Pros I like that the program is easy to learn. The column on the left makes it easy to sort through data and customize our different locations. This used to take forever and we would miss many listings and functions. Pros Brightlocal saves 100s if not a 1000 hours of getting your business listing established...and you own it. Most other services result in loss of your listings of you quit paying. Cons Requires some knowledge of the internet but I believe even a child could use it. Provides us insight of where to improve and where are competitors stand. I like the new grid ranking feature which shows us how we rank for top 5 terms in our region based on location. Some features were only starting to use such as the review harvesting system look promising. Need to see over time how well this tool can help us on an ongoing basis... maybe a lot of value is in the upfront insights? Pros Broad range of features, but mostly the rank checking and dashboards for how we compare to our competition. Provided insight of where to improve oour local rankings. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate even for someone like me who's main job is not tech oriented. Great support, not just a chat bot that will point you in a direction for you to figure out what to do, but a real live person who will take time and provide some valuable input. I know that I can rely on BrightLocal to handle the creation of new citations and update of existing ones. Cons When you know there is an existing listing that needs to be updated but the tool doesn't find it. Then you have to highlight that in the notes field of the project. Would be nice to have a place to add multiple direct links to existing citations that need to be updated that the scan did not find. Reason for choosing BrightLocal Price and the user interface.
