VidIQ is worth a base level subscription for anyone looking to fine tune and grow their Youtube content creation experience. Beyond that, the Ai becomes a money drain and I would suggest getting a Pro level subscription to Chat or Claude, use it for long queries, story board creations etc. Save you Ai credits in Vid IQ for very short and specific tasks.

Pros

Analysis thru visibility access to my YT channel. VidIQ can access KPI data for each video and make recommendations for future strategies, title descriptions etc.

Cons

limited AI credits per month - Ai usage requires far more use than the monthly credits allowance. Once depleted, you will have to pay more for additional credits. We all know Ai isnt full proof and takes several query angles to have a robust experience.

As a youtube video creator, I've used VidIQ to optimize the title, description, and tags for my videos. It offers a range of SEO optimized titles and tags that could make your video show up on the Youtube search results. Overall, a great experience using it.

Pros

What I like about VidIQ is their SEO optimized suggestions and recommendations for Youtube video titles, and tags. Also, once your publish your videos, it will show the rankings of the tags used. So interesting!

Cons

Nothing much in the part, I just wish the product was offered for FREE. Although it offers a freemium plan, but there's many limitations with the free version of the product.

I’ve had a positive experience with vidIQ overall. It’s a helpful tool for growing a YouTube channel because it gives you keyword research, competitor analysis, title ideas, and SEO suggestions all in one place. I especially like the browser extension because it shows useful data directly inside YouTube while I’m planning or uploading videos. Overall, I would recommend vidIQ, especially for newer YouTubers or creators who want more guidance and structure. It is not a magic solution, but it can save a lot of time and make it easier to improve your videos and grow your channel when used alongside a strong content strategy.

VERY FRUSTRATING! It seems like there's good intel with this but useablility is lacking. My IT folks helped improve performance slightly by disabling some Chrome functions but my PC is still VERY SLOW. I was forced to install & uninstall the Chrome extension repeatedly. A huge time suck.

Pros

It offers solid suggestions for improving videos. It shows highly searched keywords and offers improved title suggestions.

Cons

Wonky. Slowed my PC to a crawl. Waited 40 minutes for a 16:00 to upload and just got spinning circle. The Remix feature forced me to use their recommended thumbnail, you can't pick and choose what recommendations to adopt.

Our team has been using Vid IQ for about a year now and has definitely noticed a difference in how we are analyzing data based on the new information regularly available to us.

Pros

Vid IQ has been an extremely useful tool for our digital marketing team. It's very easy to use, and the seamless integration with platforms has been very helpful in making real-time changes based on title scoring. The analytics also closely tracking YouTube subscribers is nice because we get constant milestone updates sent right to our inbox.

Cons

I think vid IQ gives really great alternate title options for YouTube videos, and including a score system is great, but sometimes what they recommend is too long, so it does not always work.

Customer experience was nice; both times that I had questions I did receive a response within 24 hours, with follow-up afterwards. It's reasonably quick to learn how to use the platform. It's really nice that it tracks subscribers and views on the homepage, for insights into user engagement.

Pros

I love that it tracks subscribers and views on the homepage. Otherwise, it's nice in theory but it's not super well developed as of yet.

Cons

Not well developed and it's missing a lot of features. For instance, really basic features like caption editing is not available: "At the moment, it doesn’t support editing the auto-generated captions inside the Clipping tool just yet." Additionally, the idea of AI created clips is nice but doesn't quite hit the mark.

I have been very happy with my initial year of the paid VidIQ offering. I can honestly say that I have seen improvements in my video reach since implementing the recommendations that VidIQ has made.

Pros

Integration within the YouTube platform itself is second to none. Being able to apply recommended tags, titles, descriptions as well as AI assistance with thumbnail creation is priceless. The additional features that are in their standalone web app are of equal value.

Cons

The price point can be a deterrent. Depending on your channel's niche, the AI recommendations can also sometimes be a little off the mark.

vidIQ es increíble tiene un conjunto de herramientas con el que puedo llevar la estrategia de contenido de mi canal de YouTube a otro nivel, puedo acceder a informes, datos, palabras clave y mucho más de mi competencia y enfocar mejor el calendario de contenidos de mi canal. Además, es capaz de generar títulos, descripciones y guiones de videos a partir de una palabra clave y utilizando inteligencia artificial, es sorprendente.

Cons

No he tenido inconvenientes con vidIQ, desde su plan gratuito ya es muy beneficioso y usando uno de los planes premium es excelente.

wenn man gar keine Ahnung hat von Youtube, ist das vielleicht hilfreich. die Aussage dass man ohne Vidiq auf Youtube nicht vorwärtskommt ist schlichtweg übertrieben
