As a small business owner, it makes my admin life a great deal easier. Pros It's user friendly. The other options that I found online were all clunky and totally confusing to navigate. I love how Notehouse keeps things as simple as possible, while still providing the function that is necessary to get my job done. It's been a lifesaver organizing client information in a way that I can actually find again. I've signed up for so many online software platforms where I just never returned to them because I couldn't figure out how to fully incorporate them into my already established work flow. Notehouse didn't require me to do a complete overhaul of my current processes, it's only streamlined and enhanced them. I love it! Cons I'm definitely looking forward to HIPAA compliance! Closing cases could be easier to find, but now that I know where to look, it's no problem! Pros You have a good system and i know starting out with any business first hand the challenges however your customer should be the priority no matter what’s going on. I personally sent a few emails after upgrading to the monthly fee to get support surrounding how to access the free premium upgrade as per your new year marketing. You did respond letting me now when I would be available now its been six week since my last email and no respond. I have add a new users and w stil do not know how to access the premium upgrade to how to make the new users manager of their files. Also when choosing form th enlist of professions you should have social services industry listed as this from what i read of your company was the primary market or one of them. August 23, 2024 4.0 We have been happy and the team complains much less about having to do case notes! Pros I really love how simple to use Notehouse is. We had gone through a few other systems for our case notes and this is by far the best one we tried. It is easy to access each others files if needed, sort files in different ways and pull lists for groups. I also like how easy it is to customize based on the work we do. Cons I would like the searches to auto save until reset, but that is just because I keep forgetting to tick the box, not a huge deal. It was bought before the trial ran out!" December 18, 2019 5.0 Pros As a social worker it is hard to find a software to help with client notes. Unlike other social workers, I work at a school that doesn't have a logging software. I hated using a word pad to log things. It's hard to find notes and it's hard to keep track of things as I do them. I opened this program and it was instantly what I needed. After trying many programs it was a relief to finally find something easy to use. I also was happy that I didn't have to custom my experience. I'm a hands on learner and I wanted to see what they had to offer - I don't want to spend hours setting up my own software just to not be able to use it due to complexity or price. Cons There are tiny things I'd like changed, but I consider these upgrades. I also don't want the base program changed - if they do upgrade I'd like to pick and choose what add ons I need. Right now the interface isn't crowded which makes it easy to use. Reason for choosing Notehouse Ease of use, not forced to add information I don't need or want, being to upload documents easily to notes. January 3, 2023 5.0 Pros Notehouse is an easy way for me to track my mentoring clients.It's easier than a CRM (and non-sales focused!). Yet it's more robust than a spreadsheet.I work with a number of different people whom I mentor. I wanted a simple way of noting what was discussed in a meeting, maybe tagging it as needed, and noting important dates. I found other CRM systems too cumbersome for my needs. But I could not accomplish everything I wanted with a spreadsheet (at least not in an easy to use format). Cons Did you know there's a YouTube channel explaining how to use the software? At first I didn't either. They have an entire FAQ section, which includes a link to that channel, but there is no link to the FAQ once you are logged in. (However, they're updating the platform soon, so maybe it'll be there.) Juggling a huge case load as a non-profit lawyer is stressful enough as it is, and having to create my own system of staying organized with so much information added a lawyer of anxiety. Notehouse figured out a way to take that load off my shoulders, and it has been a real joy to use! Pros It's intuitive and super easy to use, even for a technophobe like me! It helps me keep organized by tracking of all the important information I need for a client without having to wade through different documents and databases. The platform is also visually beautifully designed! Cons I'd like a way to display more than the next two upcoming dates on each case. I can enter as many as I like, but only the next two show when I open an individual case file, and it would be helpful to see more at once. It is absolutely worth the money spent. The staff members are wonderful, respond quickly, and are receptive to feedback that will help them improve their product. Pros The thing I like the most about this software it is simple to use and only takes a few minutes to get it up and running. We were using a more complicated software but it was hard to navigate and use. In addition, it took hours of training to get a person up to speed. Cons The thing I like the least is I think it needs a little more features such as a calendar, call log and places to add forms etc. In addition, the ability to change the date on the notes would be amazing. Shared team members don't see my personal notes or progress notes, but can see the overview/FYI section). Also wish there were two sections for notes (one for academic progress notes, and one for counseling) that can be edited by shared team members. Being able to add attachments is also great. Very easy to read and navigate. Can change and edit dates which is very important. Can export informarion. Cons I think the "date added" should be the date put on the first notes, as sometimes we fill in notes a bit later on. Also, the speech to text feature is a bit off. Definitely have to go back to edit afterwards. I feel like the second name should not be mandatory as it looks weird, and not all clients want to give their last names. We have 3-4 active case managers on site and some of our clients overlap. With this software, we have been able to quickly share and update information in an organized way. Pros I like the accessibility and easy-to-use portal that Notehouse offers. Anyone with minimal computer skills can learn to how effectively navigate the software. The software comes at a great affordable price.
