The site is very easy to maneuver through and fix things myself. Pros I enjoy that I paid a yearly amount that is very affordable and never have to worry about any monthly fees or any increases throughout the year. I also love how the site is set up to be very set up friendly. The drag-and-drop tools and built-in templates made the setup process straightforward. Cons The main downside was the limited customization compared to more flexible website platforms. As my needs grew, I found it harder to make advanced design changes or add specialized functionality. Review Source VR Verified Reviewer Manager Online Media Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "AI Support Bots both for Website Creation, and the AI provided for users very limited & unhelpful" March 29, 2026 1.0 GoDaddy's AIRO AI Terms of Service did not list the requirement for their host website users a mandatory submission of their email addresses and names in order to use their respective purchased AIRO AI ChatBot service; despite that requirement not being an industry standard as mandatory across other AI service requirements. They were unable to make the modifications to allow this to be an optional setting. They were unable to refund my purchases through GoDaddy of their DNS Hosting services, the Domain Name Purchases, or the LLC requisition they facilitated. Despite this clearly not being listed out in their terms of service, or as an industry acceptable standard for purchased AI service support as mandatory - their inability to alter backend code for what is a relatively very new product on the market - and then would not refund the misrepresented products I was told I was purchasing. Pros It eliminated many of the granular details and options available on other website building platforms, to be very simple. Cons They did not comply with their AI Bot Terms of Service, and their limited ability to make changes (as referenced above) on a very standard model that is provided across the industry made any website built very difficult to view for users. I have my business website through them and also my POS service through them. They have EXCELLENT customer support. Pros I like Go Daddy Website Builder because it is incredibly user friendly. I was able to get a website up and running fairly quickly to get the basics of my business down. I like how it also tells me how many visitors I have had on the website and how I can add online payments to the website. Cons It was a bit challenging to add all the pictures I wanted. It was almost like I can only swap out pictures. I did not pay extra to have someone help me, but it is an option. I also had a bit of trouble at first deleting their base website helper information and adding sections. However, once I got the hang of it, I would say it is fairly user friendly. I am Canadian, but was residing in Mexico when I was creating my website. This caused my website and emails to all be in Spanish. I reached out to GoDaddy and it was only partially fixed...to this day, I still get GoDaddy emails in Spanish. I found the building the website overall simple and enjoyed the various templates, finding it quite user friendly. However paying for the website to be up was costly for my start-up and there wasn't a way to tranfer my design to a free program elsewhere. Pros The GoDaddy website Builder has many template options that felt both sleek and modern. Cons The cost of GoDaddy Website Builder was not viable for my business as I was just starting out and not receiving payments. I also love their feature that weeds out all the spam and junk from my email but allows me to view it just in case it is something of need. One time, a domain I wanted was shown available but it wasn't available when I tried to purchase which made my experience a bit bitter. But other than that, the builder is amazing and I have used it on a couple of websites. Pros I like how easy it is to make professional websites using the builder. There are a lot of professional templates to choose from and I can edit them easily. The website I created with GoDaddy Website Builder also seemed to load faster when compared to other builders. Cons Once, I checked the domain on GoDaddy and it showed an available domain. I proceeded to create a website thinking I would connect the new domain later. However, after I was finished creating the site, the domain was not available. It was parked by GoDaddy itself. I am not sure if the domain search showing available was error or if their software automatically bought the domain.
