Overall, Opiniion has been a great way for our teams to manage our public reputation all in one place without having to keep track of several different log in credentials and platforms.

Pros

I really like being able to send feedback campaigns to our residents through Opiniion. It's such a great way to take the temperature and gauge where we are at in everyone's minds!

Cons

I wish the review response approval flow was a smoother and more user friendly process.

The sales process was nice and a lot of promises were made and then when the contract was signed and 'setup' was completed, nothing. It doesn't work and is effectively worthless. Like, poke it with a stick and nothing. Zero help. Zero support. This wouldn't be so awful if we could just part ways but you can't. You have to sit with a year contract for nothing. No product. No support. No service. Most people don't care and sign up for this so they can tell their boss they bought a reputation management platform. We care and it doesn't do anything.

Pros

The setup people were very nice and attentive. That's where it all ends.

Cons

It just doesn't work. It's that simple. It was fully down for a couple of months and no one told us and when we asked for help it was crickets. No worries, we try software all the time, we'll just cancel it and move on with the lesson learned. Nope. There's no 30-day out. You're stuck paying for a full YEAR, and in our case that's around $5k. For nothing.

Reasons for choosing Opiniion

The sales people were nice and we were convinced by the pitch that the soft touch of the smiley faces would solicit more feedback. It didn't. We never got a single month's worth of use or value out of it. 8 months later I'm counting the weeks until I can free up the expense to use a different platform that does something. Don't trust Brad or anyone else there.

Overall we have had a good experience. The only issue thus far is that reviews are sent to past residents. That have not been living here more than 2 years.

Pros

Overall the platform is easy to use. You are able to reply directly to resident

Cons

Sends reviews to all past residents. Sending reviews to past residents that were evicted gives a big impact on reviews as they will most likely give a bad on.
