### "one so far, more to come"

Very good so far we have one unit live and are thinking about having more at our disposal. I think the more we use the site to create content the better it will become.

Pros

Very easy to set up and start to operate. we have started using it for a small business but can see how this could grow in our company.

Cons

System is a bit harder than others to navigate. Would be good to click through on the media box or site name to be able to set play lists schedules.

### "Good tool to manage screens"

It's positive but could be better considering it's a high rated software for screen management. We also find that the learning curve it's a bit high and the documentation is not very user friendly but we get where it's needed eventually.

Pros

Easy'ish to use compared to other similar ones we tried before. Never has had a down time since we started using it. Fast reply time when support is needed. Good comunication and language skills.

Cons

When a problem was encountered it was really hard to debug and even the support had a difficult time doing it so. We spent many days exchanging emails back and forward to arrive at no conclusion on what was causing the issue.

Using it is a bit frustrating. There are no clear and concise instructions for scheduling campaigns or slides. The platform lacks tutorials, user instructions, and an interface in Spanish

The ability to manage advertising screens remotely. There are no clear and concise instructions for scheduling campaigns or slides.

Cons

What I like the least is the difficulty of use and management. There are no clear and concise instructions for scheduling campaigns or slides. The tutorials are strange and confusing across the board. The management tool is not user-friendly at all, and there are many repeated concepts (such as the term "scheduling") that are not clearly explained. There is no option to allow some slides within the same campaign (for example, a monthly campaign) to expire before others, or to add new slides in the middle of a campaign (such as halfway through the month). It forces you to create an entirely new campaign every time something ends (or at least I can’t find any explanation on how to do otherwise).

Works well, easy to use and provides scalability to a platform that previously has cost a small fortune to setup.

Pros

Good management facility and easy to navigate, uploading content works seamlessly and as you'd expect.

Cons

There's no real obvious complaints for the product, it does what it says it does. Additional features would be nice like seamless wrap around displays.

Pros

XIBO can be updated from any computer/internet source. This is helpful for creating designs and uploading them onto the screen. Good Quality display and good pricing.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve to using XIBO, it can be a bit confusing at first. I do wish slides/videos could be updated quicker through an app. The website is a bit clunky. I often make videos/slides and upload to XIBO. It would be nice if it was all in one and could be quickly updated if we sell out of items etc.

We've been using Xibo for serveral years now. Once set-up it works like a charm and maintaining it is relatively easy. If you're looking for a simple signage solution this might not be suited for you. If you're looking for an advanced signage solution with many possibilities Xibo will suit you.

Pros

A lot of customizations possible. Good support and value for money. Display management and layout planning works like a charm.

Cons

Due to the many options it provides it definitely has a learning curve. The manuals and both Xibo support and community support will help you with that.

It was very easy to implement and offered alot of customization, it was also alot cheaper than the original product we were using. and it allows us to easily push any marketing and manage our screens

Cons

for some users the amount of options it had were daunting, like there is a lot you can change in the system

Limited. We had few screens and did not use very much. We dipped in many times but as it was not intuitive we eneded up building our own to servce three screens.

Pros

Value for money / cross platform and ability to use on windows and android. Did not really fit in with our Mac exosystem

Cons

Not intuitive. Clunky dashboard and complicated after you had not used it for a long time. We had trouble with LED screens

### "Great for non-profits"

Generally positive, the people we've spoke to at Xibo have been fine. It serves the purpose we have (for the people we help) really well.

Pros

That it's mostly Free and open source software. That makes it very accessible to the non-profit and charity sector.

Cons

That it slowly seems to be going open core which is a horrible model, plus Linux support is worse than before.

Very good in general, I have installed Xibo with a few clients for more than 10 years now without problems. It's not my core business.

Pros

Scalability, multi-platform, easy to deploy, easy licensing management, low performance requirement.

Cons

Complexity of the web interface. It is not possible to know the time of the displays to be sure of the synchro. I asked for support to install Xibo on Samsung Tizen, I didn't get an answer. Then I was spammed for weeks by an AI on my emails. Eventually, I got the Samsung model wrong and lost a lot of money.

it\`s excelent to use and easy. We have about 7 monitors and we have one server with 3 diffrent locations

Pros

Its easy to install / setup the server. install the xibo player on hosts and post the posters to the screens.

Cons

the cost for monitor, and the upgrade cost for the monitors. it should also be easier to take reboot on the desktop hosts.

A trusted vendor + great customer and service support. The Pre-Sales team does a brilliant job in responding to RFQs!

Pros

Great features, user-friendly interface and ease of deployment, a good platform for commercial digital signage solutions.

Cons

Aside from the unit costs, which is slightly higher than competing brands. With the given volume purchase we have made, I would expect a better pricing structure moving forward.

### "It Dashboard Display"

I have 10 screens with all differents dashboards to display IT infrastructure. The entire IT team are fully happy to get simple display during the day.

Pros

The simple interface to create display. It's really easy to do specific planification for specific screen.

Cons

The possibility to have idenfication on webpage. It's complicate to use credential to get security dashboard.

Mi experiencia es bastante grata. Este sistema lo conocí en otra gran compañía que lo usa para cientos de dispositivos Android y la verdad que funciona bastante bien. Es una solución bastante económica, con muy buen resultado.

Pros

Facilidad en la puesta en marcha y envío de contenido. El interface fácil e intuitivo y hay guías de apoyo para aprender a manejar el sistema

Cons

Por ahora no puedo opinar nada negativo, quizás a la hora de contratar los servicios, puede que sea algo complicado el tema de las licencias y asignación de los mismos en cada dispositivo, pero revisando la documentación, todo se resuelve, rápidamente.

### "Success story with Xibo"

For a year we used xibo for advertising in many short exhibition with three mobile led wall. We used with satisfaction DSCS9X hardware.

Pros

We choose Xibo for scalability and continuity (open source). To our surprise, we found a simple-to-use solution.

Cons

We don't like the impossibility of short scheduling without continuous communication client server in offgrid.

Consistent, reliable and professional is what I would use to describe this amazing product. It has enabled us to display information across multiple displays on campus allowing us to provide information to a large number of end-users with ease.

Pros

I like how easy the software is to use and the simplicity of deploying the agents on machines. The process makes our day to day operations a breeze.

Cons

I think when we hosted it on-site there were instances where we needed troubleshooting but with the cloud version everything has been smooth sailing

We have been enjoyed using Xibo and did end up extend our subscription for another year. Looking forward to expanding the current set up with more dashboard.

Pros

Very easy to use, especially for HR. Support team is fast and get to the point. Pricing is better than other companies.

Cons

Limited # of widgets Connector such as Power BI needs to be renew every so often Concepts of displays/campaigns/layouts are a bit confusing sometimes

We use it for digital signage at our school and have done for about a decade now. It's being great for all the years we have had it.

Pros

It's affordable because it is open source. I appreciate that I can buy permanent license for a device and not have to pay any subscription fee. It's very reliable and works on lots of different kinds of devices.

Cons

I don't have to much to complain about. Maybe the interface is a little hard to navigate sometimes to get to some settings.

We've been using Xibo in our school for almost 6 years now and this is by far the best software we came across (and we tried a few of them).

Pros

We have been using Xibo in our school to showcase several clubes and projects on a vertical Kiosk. Everyday hundreds of students and teachers read the latest news, watch videos and stay informed of what is going on. Xibo is the platform, never let us down.

Cons

Backoffice should be more intuitive and user friendly. Sometimes it becomes a little confusing doing basic things like scheduling a playlist.

Overall, our experience has been positive. Recommended if you are looking for a solution for multiple screens. The learning curve is too steep for a single screen. Good value for money.

Pros

Xibo is robust digital signage software. You can rely on it. It always work smoothly with the recommend hardware. The great thing about Xibo is that it's open source, so you're not dependent on a single provider.

Cons

The interface looks outdated and isn't very user-friendly. You need a manual to find your way around.
