me.

Cons

Some of the features are not available or easily maneuverable via mobile phones or tablets.

When I have questions the Whistle team are extremely responsive, which is a huge plus!

Pros

I really enjoy the mobility of the software. We can use it on our Front Desk computers and also on our cellphones while we are mobile.

Cons

The only feature I would like to see added is to have the auto signature in the mobile app.
