However once you stop paying extra for them to develop features that they can on-sell they stop all communication. Pros I think that their sales process was very friendly . Cons The software is extremely difficult for both tutors and customers to purchase and undertake lessons. Especially booking times and payment. In addition the software is not complete. It is not possible for a student to buy more than one half hour class at a time. In addition the Pinlearn team charge for integration into Stripe (They charged me $450), even though they write on their website that standard integration is free. Their business model is that customers will pay extra to have features added to the existing software, then your extra features become available for every future customer to buy. So if you use them to develop your site, all your competitors will always have the features you have paid Pinlearn to develop. There were lots of obstacles to overcome, such as payment method, China firewall, teaching platform and all in between, and Pinlearn's developer team made it all possible!! It was like drawing a picture you see in your mind and having this fantastic time to turn it into reality! It has been a wonderful 8-month journey, and I am looking forward to many months and years to come. Pros Pinlearn product is all-in-one, well-rounded product perfect for my business (online education). Once you buy it, you are not even aware of all the possibilities and features it offers to you and your clients. It is universal, unique, reliable, 100% customizable, user-friendly, and worth every penny! Cons There was nothing I did not like about Pinlearn, it really is much more than you would expect! I am looking forward to it becoming a fully developed LMS and to growing with them in the long run. We were looking for a self hosted one time purchase option with full source code as we needed to build on it for more features and this turned out to be a very good buy for us. I talked with many developers, but they would want a time of at least 6 months. It would have cost me a lot to pay them for 6 months. Then I found this script. They said they will build my site in less than a week using this script. They actually did it. My site was ready in 4 days. I had started selling courses very soon. And it did not cost me even a quarter of what other developers were asking. Thank you, guys. Keep the good work up. I wish you also had an LMS for my site. Pros This software is a good package for simply selling the courses and also inviting other skilled teachers to sell their courses in your site. You can set a commission rate to take from other teachers. Cons I find this a useful script. Just if it had an inbuilt authoring tool, I would not have to purchase the Elucidate authoring tool separately. Cannot complain. It’s not costly and does the job well.
