Constant communication with clients at every service call, and detailed.

Pros

Keeps great records of all invoices and history, easy to use, records all client service calls, monthly billing can't be any easier!

Cons

Data entry of clients from old billing program.

### "Killer software for pool pros"

It’s the best thing that happened to the pool industry. I get paid, my clients get reports, I have chemical records, I know where I stand every month in terms of money billed, received and owed.

Pros

It’s super easy to use. I literally walked myself through the set up process.

Cons

There’s a learning curb to everything. That being said...I had to learn the language used in this software vs. my old software.

Reason for choosing Paythepoolman

I pricked PTPM because it does it all. Billing, routing, receive payments, invoices, text reminders, mass emails, digital door hangers with pictures, ect...other softwares were every difficult to navigate and offered limited services.

### "Great Idea.. Poor Execution"

PPTM is marketed to be full service software for a pool service company. This includes invoicing, general accounting, routing, capturing service visit info, repair visits, etc. It does a lot of things but none of them well. I get charged $50/mo for subpar accounting/invoicing capability - my accounting software does a much better software at invoicing, accounting, CRM, and inventory at 60% of the total cost of PPTM. The PLUS features are full of defects and the dev team is focusing on new features (integration with bluetooth measurement devices) that provide no value to me. This statement actually applies to the whole product, not just PLUS. Bottom line is I am paying $70 to $90 a month (depending on how many techs I have on the payroll any given month) for something that provides much less value than my accounting software ($32/mo). I have started developing my own routing/service management software so I can stop using PPTM.

Pros

Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say about this software. I really wish I did.

Cons

This software is full of defects and the user experience is subpar. Here's a few examples: The customer facing communications are poorly written and there is no way to edit/customize them. Specifically the statements and late notices. The PLUS feature (extra $10/mo per user) has these swipe bands to take chemical readings. About 30% of the time, no matter how many times you press a value it is not saved. Error handling is non-existent. If I scroll too fast, it will reload the page and lose everything I have entered. Sometimes it will send the summary to customer when this happens - with a lot of missing data. There is also no final confirmation - "ready to notify customer?" so you have no idea when the service summary is sent.

Pros

I love this software. I've tried and used at least a dozen, and I've beta tested software for other companies. This is hands down the easiest to use. Best thing is the billing. Fastest, easiest, best way to get invoices into customers hands.

Cons

Nothing worth mentioning. All small minor things that are all ready in the works of being updated!

I have had a great experience and I’m very pleased that I decided to purchase it. My guys are loving it and it’s so easy to track daily logs and routes etc. They offer many options some I’m just finding after using it for almost two years now. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] are great and always quick to help out when we need a little help. I would recommend this to anyone that is in the pool service industry. Great product !

Pros

I’m not the best at navigating software , this is super easy. I like how relevant it is to all our needs in pool cleaning and what is offered.

Cons

My guys bugging me about how much they love it and how easy it is to keep track of everything.

### "Amazing Program !"

I am so happy this program is available. I’ve been in the business for over 20 years and finally have an easy way to meet all my billing needs. I went from 6 hours of billing miserableness to completely done in an hour. Thank you so much. I don’t know how I survived without this program.

Pros

This program is easy to use,and most of all the customer service is always there and friendly if you have a question.

Cons

There is Nothing about the program I would change.

Program is very basic and makes invoicing a hassle. There is no calendar schedule to route valets and repairs together.

Pros

The overall program doesnt offer as many features as other pool field service programs.

Cons

Customer support was unprofessional and unresponsive.

Program is buggy. Gets caught in a loop. There is no app for mobile.
