I also like how they provide webinars/training to help users learn how to use the platform as well as promote new features. Cons Since the product is cloud based it makes it a little harder to use Vyond for all the projects I am working on due to security concerns. Cons I wish there were more variety in backgrounds and in actions. For example, I sometimes have to make multiple slides of a single action by splicing together different actions. Pros Vyond can be fully adapted to our brand: starting from colors, fonts, all the way to creating characters who look similar to our leadership team :) I also love that creating animations is very easy and doesn't require any ID skills. Cons When trying to mix corporate videos with Vyond's animation it becomes a bit tricky and requires more advanced skills to find the workarounds. It has been a great experience and enhances the learning experience even more. I'm really excited about creating videos for learning. Pros I am not very creative at creating beautiful training content, however, Vyond made it so easy for me to create a really awesome video. It has so many options to chose from, it's incredible. The feature I liked the most was the lips movements linked to the recording sound you use. It really makes it tailored to what you need. Cons I didn't like that some basic poses don't exist. Vyond only has human animated characters/ narrators. I reached out to customer service and it was just a "no we don't do that" That's the model, cool... but I think revenue was lost because we are the type of client that would pay for a customization AND the company could use that as revenue generation/product enhancement features for customer retention/upgrades/etc. Pros It is easy and intuitive, drag to drop video software. It combines versatility without adobe complication. Cons We would use this product multiple times a day... but will not because we have a heavy need for character animation, specifically a sloth. Vyond only has human animated characters/ narrators. We would even pay for a customization, but that was not an option. Reason for choosing Vyond They had custom character options as animals. Cons The text to speech voice overs that I have listened to sound robotic. Secondly, the timelines for animations and audio disappear off the bottom on the monitor and are difficult to scroll to see. Pros The best part of Vyond is the templates that let you quickly create content. It allows a complete novice to create high-quality content without a lot of extra training. And when I first got the free trial in this software, I tried to explore and enjoy having the video. I love choosing animated character, customise the background. I am novice in creating videos and always amaze how others created one. I find it cute when I did it by myself when the character can sit, talk and walk. As an elementary teacher, it is useful for us to create stories that our students would love to. Cons Though this is a great app, it’s a bit pricey to avail. The fact you can customize colors to your brand specifications, add music/voiceovers easily, download the file once it's done is very helpful. Cons I would like to see more additions to the "Whiteboard" palate...seems like most of the innovation happens for the Contemporary or Business Friendly palates. My company has adopted the Whiteboard palate as it's brand standard and there doesn't seem to be many improvements/additions made to the palate. The designing of characters, layout, plot is so simplified that even a novice can navigate his or her way around it. And I love that even with slow internet connection I can still use Vyond it shows it was well cached. Vyond is simply amazing. Cons What I like least about Vyond is that uploading your work ot downloading takes time and most times you are not even sure it's working. The templates they've established spark my creativity and give me ideas to implement in my videos. They're always adding new features. Cons My two asks for Vyond would be to continue adding character actions in a wide range of motions (potentially without props to allow for more flexibility). I also think Vyond could incorporate more graphic styles; business friendly and contemporary are great, but there are many other illustrative styles that could help create more tones.
