As a small business owner, it makes my admin life a great deal easier. Pros It's user friendly. The other options that I found online were all clunky and totally confusing to navigate. I love how Notehouse keeps things as simple as possible, while still providing the function that is necessary to get my job done. It's been a lifesaver organizing client information in a way that I can actually find again. I've signed up for so many online software platforms where I just never returned to them because I couldn't figure out how to fully incorporate them into my already established work flow. Notehouse didn't require me to do a complete overhaul of my current processes, it's only streamlined and enhanced them. I love it! August 23, 2024 4.0 We have been happy and the team complains much less about having to do case notes! Pros I really love how simple to use Notehouse is. We had gone through a few other systems for our case notes and this is by far the best one we tried. It is easy to access each others files if needed, sort files in different ways and pull lists for groups. I also like how easy it is to customize based on the work we do. Cons I would like the searches to auto save until reset, but that is just because I keep forgetting to tick the box, not a huge deal. Pros You have a good system and i know starting out with any business first hand the challenges however your customer should be the priority no matter what’s going on. I personally sent a few emails after upgrading to the monthly fee to get support surrounding how to access the free premium upgrade as per your new year marketing. You did respond letting me now when I would be available now its been six week since my last email and no respond. I have add a new users and w stil do not know how to access the premium upgrade to how to make the new users manager of their files. Also when choosing form th enlist of professions you should have social services industry listed as this from what i read of your company was the primary market or one of them. It was bought before the trial ran out!" December 18, 2019 5.0 Pros As a social worker it is hard to find a software to help with client notes. Unlike other social workers, I work at a school that doesn't have a logging software. I hated using a word pad to log things. It's hard to find notes and it's hard to keep track of things as I do them. I opened this program and it was instantly what I needed. After trying many programs it was a relief to finally find something easy to use. I also was happy that I didn't have to custom my experience. I'm a hands on learner and I wanted to see what they had to offer - I don't want to spend hours setting up my own software just to not be able to use it due to complexity or price. Cons There are tiny things I'd like changed, but I consider these upgrades. I also don't want the base program changed - if they do upgrade I'd like to pick and choose what add ons I need. Right now the interface isn't crowded which makes it easy to use. Reason for choosing Notehouse Ease of use, not forced to add information I don't need or want, being to upload documents easily to notes. January 3, 2023 5.0 Pros Notehouse is an easy way for me to track my mentoring clients.It's easier than a CRM (and non-sales focused!). Yet it's more robust than a spreadsheet.I work with a number of different people whom I mentor. I wanted a simple way of noting what was discussed in a meeting, maybe tagging it as needed, and noting important dates. I found other CRM systems too cumbersome for my needs. But I could not accomplish everything I wanted with a spreadsheet (at least not in an easy to use format). Cons Did you know there's a YouTube channel explaining how to use the software? At first I didn't either. They have an entire FAQ section, which includes a link to that channel, but there is no link to the FAQ once you are logged in. (However, they're updating the platform soon, so maybe it'll be there.) I emailed and asked a question, and they were quick to get back, and even inquired later if it had worked out, and if I had any other questions. For what it is advertised for, it works! Pros I love that NoteHouse is exactly what it says it is — a place for client notes. I am a psychotherapist who works with an agency. The agency does all the billing and intake information with booking in their system. The thing that they are missing is a place for notes. Therefore, I’ve been keeping notes in a filing cabinet and at the end of the week and/or month I have to sort through all these notes I’ve typed up — kept secure on my computer, printed off, signed — etc. It was SO overwhelmingly time consuming. Therefore, being able to put my notes into the system, is FABULOUS. Cons I’ve actually only used the APP as I have an iPad as my main source of “computer”. Therefore, I believe there are a few things that are missing from the app version, but if needed I can use a computer for those features. If the app had a few more features like printing, exporting etc. That would be great. The tagging system helps you search and find easily. It’s easy to input and go back and edit. It’s just not complicated. Cons I would like to know how to run reports on it so that I could teach numbers of appointments etc. When it’s loading slowly it’s difficult to tell if anything is happening or not - could do with seeing a bar loading or something. Reason for choosing Notehouse Notehouse was about people and gave a simple method for recording appointments and activities. So easy to use and is adaptable for our specific needs! Such an excellent addition to our program. Cons I wish there were a few more features, specifically the ability to share a caseload and easier client search features. Every time I select all it will allow me to see the entire caseload but once I select a client, it automatically reverts back to my individual caseload. This extra step can add to the work flow. Our trainee interactions are confidential and Notehouse provides us with an opportunity to share notes with only the Support Team. We are better able to conduct meetings and capture important information. While we are still in our exploration stage, I anticipate Notehouse will continue to increase in its benefits to our organization. Pros The ability to capture on the go notes and refer to them with ease.
